[Bonus Chapter] Restricting Ace

{Thanks for three hundred power stones during WPC. This is the second bonus chapter}

Gu Tan clenched his fist and stomped on the ground. His figure dashed towards the man. The internal energy rolled out of his body and fused with his fist. As soon as he reached near the man, he slowly pushed his fist.

The man also saw it but he didn't care much. He simply raised his hand and tried to catch his fist. But, when Gu Tan's fist struck his palm, his arm rolled back and his entire body flew out of his initial position.

"Arhat's Fist!"

A gentle fist that drives the crazy power of the golden Buddha. It expands his physical strength to another level by transforming his internal energy. It works like Atlas Bloodline except Gu Tan uses martial art to create this force.

But, after he punched the man, he found something troublesome. Although he got the man by surprise, it wouldn't work twice especially when his cultivation is only at the first stage.

"Tch! Long Hua, it seems now is your turn to shine." Gu Tan mumbles as he closes his eyes.

"Bastard!" The man jumped up from the ground and dashed towards Gu Tan. His foot moved at an insane speed. He gathered the internal energy in his fist and throws it from above. His fist was aimed straight at Gu Tan's face.

"Battle Soul Technique- Dragon Transformation"

But, the next moment, white light burst out of him and the white scales covered his arm and leg. A long white tail appeared as well. Gu Tan raised his hand and caught that man's hand.

"Gah!"

Catching his hand, Gu Tan clenched his right fist or it could be called dragon fist since his fingers were like claws. While the man struggled, Gu Tan smashed his stomach and made him cough out blood. Just when the killing intent appeared in his eyes, Gu Tan shook his head and thought.

'No, I can't kill him. I don't' even know why is she fighting against him? And, she is not even properly conscious. I need to make him immobilize.'

"Vein Splitting Palm!" The remaining yellow internal energy fused with his palm. He pushed his palm against his chest, and the internal energy burst inside his chest. It went in with an immense force, severing those veins inside his body.

Finally, Gu Tan let the man's body fall to the ground. He was still struggling but when his veins were cut off, he finally fell unconscious.

"Hu! Hu! Hu! Hu! I used all of the internal energy, huh." Gu Tan also falls on his butt while panting. His white dragon transformation fades away.

"Tan! Tan! Are you alright?" A voice rang from afar which startled him. But, the figure quickly reached near him and crouched down. This was none other than his father.

"I am alright, father. I just don't have enough stamina to stand up and also confuse my entire internal energy." Gu Tan spoke while laying on the ground. Although it was just two strikes, he didn't expect the Battle Soul Transformation to consume this much stamina.

He never got a chance to form Battle Soul Bond in his previous life and he thought his stamina was good.

"Thank god!" Gu Chen sighed a breath of relief and stood up. He walked up to the body of that man and a strange look appeared in his eyes. Without even looking back, he couldn't help but ask "You defeated a stage four martial artist? How did you do that?"

'So, he didn't see my dragon scales, huh. Well, he was indeed far when I landed the second hit on that man using the Dragon Transformation. And, after that, the dragon scales faded away. Such a drag! I need to increase my stamina.'

Thinking so, he couldn't help but raise his right hand and continue 'It seems I need to abstain myself from using my right hand daily.'

"You didn't tell me. How did you defeat him?" Gu Chen returned back in front of his son and asked.

"Secret!" Gu Tan smirked and answered while turning his head towards Zhao Xin. At this moment, she was unconscious and her armor had disappeared.

'That was her martial soul, right? I couldn't be wrong but it doesn't perform as a martial soul. Am I missing something? Did I skip some introduction on the martial soul in my previous life?' While Gu Chen felt like smacking his son, Gu tan was focused on Zhao Xin's situation.

"Master, I think it is not a martial soul." Long Hua's voice rang on his mind and startled him.

'Wait, aren't you tired as well?' Gu Tan asked with surprise.

"No, I am not. Why would I be tired when you are the one who has to bear all of that power?" Long Hua floated on his sea of consciousness and rolled her eyes.

But, suddenly another voice rang in his mind.

"Affirmative! The human named Zhao Xin doesn't possess Martial Soul. According to page fifty-six of the Book of Martial Soul, there is a variant form that can possess the abilities of a martial soul alongside the benefits of Battle Soul Bond. Thus, it was called Battle Soul."

"While it does have many benefits, it comes with a terrible side effect. The martial artist who awakens battle soul must walk on their predestined path and can't comprise their battle souls' will. If Battle Soul wants to do something good, a person must do a good thing. If Battle Soul wants to do something bad, a person must do a bad thing."

'Ace, you are awake!' Only then, Gu Tan finally remembered her. Originally, he thought the first thing he would do after waking up would be test Ace. But, he got consumed in other things and forgot about her.

"Yes, Host! And, I am fully prepared to be at your service. I have completely registered your data alongside your mother (my previous host), your world, and even your memories. Now, I can truly work as an artificial intelligence created to help my host." This time, Ace's voice was feminine for some reason.

Even Gu Tan noticed it but he was more concerned about something else.

"I am sorry for reading your memories without your permission, host. But, I was coded to access all of your information without requiring your permission. This was written on the terms and conditions of having me as your A.I."

"Unfortunately, I found that you haven't read these terms and conditions properly. And, you basically have no idea about A.I. as well. Would you like me to send those terms and conditions to your mind?" Ace spoke again in his mind.

'You mean like directly sending the information to my mind? Are you sure it won't create any troublesome situation?' Gu Tan wanted to scold Ace but when he found that there were terms and conditions for having her, he froze.

Because his mother didn't explain this to him. And, he knows agreeing to someone's terms means he must follow the rule. If he breaks the rule, then he might get punished. Of course, if he was strong, he would have broken the rules. But, he isn't strong.

So, he calmed down and decided to under the matter first and then talk.

"Not a chance! My information transmitting function is top-notch. But, if the information is about the laws of nature, something much more advanced than these terms and conditions, then it could make the host feel pain." Ace denied it and explained.

"So, would you like me to proceed?"

Hearing her question, Gu Tan frowned for a moment and answered 'Yes!'

Suddenly, he found a cool sensation throughout his brain. It was so relaxing that for a moment, he even forgot about the information. And, the moment that relaxation stopped, he found a new piece of information in his brain.

Digesting this kind of information was quite easy. Because this information has been sent into his sea of consciousness where he could just absorb it into his brain. It's like reading it but with a hundred percent memorization function.

"So, do you want me to take you back?" Gu Chen asked after he decided not to hit Gu Tan. While Gu Tan was receiving information, he could still hear. He nodded his head and Gu Chen lifts his son on his back.

After half an later,

'Ace, let me ask you something! According to this term and condition, there is a rule saying you must do whatever I ask you to do, right?' Gu Tan asked while sitting on the chair.

"Yes, Host! I was designed to serve my host and I will do anything you ask me to do." Ace answered in his mind.

'Good, then from now on, you will never ever peek into my thoughts and my memories.' Gu Tan replied with a stern look on his face.

"Yes, Host! I will never ever peek into your thoughts and memories. But, am I allowed to give you suggestions based on situations you could be in?" Ace asked.

'Yes, of course! Unlike me, you can process thousands and millions of thoughts at the same time. You are perfect for making decisions. So, you can judge my situation and give me the suggestions but you are not allowed to peek into my thoughts.' Gu Tan answered

"Yes, Host!"
