Season 3 Chapter 1

I reached Germany's International airport and waited for those two idiots to come and pick me up. There was a light tap on my shoulder, I turned around and noticed Victoria and Jules standing behind me, they hugged me tightly as I felt awkward.

Jules: We missed you so much!! (She says while hugging, her big breasts pressed against my stiff arm making it more awkward for me, yes, I wasn't hugging them back, I was just standing there like a statue)

Me: Jules….you are squeezing me! (I tried to push her away but she was like a leach)

Victoria: (she also felt uncomfortable) Jules …You are crushing us…

Jules: This is my love for both of you. (She pouts while hugging)

Butler: (he was stood there for a while before clearing his throat) Milady, Madam is waiting for you in the car, I hope you will hurry up.

Jules let go of the hug, Victoria's face dropped as she looks at the butler and gives him a slight nod, there was sadness in her eyes but she didn't say a word, I wonder what happened during my absence, but Victoria looked a bit different.

Victoria: Let's go, mother has an important meeting, I don't want her to be late. (She looked away feeling uncomfortable)

Me: Uhm…Ya….I am really grateful that your mother came all the way to airport for picking me. (I smiled even though I felt awkward about the situation)

We walked towards the car waiting for us, the window of the back seat went down as a blonde head woman who's hair was neatly tied in a bun, looked at us through her sunglass, she stared at me from head to toe before taking out her sunglass and speaks addressing Victoria while her eyes were fixed on me.

Greta: Is this the one you kept on praising? I thought she would be better than her. (She glances at Jules) but I feel both are from same category. Victoria, you are my daughter, if the heir has such bad standards in making friends, I may have to rethink my decision. (She sounded frustrated while her tone was filled with judgement and disgust, never in my life I felt this much self-conscious).

Victoria: (she looked embarrassed as she lowered her eyes) I am sorry mother….I will keep that in mind from next time, but can you not insult my friends?

Greta: (she folds her arms raising her brow) Since when saying facts have become an insult? Even to insult someone, their status needs to be equal to you. Anyways, get on the car, I am getting late. (She said feeling impatient)

I felt embarrassed and self-conscious, Victoria moistened her lips, there was silence throughout the journey before we were dropped in front of a Japanese restaurant where Jules was staying on rent. The restaurant was two-story, the 1st floor has rooms for rent and ground floor was the restaurant. Jules walked in carrying one of my suitcases while I followed her from behind, a middle-aged Japanese lady was wiping the tables and counter while murmuring under her breath

Jules: Be careful, she can be grumpy sometimes. (She says whispering softly)

Naomi: I can hear you. (She glared at Jules then looked at me) So you are the new girl, hope you aren't like her. (Points at Jules) Because she is already a headache for me. Your room is upstairs, I have already cleaned it, hope Jules have informed you about the rent and rules, don't disturb me and we are good.

Me: Hm….do you need any help? (I glanced at the restaurant, it looked old and lacked customers even though it was peak hours)

Naomi: (she stood behind the counter and raised her brow) What do you mean? I do appreciate extra hands but that doesn't mean I will hire a kid.

Me: You don't need to pay me, you can just reduce my rent. (Jules looked at me like "what the fuck?", I ignored her expressions while continuing) All I want is meals and reduces rent, and in exchange I will help you out with your work, how is the idea? (I gave a professional smile)

Naomi: Do I look like an idiot? (She sighed) Don't try to butter me, do you even know how to use a knife? (She rubbed her forehead)

Me: I can cook ramen for you, then you can judge my skills, how about that? If you don't like it, I won't ask you to reduce my rent ever again. (I kept smiling)

Naomi: Don't blame me, if you end up injuring yourself. (She points) Kitchen is inside, don't ruin anything, I just cleaned. (She rolls up her eyes)

Putting down my luggage, I walked in the kitchen after removing my shoes, after sometime I put down a bowl of hot ramen in front of her, as she takes chopsticks in her hands does her prayer before taking a bite then stares at me for a few seconds before sighing.

Me: So? (I blinked)

Naomi: Jules, help her settle down in the room upstairs. (She throws the key at Jules who grabs it) I am reducing your rent as part of the deal, cook your own food, you are free to use the kitchen, you can work as my apprentice if your parents give permission. (She starts eating the ramen).

Me: My parents won't care, so don't worry, you already have their permission. (I smiled)

Naomi: (she puts down her chopsticks) Look kid, I don't know what's your backstory, and I don't care, don't bother me with emotional stuffs and bring a proper permission. Now go and freshen up instead of annoying me.

I picked up my luggage, Jules climbed up the stairs and opened the room on the right side, it was a small yet sufficient room, it had an attached bathroom and balcony which faced the main street the balcony also acted like window for ventilation, single bed, study table and chair, one dressing table, and a wardrobe. The room was neat and tidy, it felt like they have painted it recently. After unpacking my luggage, I set up the room before going out to buy some necessities, I walked around the street to get familiar with the area.
