That afternoon, as usual, the Partys Bar was bustling with customers, and an irregular customer would walk through the door every so often. People who had traveled a long distance across the ocean ended up in this Foosha village after getting stuck during their journey. Those peculiar guests were among them.

They will begin telling the Foosha villagers who have never traveled outside of this region tales about their fantastical trip while they are stuffing a piece of meat into their mouths and sipping sake.

One of the villagers expressed skepticism by asking the man, "Did you really battle a sea monster?"

"Do you have any idea how large this monster actually is? This sea monster is even bigger than my ship, but in the end, we were able to defeat it through our hard work, or you could say it was our cannons that managed to kill the sea monster, hahahaha."

The bar's atmosphere became even livelier as more and more people gathered to listen to the stories told by this peculiar group of customers, and the sounds of admiration, laughter, and applause were occasionally heard throughout the bar.

The moment a middle-aged man with somewhat slight grey hair and a muscular body entered the bar, all of the noise abruptly ceased, and the place fell into complete silence.

"Don't listen to the crap of drunks like them. They're just ordinary merchants who like to fantasize," said the man who had just arrived.

Feeling humiliated, the group that had been engrossed in telling their stories started to stand up. One of them barked grumpily, "what are you saying, geezer? Watch your mouth okay, or I will..." this man stopped in the middle of his words as if he was choking. His eyes immediately widened as if he had just seen something shocking.

"Why are you silent now, huh, don't let me put you all in jail for pissing me off!"

"Garp!!!... why is Vice Admiral in a place like this!..."

"That's bad... if we make the Marine heroes angry, we definitely won't survive..."

When the group found out that the person who had just arrived was Garp, the legendary hero of the Marines as well as a highly feared Vice Admiral, the group's guts immediately sank and fell silent, not knowing what to do.

Garp erupted in a hearty laugh as if he found it humorous to deal with all of their responses, and when the others in the group thought that everything was under control, Garp said in a stern voice:

"You better go now, before I sink your ship and your merchandise! And also don't tell nonsense next time or you will stay in jail for a few days!"

After hearing Garp's threatening order, the group quickly nodded their heads and promised not to repeat it again before rushing out the door in a hurry.

The villagers of Foosha finally found out that those guys were just boasting and talking nonsense and were disappointed, but they all thanked Garp, and after that, the atmosphere of the bar returned to normal.

Luffy, who had witnessed the incident earlier, remarked, "what a bunch of losers," and it seemed as though he already knew that those people were lying because he didn't seem impressed with their story.

"Is He trying to get Luffy to train again? Stubborn geezer," Makino muttered when she saw Garp, who started walking towards the two of them.

But Makino was a little taken aback when she saw Luffy, who usually would be terrified when he saw Garp's arrival, but for some reason, Luffy appeared calm this time.

Garp asked, "yo Luffy, are you going to escape again today by saying you're still sick," as he slapped Luffy's back hard, causing Luffy to immediately cough.

"You will be surprised grandpa, too bad this time I will join the training with you."

"Is that so, even though I really wanted to hit you, but because you are sick, it can't be helped..." however, before Garp finished his words, he then realized something was wrong.

"what!!! what did you say just now Luffy?"

"I said that I will join grandpa training."

"bwahahahahahahahaha…"

After confirming it yet again, Garp suddenly started laughing so hard that he shed tears, and he gave Luffy a hard pat on the back as though he was feeling satisfied.

Meanwhile, Makino, who was still in shock, started asking Luffy, "are you sure, aren't you still injured?" with concern in her voice.

'It's actually good that this woman is still eating my crap, but I can't help but think that she's so naive and innocent, huh,' thought Luffy to himself, but on the outside, he was showing a big grin.

"Don't worry Makino, with this training I'm sure I will recover faster."

As if he was afraid that Luffy would change his mind, Garp then quickly lifted Luffy and put him on his shoulders before quickly running out of the bar.

Makino could only shake her head in confusion as she watched Garp run away with Luffy on his shoulders, but she was powerless to stop him if Luffy wanted it for himself.

"what happened to Luffy lately really surprised me... can losing memory change someone that drastic?"

The Luffy that Makino and the others knew had actually died, and the man who now possesses his body is a stranger from another world who later will alter this world into a new era.

All of that will begin in this Foosha village, and eventually, he will set sail on this vast sea, where he will discover the truth that not many people know while looking for his new purpose in life in this world.
