The new beginnings

Sophia and Daniel moved between tables to toast the guests. When Daniel introduced himself everyone was left speechless. They fawned over him trying to get a deal with his company. Daniel handled things perfectly, not being impatient at all yet he smoothly avoided the business talks.

The young socialites who came with their family were so jealous of Sophia that their eyes turned red. They were swooning over him because of Daniel's devilish physique and now that they knew he is the Daniel Rodriguez, the richest man of his age and one of the wealthiest man of the world, they all were so angry and jealous that if looks would kill then Sophia would have died many a times by now.

Sophia knew that she became the public enemy of the socialites as she took down the most eligible bachelor off the charts. When anyone asked her how they met, she would just smile. She can't say the truth after all she really didn't know him before a few hours but no one would believe her even if she said.

Everyone thought she was being cocky and not wanted to tell them. But Daniel came to her rescue saying, "I fell in love with her at first sight."

Sophia thought how considerate her husband is. She felt very grateful and promised herself to work hard and be worthy of the new title 'Mrs. Sophia Daniel Rodriguez.'

After they visited all the guests, they went towards Anna and Edward. It was time for them to make a move.

"We shall take our leave now, Mom Dad.", Sophia said looking at Anna and Edward respectively.

"Take care Sophia. You know we are always there for you, right?", Anna said with her motherly love filled eyes. Sophia hugged Anna tightly.

Sophia let go of Anna and moved towards Edward and hugged him. "Be happy. Your dad is always there if you ever need him.", Edward said and planted a kiss on the crown of her head.

Sophia nodded her head and got out of his embrace when Noah crashed into her, hugging her so tight that she felt like her bones were going to crash.

"Are you trying to kill me, you idiot.", Sophia said playfully hitting his biceps. Noah loosened his arms a bit and murmured softly, "I will miss you."

Sophia's heart melted. She hugged him back saying," I will miss you too. Take care of mom and dad. And take care of yourself more. Don't get hurt and don't go street racing."

Noah nodded his head and left her reluctantly. Daniel held Sophia's hand softly yet firmly, providing his silent support. "I will take care of her, always.", Daniel said looking at Anna and Edward who looked at him with grateful eyes.

Sophia and Daniel moved towards the entrance followed by their family. There Joe was ready with the car.

Joe came forward and extended a box towards Daniel who took it silently and threw it at Noah after giving him a look. Noah caught the box perfectly and raised his eyebrows.

"What's this brother-in-law?", Noah said looking at the small box.

"Your fee for the future help. Take care of mom and dad well so that Sophia doesn't have to worry too much.", Daniel spoke and Noah opened the box and gasped seeing the keys inside.

"Is this what I am thinking?", he asked nobody in particular. Daniel gave Joe a look who spoke, "Boss asked me to book the Chevrolet Corvette and you can get the colour customised. After that it will be delivered to the Miller house sir"

"You can call me Noah", he said to Joe who nodded his head in understanding.

"Wow. I can even get the colour customised. Brother-in-law you are the best.", Noah said doing a happy dance and then looked at Daniel who smiled at his childishness.

Noah is a 21 year old young man and he is in the age where these things fascinate him. And Daniel felt happy fulfilling his little brother's small wish. After all, now they are family.

Anna and Edward shook their heads seeing their stupid son. They wanted to say, he is adopted.

Sophia didn't say anything but she looked at Daniel deeply. After they greeted everyone, they settled in the car and drove out.

"You didn't have to do that.", Sophia said looking outside the window after keeping quiet for a while.

"I wanted to.", Daniel spoke looking at her reflection in the mirror.

Sophia too looked at him through the reflection and they didn't speak for a few minutes.

Joe thought to break the ice. "Hello Mam, I am Daniel sir's personal assistant. You can call me Joe. I can help you with anything if you ever need my help." , Joe said which earned him a hard glare from his boss.

Joe was confused for a second but then understood that his Boss got angry because he broke their moment. He just wanted to help but seems like Boss doesn't need any assistance from him at the moment.

"Hello Joe. I am Sophia Miller. Nice to meet you.", Sophia said and Daniel cleared his throat.

"Sophia Miller Rodriguez", she said in amusement taking his hint. Daniel was satisfied hearing her name this time. Joe looked at his Boss's, enjoying his antics but soon averted his gaze fearing he might get his bonus deducted.

Soon they reached Daniel's villa. It was located in "The Heavenly Abode Society", one of the high class society areas that too in most inconspicuous position, perfectly displaying the privacy maintained here.

The villa gates opened automatically as soon as driver moved the car in front of the gates and the car drove inside. The mansion was huge. It stood in glory there screaming of the wealth the owner holds.

Sophia looked at everything mesmerized. Soon the car stopped after taking half a round around the fountain. Sophia was still looking at her surroundings unaware the car stopped moving.

Daniel got down and moved towards her side and opened the door for her. He extended his head and said , "Shall we ?"

His voice brought Sophia out of her thoughts and she nodded and took his hand quickly trying to hide her embarrassment. Daniel just smiled softly and led her inside.
