Edgeshot, A man of taste

Mineta walked into the building, and he found himself in a lobby that was quite different from what he was expecting, inside the building everything had a traditional Japanese look. Far from what the outside of the building looked like.

Mineta looked around and he had to admit it was rather beautiful, he walked forward a bit noticing there wasn't anyone in the building until he saw a dark-skin woman in a business outfit, standing as if she was waiting for someone. (A/N: click for pic)

"Welcome, Sir Minoru..." The woman said with a bow and a delightful voice, "Edgeshot is waiting for you in the training room" She said.

Mineta looked at her and nodded, "Right this way" The lady said, turning around and leading the way towards the training room, while they were walking, no small talk was made, both of them having a serious expression.

While walking Mineta sees amazing Japanese decorations on the wall, pictures and drawings of samurais and ninjas, there were even Kunai's. It was fascinating for Mineta to look at because he's never seen such things.

After walking for a little more they finally reached their destination, the lady stood in front of the door facing Mineta, "The training room is right this way, Mister Edgeshot will be waiting for you right behind this door" She said.

Mineta was quite confused, with his super hearing he couldn't really hear anything behind the door, he was sure if Edgeshot was behind the door he could hear his breathing but he couldn't, but Mineta knew it would be better not to ask so he just nodded.

The lady opened the Shoji-style door for Mineta since his hands were occupied because of the briefcases, Mineta saw that the room was quite dark but there was nothing he could do, he walked into the room and the lady closed the door behind him.

The room started lighting up, and just as Mineta expected, it was like a dojo, there was no one in the room, Mineta walked toward the center of the room and looked around, and yep, no one in sight.

'Edgeshot isn't here like I thought, if he isn't here and I'm in a training room then there can only be one reason I'm here for...' Mineta thought, suddenly he heard something mechanic, and his instincts were screaming at him that he was in danger! He moved his head slightly back and dodged an arrow.

'What the fuck! An arrow?!' Mineta heard more mechanical noises, deciding not to stay in the same spot to not get penetrated by more arrows, he jumped in the air in hopes of dodging more arrows, but instead, there were multiple arrows coming straight at him from different directions.

Mineta rotated in the air using both briefcases to block the arrows from hitting him, he landed on the floor and quickly opened the gigantic briefcase he was holding, inside there were 2 giant swords connected with a black chain (just like Tengen's) the edge of the sword had a very light purple color, instead of a golden color. The half circle in the sword was a bit longer and sharper than Tengen's.

He grabs the swords, but as soon as he grabs them, more arrows are shot at him, but before the arrows could hit Mineta he skillfully blocked them with his sword skills. And just like that for the next couple of minutes, Mineta kept dodging, blocking, and slicing arrows that were coming at him.

And finally, after going through what seemed to be hell on earth, it stopped, and just like that, without even using his quirk once, he finished whatever this was. The door in which he entered the room opened, and he saw the 2 people walk in. Edgeshot wearing a black suit, and the same dark skin woman who led him here walking beside him.

*CLAP*

*CLAP*

Edgeshot started clapping standing in front of Mineta who was quite angered at whatever was happening meanwhile Edgeshot had a friendly smile, "Common, don't be so mad, it was just a little test" Edgeshot said with a friendly tone.

"Well, I hate the test, also were those real fucking arrows?" Mineta responded causing Edgeshot to chuckle, "Why didn't you use your quirk? I had to admit your sword skills were impressive but still, with what I saw in the festival you could have done a lot with your quirk" Edgeshot stated, curious to see why and also completely ignoring the question about arrows.

"I'm not going to use my quirk for something as silly as this, I'll use my quirk when necessary, not for dumb games like these" Mineta said with a serious expression, almost as if he was glaring at Edgeshot and telling him not to do some dumb stunt like that again.

Edgeshot squinted his eyes, looking at Mineta with a certain expression, 'Interesting...I made the right choice choosing him'

"I understand, don't worry, when we begin training, I assure...you'll use your quirk" Edgeshot said, saying the last part with a cold tone as well as letting out some bloodlust, Mineta was quite indeed surprised by this, and also a bit shook.

"Anyway, Linda, give Mineta his schedule," the dark-skinned woman who we now know is named Linda nodded, she turned on the tablet she had in her hands and gave it to Mineta. Mineta put both the swords he was holding in his right hand and grabbed the tablet with his left.

Mineta read what was in the tablet for a few seconds and looked back at Edgeshot with a discombobulated face, "Shinobi/Ninja training? Information gathering lessons? Control emotions lessons? What the fuck am I even looking at?" Mineta said.

"I am the hero Edgeshot as you know already, and my skills are that of Shinobi's and Ninjas, gathering information is one of my most well-known points which I do for the hero association so obviously, I'll be teaching you it, and I can already tell that you are horrible at hiding your emotions, so you'll need help with that if you ever want to gather information" Edgeshot said, Mineta thought for a second and understood, there wouldn't be any harm in learning Shinobi/ninja skills as well as information gathering but...

"I don't think I need lessons to control my emotions" Mineta said, Edgeshot perked his eyebrow, his smiling expression changing that to one of disgust, "Your girlfriend is really...fucking ugly" Instantly the second he finished, Mineta's sword was right on Edgeshot's throat. It was quite literally barely touching it.

"...do you see what I mean?" Edgeshot said with his expression once again changing to that of a happy man, Mineta still glaring at edgeshot slowly withdrew his sword from Edgeshot's throat.

"How do you know I have a girlfriend?" Mineta asked, Edgeshot chuckled, "A man in love isn't really that hard to tell" Edgeshot said, making Linda giggle, "Ain't that the truth" Linda added.

Edgeshot turned his head to face Linda, "I feel targeted here" He said with a blank expression, "Me targeting the famous number 4 hero of Japan, known to not show mercy on villains? I would never" Linda said sarcastically, Edgeshot and Linda continued flirting while Mineta was just watching this unfold.

'For a woman who had one of the most serious and professional expressions I've ever seen, to change that quickly, is quite surprising...wait are they...' Mineta thought, finally they finished talking.

"Anyway, the schedule you have is what you'll do for the entire week and a half you are here for, sometimes Linda will be the one teaching you, any questions?" Edgeshot said, Mineta, looked at him and asked, "Where will I sleep?"

There was a silence for a few seconds while edgeshot kept his smile, "Here of course" He answered.

"...Eh, I'm fine with that" Mineta responded totally fine with living here, it caught Edgeshot and Linda by surprise but they weren't complaining.

"Anyway let's start training" Edgeshot said taking off his tuxedo jacket and giving it to Linda, "Your gonna spar with me wearing that?" Mineta said confused.

Edgeshot looked at him with a smile, "Trust me, when your strong, the outfit doesn't matter" He said, and soon the training began...

...

It's been 3 hours of non-stop training, and to say the least, Mineta was absolutely destroyed, he barely landed any punches, and although he learned a lot from the training session it was frustrating...but, he learned, and that's what matters.

While Mineta was heavy breathing on the ground with his uniform all torn, Edgeshot was barely sweating, he was kind of out of breath, and his suit was also all torn, but not because of Mineta but because of his quirk, he looked like he only went for a light jog...

"Sir Edgeshot, there is paperwork for you to do" Linda said giving Edgeshot a glare, she stood there the whole time during the training session, Edgeshot let out a frustrated sigh, "Well, let us continue training later, there's a room in this building that has your appropriate training clothes, go find it, good luck" Edgeshot said while walking away to his office, Linda following right behind.

Mineta looked around the training room, seeing holes in the walls and ground, he saw a little bit of blood in some parts which were his, and all of that, just for Edgeshot to barely break a sweat...

"What a fucking monster" Mineta muttered, indeed, monsters are more common than Mineta knows.
