Chapter 46

A few days had passed and Guy had offered for Naruto to come live with him to which he quickly agreed. He felt safer with him anyways. But there was no way in hell he was wearing that green spandex. Guy had at some point asked Naruto who directed him to come find him, to which he said his friend, Sakura. A few days passed and Naruto had begun learning from Guy. It was tough. He had never gone through such merciless and brutal training before, even by himself when he pushed himself. He had begun to eat properly as well with an increase in appetite, coupled with the trainings that would force him to drag his tired and almost broken body to bed, and that was saying something considering his monstrous Uzumaki stamina. Guy had realized the insane stamina the young man had and decided to properly utilize it. It was undeniable that Naruto was slowly getting stronger.

Two weeks later, Naruto was practicing shuriken and kunai throwing at his usual spot. His aim had gotten better with him hitting the bullseye on the targets almost 100% of the time. It was found that he had been using faulty sets of kunai during training at the academy and at his previous home, and the constant use had worsened his throw. From then on, he rarely went to the academy. After all, what was the point of going somewhere that had no interest in training him properly?

Naruto felt a stare from a little distance away and threw the kunai towards that direction. He moved quickly and found the culprit, passed out behind the tree. "Hinata?".

The white eyed young lady of the Hyuga clan had been there that day. As always, she had been worried about Naruto, and had stalk--, followed him and Iruka throughout their journeys that day. She listened in on the conversations of Guy and Naruto and heard everything. She began to cry even before Naruto had begun crying himself. After Naruto had passed out, she left with determination to get stronger in order to protect Naruto. She was worried about him and sometimes came to check up on him. Seeing him drag his exhausted self after trainings, day after day, made her train even harder.

Today, just like any other, she had come to see if he was ok and was happily doing so until a kunai whizzed past her. She did not really care about the sudden attack that nearly killed her, no, she was more concerned about Naruto dashing towards her. So many thoughts flashed through her mind as she her face began to redden hard until she passed out.

Naruto sat her against the tree and sat by her with his back facing her. After a while, Hinata finally woke up with her memories fuzzy on what happened. As she turned, she saw Naruto sitting by her. She was happy and panicky at the same time.

"Hinata." Naruto's words stiffened her. She was afraid the person she liked was about to admonish her. She was almost on the verge of tears.

"Thank you." The words were completely opposite of what she was expecting to hear. She looked confused at the back of Naruto and noticed he had at some point, without her realizing, turned to face her, making her blush. He was so close to her.

"I am sorry I never paid attention. You have always been here. Thank you Hinata." Hinata was happy. She was beyond the clouds at the moment. She never imagined Naruto would ever say those words to her and she was truly happy.

"But…" Just as she was about to pass out from happiness, Naruto spoke again which quickly sobered her up. 'Why but? Please no but.' She thought. She knew Naruto liked Haruno Sakura from class. She had watched with shaky heart as Naruto was constantly being beat up by that bitch just for talking to her. She was saddened and on the verge of tears once more.

"You would be unable to stay by my side if you are not strong. Since you have been here then you know. If you stay by my side then others will come for you as well if they can no longer bully me." He remembered saving her once from a few bullies.

"So, what do you say, Hinata? Will you get stronger together with me so no one ever bullies us again?" Cloud Nine Once More!

'Er? Together? Forever? Yes!'

"I do!"

"Huh? Hinata? Oi Hinata?" Without her realizing, Hinata had already passed out from joy. The rollercoaster of emotions was a little too much for her, and Naruto finally 'popping' the question was the final knockout punch,

'I will get strong enough so no one ever even looks at you funny ever again, Naruto. This I swear.' Unbeknownst to Naruto, the passed-out lady made a solemn vow to herself she intended to keep.

When she woke up, they talked about a lot of things. From what he had went through, to what she had gone through back at her clan. Naruto spoke about strength in the same way his friend Sakura had done before she left. Naruto comforted her and told her he was her family now. If they did not want her then he did, to which she passed out again.

When Guy returned, he explained things to him, to which he happily agreed to train her as well. She did not really care what style she was about to learn. To her, she was no longer the heiress to the clan so she no longer needed to prove herself to the clan, nor did she care about what they thought. Her only desire now was to get strong enough to beat down anyone that dared to harm her Naruto, even if her clan. That meant she needed to get very strong.

Just like that, months passed and both their strengths soared to terrifying heights. Especially Hinata.

[PRESENT DAY]

'Aah, no wonder she doesn't like me. After everything the other Sakura had done to Naruto, how can she like me. Shit Sakura. How are you still creating problems for me? That aside, what interests me is Guy. To think he became the younger brother of Might Guy instead; I think I remember reading a fanfic back on earth where Kakashi was the older brother instead. To think his personality is like this too. No, it is definitely different from the main anime. From the simple minded and straightforward type to this. Although he still does not seem calculative type, he is definitely smarter. Well, whatever. It does not really change what I have to do. It is a good thing I have gained strength this early.'

"So, you finally noticed her. That is good. I never knew you were so smooth." Naruto scratched the back of his head with a happy smile.

"Oh, that's right, you came just in time. We will be holding the graduation examinations in a week. Unfortunately, Guy said to return to the academy until the time of graduation. Wanna come?" There should be no harm. I really had nothing better to do till I got my hands on those jutsus, so pretending to be an academy student till then should not be a problem. Once I had my hand on them, I would leave for the upcoming three-month mission. I had a few things I needed to do outside and needed to start putting my plans in motion once I left.

"Sure. Why not." Naruto seemed please he could spend the day with another friend aside Shikamaru and Choji. Hinata was his girlfriend so he did not really count her as a 'friend'. We talked about a few things until Naruto bid farewell and left. I stood for a while before turning towards a direction.
