33 Warrior City

Arriving at the gate of the city, unlike towns cities have seperate gates for carriages. The same process of an inspection and paying a tax for entering. Unlike the usual times though Sarah didn't speak, beforehand she had told Dean tht from now on he is to handle anything that doesn't need her personally. Dean asked for the directions to the Warrior Academy as his 'Young Mistress' is applying this year.

Gotten the answer that the Warrior Academy inhabits the west as they represent the White Tiger divine beast as they wish to produce warriors that do not allow their pride to be tarnished and slaughter their enemies without remorse. What confused the group though was the fact that although their academy represented the white tiger they didn't use that as their symbol. They used a book with two swords crossed over it to represent that although strength is paramount, you will also need a certain standard of cleverness to also be a warrior as a warrior will also need to be able to plan their battles as well as the strength to fight them.

After getting the closest inn to the academy they waited for the next two days for the assessments to begin. For those two days Sarah dismissed every sword other than her light sword and frost sword which have been named Zhao Liang and Dongchuan respectively. Translated to english they mean illuminate and frostbite, illuminate for the katana of light as it is meant to illuminate her presence and frostbite as the power of the frost katana is to freeze whatever it comes into contact with.

Sarah's katana of darkness has also gained it's own name as Tunshi Guanming which means swallower of light as when she unsheathes it it swallows all light around it. Yinying and Tunshi will be dismissed when using her powers in the open and will only be used when she begins doing assassinations when she joins the Assassin's Guild.

~Day of Assessment~

Along the way to the academy she brought along Tian Long and Jian to enroll as students alongisde her and she told them of the details ahead of time using Charles' memory of when he joined. Hua will join as a maid as the academy allows people (mostly for nobles though) to bring in a retainer. Although she doesn't know what to do with Dean as the academy has their own people who they hire from the lower class of society. Maybe she can ask for him to get some sort of pass to allow him in at certain times to tend to the horses as she won't trust anyone she doesn't know to tend to her horses. If it wasn't for the aura eminating off of Jian and Tian Long Sarah would have most likely been approached by countless young masters wishing to try their luck with the beauty once she left the carriage as past a certain point carriages are not allowed as to stop smuggling in people and also smuggling people out as the academy also has their own prison where they keep the rule breakers and repeated offenders.

Walking to the registration area the group choose their own table to sit down, none of the nobles stopped her because her bearing showed them that she was a noble as her actions exuded the grace of a noble whether intentional or not as she had been trained in her past life on etiquette for noble ladies in her past life. Of course how can the event proceed without at least one young master trying to start up a conversation with her which failed dramatically as Sarah could only see lust in his eyes, lust for her body and lust for her presumed status. Turning him away she is approached by another young master however this time she could only see appreciation in his eyes and ... guilt?

Confused by why he would have feelings of guilt towards her she allowed him to sit with her and talk with him. They at first started off by introducing themselves. The young master introduced himself as Christopher Walt, wheras Sarah intriduced herself as Sarah Colleen. After hearing the second name the young man seemed surprised as he had never heard of this clan before but understood when she said her clan had existed from the near beginning of humanity and had receded itself since olden times, it was only recently with her mother taking over that they had started investing in coming back to society however it was pegged on her as they said that when she came back and had the strength of at least fourth rank they will go ahead with the plans if not they will not acknowlegde, in their word, 'those inferiors'.

Astonished by the boldness of declaring that she only had a few years to reach rank four Christopher was slightly scared of a clan that could do that but he guessed that if anyone could do it it would be someone from a clan from antiquity. Continuing their chat they eventually got to the topic of the other young master who came over and it turned out it was his younger brother from another mother and that they were competing to be the heir to the clan as they had roughly the same talent and were only born within a few months between the other however Christopher was just slightly ahead in talent therefore received more attention. Sarah found out that the younger brother was named David.

Sarah could see the resemblance between them as they both had hazelnut brown eyes but David had black hair whereas Christopher had a more dirty blonde hair. David also cut his hair short whilst Christopher let his grow out to the middle of his back and tied it in a simple pony tail. Christopher also wore a white cheongsam whilst David wore a black one. It seemed that David chose to the opposite of whatever Christopher done whether it be hair or clothing colour. Christopher was very down to earth while David was very arrogant and lustful and felt that everything should belong to him ... You know, 'Young master syndrome'.
