Maybe apart from emeralds, all foreigners shared the same impression of Colombia - drugs and guerrillas. In fact, in addition to these two things, Colombia also had robbers, thieves, homeless people, the typical South American passion, as well as the "lazy culture."
Since the beginning of the Cold War, the guerrillas in this country were fighting against the pro-UA government and the UA. However, after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the guerrillas that had lost external support quickly deteriorated, and now they have basically survived on hostages and drugs. Not only did their numbers decrease significantly, but they also moved completely from the city into the remote border mountains.
