Chapter 42

[Sorry for the late chapter. I posted tomorrow's chapter as well since I might not be able to post early as well. So here are two chapters for today. Enjoy.]

"Oi Hinata, it's not like that." The couple began to have a lover's discussion so I let them be as I turned to the man that had been staring at me since I entered.

I walked to him with outstretched hand and introduced myself, "Haruno Sakura. Nice to meet you Guy-sensei.". In truth, I was absolutely geeking out inside. I actually wanted to scream out 'Kyaa'. This was the Man, the absolute shit (In an absolute good way, in case you did not catch that). The man that beat Uchiha Madara, in god mode so bad he acknowledged him as the greatest taijutsu expert. The Green Beast of Konoha, Might Guy.

'Ah, just this one time its fine if I 'kyaa' right? Just once is fine right?' He took my hand and shook it with slight confusion on his face. "You know me?"

"Of course! How can I not know the man oozing sensational youth? The greatest taijutsu master. The Green Beast of Konoha; Might Guy! I'm a huge fan." At this point, a bit of the suppressed geeking out seeped out a little with everyone watching, including old man Teuchi and his granddaughter Ayame.

"Haha. Young lady. To commemorate our youthful meeting, I give you this." Out of nowhere, he pulled out a green spandex which made me wonder exactly where he kept it.

"I absolutely refuse." I flat out rejected with a straight face. I would not be caught dead in that thing as a guy let alone now that I was a girl.

I sat on one of the benches besides Might guy before ordering one of each of what everyone was having. Even if I would not be able to eat, I would kill myself to devour it all. If I am ever able to return, I could brag about it. That is a big if.

"Sakura, I could not help but notice the headband you have there." Of course, he did. He had been staring at it the entire time.

"You like it? I was just promoted today." My words got the attention of Naruto who was just about done with his talk with Hinata. He turned to look at me with a surprised look. I gave him a wink and once again felt killing intent which made me roll my eyes.

"You really are amazing, Sakura. But I won't give up." Naruto spoke with determination.

'Of course, you won't. Who wear's plot armor as beautifully as you?' I could not help but chuckle at the thought.

"That is great. To celebrate, we will all do an extra five hundred laps around the village on our hands" I was sure he had more questions but decided not to pry.

"Haha. I absolutely refuse." There was no way I was doing that. 'Mm? Where is the other enthusiastic voice?' Looking beside Guy, I saw a frozen and blushing Rock Lee. The entire time, he had not said a single word. He had been staring at me the entire time without blinking.

He stood and walked towards me before speaking. "My name is Rock Lee. Let's go out together! I will protect you with my life!" Rock lee dropped one out of nowhere with a smile and a thumbs up.

'He actually said it exactly like in the anime. And did his smile just sparkle?'

"Again, I absolutely refuse! It seems I am refusing quite a lot today." Rock Lee immediately became dejected. Poor kid.

"Don't let it get to you, bushy eye brows. Sakura likes women instead." Naruto just decided to drop a bomb which shocked almost everyone present, including a blushing Ayame.

Looking at her I could not help but think she was cute and before I realized I was already over the counter pinching and rubbing her cheeks making her blush more.

"So how about it, Naruto. You want to show me how much you've grown this past year? You and your little girlfriend can show me what you've got." I ignored the depressed Lee and asked Naruto.

"Of course. Bring it on." He stood enthusiastically with one foot on the stool. I looked towards Might Guy who was consoling his precious student and said, "I hope Guy-sensei would come with us."

"Of course. Sounds good." He replied with his own sparkled smile. How are they doing that?

After walking for a while, we appeared at a large clearing. There were three logs inserted into the ground which looked like it had been attacked multiple times. There was also waterfall by the side. The place looked like where team Guy trained.

I walked to one of the logs and felt on it. If you looked carefully, you could barely see dried blood on it; It had been hit away but it was definitely there. This was testament to the hard work and perseverance the person put into their training.

I turned back to see Hinata had removed her kimono and was wearing a tight-fitting short sleeved mesh with the black covering her developed bosom, and had on a black tight short over black net legging.

'Was she wearing it underneath her kimono? Does everyone just wear their battle clothes under their attire?' I was quite amused. The Third Hokage was same. I had to admit, Hinata had really changed during the year. There more I looked at her, the more I was seeing a blossoming Hinata from 'A road to ninja'. She looked taller with nicely packed muscles. From the looks of it, her body was trained in a nicely balanced direction of strength and speed.

Turning to look at Naruto, I could easily tell he had changed as well. Looking at the callouses in his palms and knuckles; he must have practiced hard to strengthen his body over the year. He had grown taller and he no longer looked malnourished like he did before with a nicely toned body, and just like Hinata, it seemed he too had trained in the balanced direction of strength and speed. I looked at Guy who was standing a little bit away from us.

'Well, he was taught by Guy after all, so it makes sense for him to train towards both speed and strength. Now that makes Hinata all the more intriguing.'

"What are you doing all the way over there, Lee?" Rock Lee was visibly confused. Joining the fight had never been his intention. Maybe after their spar was over, he would have requested for one as well. He looked to Guy for confirmation, who nodded in approval. Before rock lee left, he saw a certain seriousness on the face of his sensei which made him confused and went on the alert.

He walked to stand beside Naruto and Hinata who had had their guard up since the beginning. Naruto had a serious expression on his face as the three of them began to whisper among themselves.

'Oh? I was quite sure Naruto would have begun to complain the moment I asked Lee to join them. He has not only grown physically, huh? Interesting.' I stood with my hands in my pocket, waiting for their little meeting to be over. I am such a generous person.
