Friends?!

Before going to school I got my mother's phone and blocked the school's number. I quickly got mine and saw messages of Suga. Apparently my mother text him to leave me alone and to all my friends. I made a group chat and said "I'm fine but don't text back this number." I blocked Suga number and put my phone back. I wasn't planning on going to classes and I knew the main office would call alot of times asking why I didn't attend.

I went to the garden and just hid there. People came to read out here sometimes when the library was to full or closed. I packed a sandwich and some water as I knew I would be out here all day.

Before, I blocked Suga I text him "I'm breaking up with you and don't come after me."

I laid down on the concrete bench and rinsed my fingers through my hair. There was a big tree right in the middle of the garden. It was so big that it covered the whole garden with its beautiful shade. A tear roll down my cheek as I remembered last night.

"Everything is going to be alright." I whispered to myself.

I put a book over my face and let the birds chip. If cops came I would know because of their foot steps or the loud golf cart. Time went by and it was already lunch time. I sat up as I didn't have to hide and I knew people would come out here to eat or read. I didn't want people to see me though I didn't want to speak to anyone. I saw people coming and I stood up.

I need to tell my friends. I can't just act like they don't care. I went to the cafeteria and see if Suga was there. He wasn't there, I quickly went to my friends and they gasped.

Nancy said "Are you ok?!"

Jennie said "I feel awful for telling you to go out with him."

Tory said "She beat you? Didn't she?"

Rose said "I just want to hit your mom myself!"

"Look don't text me. I'll send you guys a text by social media but when things calm down. I text Suga that it was over." I said with a serious face.

Jennie said "You seem very different I think she beat you really bad this time."

I chuckled and said "You should had seen everything."

Rose said "I would look for a knife!"

I sighed and said "My mom will probably go to each one of your houses. You guys tell your mom's that she's just mad that I had a boyfriend."

Jennie said "We already did. I mean you already had told us before even thinking about going out with him."

I nodded and said "I'll see you guys soon."

Rose said "Be careful don't get caught!"

I looked around before leaving to go back outside to the garden.

I was walking down the empty hall until I felt someone put there hand over my mouth and pulled me. I tried to get out of the situation I was in but it was to complicated. I was flipped around and I looked who it was.

"What to explain?" He asked.

I looked at him and I didn't want to tell him my mom beat me up.

"Mom found out we were a thing." I said looking at him.

Suga came close to me but I backed away.

"It's ok just tell her were not a thing anymore." He said with a soft smile.

I looked away and said "Someone snitched on me."

"Who?" He asked.

I shrugged and said "I really don't want to date you and I want to be alone."

I turned around and Suga said from behind "I won't give up on you."

I walked outside and went to the garden.

*skip to home*

"Did you tell him it was over?" My mother asked.

"Yes." I said.

"Leave." She said.

I went to my room.

*Friday*

I went to the office early in the morning and turned in my absent sheet with my mother's fake signature.

I walked off into the cafeteria and sat with my friends.

Rose said "Suga came and talked to us."

I nodded my head.

Jennie told Rose to shush with her finger.

Mr. Henry called me from behind.

I walked with him and he asked why didn't go to school.

I said "Go this cold but I feel better."

Mr. Henry said "Don't look like it."

I gave him a soft smile and said "I'm fine don't worry but can I leave?"

Mr. Henry said "I'm here if you need anything."

I nodded before leaving.

I went out the cafeteria and saw Suga coming in. I walked past him and went to the auditorium.

*French class*

I was in class and I did my work. I stayed focus like a good student and didn't even look at Suga. I knew he was trying to get my attention but I didn't care.

*Skip time to health class*

"Are you not going to talk to me again?" He asked.

I looked at him serious and said "Leave me alone." I went back to doing my work.

Suga took my pencil and I didn't even get mad.

The coach came and asked "Is everything ok?"

I looked at Suga then at the coach and said "No he took my pencil."

Suga widen his eyes and said "Wh-"

The coach took my pencil from his hand and gave it back to me.

I started to do my work again and Suga turned around disappointed.

I wrote a fake paper that I needed to get out of class early. I showed it to my coach to leave and he let me out. I walked out the building and Suga followed from behind.

"Your lucky I didn't snitch on you for writing that fake excuse." He said.

I rolled my eyes and I walked faster to the main building.

He tried to grab my hand but I didn't let him. "Stop." I said.

My eyes became teary as I looked at him. Suga looked at me and said "Ok but don't cry. I'll leave for now."

*Skip time to Monday*

I got dropped off and stood outside waiting for the ladies to open the school. I car drove up and I looked but sighed.

"Not them." I said as I looked at the camera.

I heard foot steps coming closer and got nervous as I saw it was a guy.

"Can we talk?" He asked

I turned around and it was Suga.

"Look we can be friends and that's it." I said nervously.

Suga smiled and said "I accept!"

I frowned as I looked at him surprisingly.

Suga looked away and said "Just answer me why your mother won't let you date?"

I looked away as he started to look at me and I said "She don't let me date you."

Suga raised an eyebrow and said "I am respectful, make all A's in all my classes, and work. I would never harm you or anybody. I will come meet her and-"

"She don't like Koreans." I said as I grabbed my throat. I was feeling so much pain that I wanted to cry and just hug Suga.

Suga widened his eyes and the ladies came from around the corner and said "Good morning!"

I cleared my throat and said with a smile "Good morning!"

I waited to go in the school and saw Suga kind of down.

Suga followed from behind and we sat down in the auditorium.

The silence was killing me and I said "What?"

Suga stopped looking down at his fingers and looked up at me. He nodded his head sideways.

"Tell me!" I yelled.

"I don't have a chance with you at all." Suga said in a sad tone.

I looked at his chest and didn't say nothing. It was true we would never be together because of my parents.

Suga grabbed my hand and said "It's ok. I have a great idea!"

I looked at him confused.

Suga said "Once we graduate we can leave together!"

I pulled my hand away and said "I can't."

Suga said "Don't worry we will keep going to college but together! I won't mess up I promi-"

"Stop I can't!" I shouted.

Suga smiled and said "It's ok you can live with me, my mother loves you."

I looked at him and said "Your mother knows me?"

Suga said "Yes they both know and love you very much."

"Tell them I don't know how to cook and watch them not love me anymore." I said.

Suga said "We will teach you but I won't make you learn if you don't want to. However, it's important to know because if I die then who will cook for the kids."

I almost threw up and said "I will not go with you any where! We're going to different places after we graduate. You will become famous and go back to Korea. I will stay here in America and take care of my family."

Suga got sad and said "You can't leave me alone."

I patted Suga's leg and said "Your family will accept you for who you are. You won't be alone! Don't worry."

Suga nodded his head and said "I will tell my parents after graduation."

I gasped and said "Really?"

Suga said "Yes it's my dream and I'll work hard for it."

My heart melted as I heard him speak and wished how I could be like him.

Suga added "Your part of my dream and if I have to wait for you then I will."

I sighed and said "Don't wait. Go date another girl and be happy."

Suga grabbed my hand and said "I can't because I love you."

I chuckled as I pulled my hand away and said "Friends don't love eachother like that."

Suga said "Fine I'll be single for the rest of my life just like you."

I laughed and said "Sure you will. Once you get famous you'll go out with one of those famous rich girls."

Suga said "Maybe your right."

I smacked Suga on the arm.

Suga said "What was that for?! I thought you said you wanted me to be happy?!"

I said "I do but you had a mosquito."

Suga squinted his eyes and said "Ok deal! Friends with benefits it is."

Suga got up and started to walk away as I shouted "What?! No!"
