Travel and Progress Part 2

~One month and two weeks later~

"Are we nearly there yet, i'm bored" Asked Tian Long for the fiftieth time as they had come close to the city which meant that bandits didn't come close to this place within two weeks travel distance as there is always a patrol scouring the perimeters whether it be hired adventurers or the city gaurds.

At this point most of them were bored however none of them vocalised it as they tried to pass the time by doing other things. Dean was fine as he had to look after the horses and drive the carriage however Jian, Huo, Sarah and Tian Long were bored. Jian spent his time meditating over his sword trying to become a Sword Lord and realise his own domain whilst Sarah constantly practices her element control and practices the sword with Jian trying to attain her own Sword Qi to become a sword master however she hasn't had any luck.

Huo spends most of her time brewing tea or cleaning to pass the time whilst also sparring occasionaly with Tian Long to shut him up. Tian Long, ever since the incident with the beast had went on a training frenzy and would complain about being bored on the carriage so they would stop and let him train as he can't spar or do any serious training on the carriage.

Before they got to the dead mans (Bandits) land, Sarah had levelled another three times thanks to asking the others to hold back as she wanted be as powerful as possible to impress the academy. Sarah had also managed to break through on each of her elemental control skills.

Anyway back to the current scene,

"No" Sarah answered coldly as she was getting irritated that he was always stopping their journey prolonging the amount of time they had to travel in the first place. Seeing that he was starting to piss her off he shut up as he doesn't want a sword to the neck ... again.

Thanks to Tian Long they still had another two weeks to actually reach the city when they would have reached it last week had they not been stopping constantly.

*Thud* (x4)

All of them though the exact same thing, well almost all of them, 'What the f*ck is happening'. Turning their heads they hear as Jian stands up and looks at them, however they had to close their eyes as it felt like they were being stabbed by needles, and yes I mean stabbed not being pricked.

Sarah was the first to calm down and broke the ice lightly.

"You chose one hell of a time to break through"

Jian stopped his domain and sat down in medatation to consolidate his realm as he could fall back down to grandmaster realm if he doesn't. Hours later once he had finished his meditation he was asked all sorts of questions. He answered them all one by one, first he explained that he just wanted them to stop as he was trying to concentrate, his domain currently can only expand to about ten meters from him where he is literally god.

They tried asking more questions but he was unable to and he said that even if he could they wouldn't help them to achieve the same as everyone has to comprehend their own intent and domain.

After they passed by that incident they all broke through one after the other. Sarah ended up attaining Sword Qi which came from her use of YinYing which made her Qi seem more Etherial and Elusive fluctuating in and out of existence. 'The perfect sword Qi for assassination' is what Jian commented after seeing the properties of the Qi. Breaking through to the Sword Master realm for shadow Qi helped her break through twice in succession for the control of the element itself.

Tian Long also broke through to Fist Master and comprehended his own Fist Qi. His Qi feels like a raging dragon descending after having it's reverse scale touched, dominating and destroying all that stands in it's way.

Huo broke through to become a Whip Master and comprehended her own Qi which made them stare at her awkardly. Her Qi has the properties of restriction and enhancement. Restriction obviously aiming towards restraining her opponents, whilst the enhancement is the part that makes it awkward as enhancement in her terms can be used to enhance the senses of someone (sixth senses included). Huo explained in explicity that she can enhance the pain someone feels when they are hit when hit by the whip or she can confuse them by making them feel pleasure from being hit and then when they are at the height of their ecstacy take it away and probably make them her servant by promising them the pleasure they seek. This is what so many of her enemies fear of her in the future, she used this power so much that she eventually gained the nickname as the Sadistic Snake Empress.
