King of Assassins
Kai's steps shook the ground as he entered the inn. All eyes were on him. Even Alexandra's beauty seemed to garner absolutely no attention next to this metal giant with an odd-looking sword stashed on his back.
The inn, on the other hand, looked simple but it had a lively atmosphere. Behind the bar was a balding man in his 60s who looked to be a person who was kind at heart. He had also stopped cleaning an ale flagon as he stared at Kai.
"Can I help you?" asked the balding innkeeper.
His voice was neither too demanding nor scared, it seemed he was well-versed in dealing with both the scum of these lands as well as the heroes. He wouldn't be afraid of a man in a suit of armour. Moreover, the man's eyes seemed confident for some reason.
