...
Yamanaka Ino became terrified when inner Sakura grew in size and strength and threatened to show her terror if she did not leave her mind. That could mean that version of Sakura was probably gifted with genjutsu (Illusion) and strength with how large she grew, maybe even more.
That also meant Sakura had such a beautiful untapped gold mine and yet decided to waste time with her head in the clouds, even during the war, all she was thinking about was how Sasuke did not care about her. To the point where her 'Inner Me' was completely discarded during the entirety of the Shippuden arc. Maybe she did not need it anymore, or maybe, just maybe, it had slowly merged with her? Thinking about it from that angle, I got to experimenting, which led to the unstable merger I just made.
My body finally receded to its original form which made me wince slightly. I had cuts and bruises all over which began to slowly heal. Looking at the rate, it would take a few minutes to completely heal. That was how far I had come with medical ninjutsu. I had an extremely thin layer of medical chakra coated all over my skin and organs.
I would heal instantly from a paper cut and heal slowly from other heavy cuts like a sword or blade. Until I got the Nikutai Kassei no jutsu (Body revival technique) from Orochimaru, this was the limit of what I could do if I wanted my body to strengthen itself as it healed.
I came up with that technique a few months ago when I was experimenting with my lightning element. It was a passive and active jutsu I wanted to come up with. It began on the first month when I decided to allow my body get used to the lightning nature naturally. I messed up the first time and released too much lightning that my body could handle.
I passed out from the sudden electric shock and woke up after who knew how long. I had burn marks all over my body and with the way I was smelling scrumptious, I knew someone had come to protect me since I did not wake up in the stomach of some beast. She could have sent me back to the house or at least healed my wounds.
That aside, I had the right idea but the wrong execution. My intention was to temper my body and cells with the lightning. In other words, even if I converted all my chakra to lightning, I wanted my body to be able to handle it; Meaning my physical body would naturally withstand my lightning without having to coat my body with chakra to protect it. I assumed and/or realized the lightning users either coated their hands with slight chakra, or their hands eventually got used to that output of lightning.
I understood that when Sasuke received burn and scorch marks when he nullified Deidera's nano clay bombs by electrocuting himself. If the jutsu worked in anyway like I planned, then he would not have electrocuted himself. Then that raised the question of the lightning armor of the Raikages; Did they coat their entire bodies in a layer of chakra to help withstand the lightning? I assumed it was a yes and no, which explained why the Raikages were buff. Either way, I would have to take a visit to the Cloud to confirm.
The lightning was feeding and filling my cells with energies constantly, but at the same time it was destroying me; A double edged blade.
That is when I came up with the idea. Coat my outs and ins with a layer or medical chakra, enough to prevent the lightning from completely ripping me apart but enough to allow my body to get used to the lightning each time I raised the intensity.
After sitting crossed legged for a while, my wounds finally stabilized. I concentrated and entered my mindscape. The scape was divided in two. On one side, the entire floor was made out of beautiful clear marble. The entire space was extremely large. On the floor was a large circle with the Kanji for 'Seal' written in the middle. It was surrounded by ten other circles with each having a single line connecting to it. The circles were numbered one to ten and were connected to each other, with the tenth circle much closer to the middle circle compared to the rest. Sitting in the tenth circle was a young girl. The girl had pink hair, green eyes and a slightly wide forehead. That girl was the Inner Sakura.
After feeding Inner Sakura, well, best call her Inner Me, with my yin chakra for so long, she not only gained color, looking like the original me in the outside world, but she had some slight intelligent glow in her eyes. At first, I was worried the link might have broken, making her a separate personality like the others. Turned out I was worried for nothing; Concentrating, I could still 'feel' the connection.
Why was I worried? Because after she gained color and a little intelligence, she began to gather chakra towards herself until it was full. I did not know what was going on until some time ago when I was battling a chakra beast using ninjutsu only.
I noticed even after a long while my chakra was not reducing. Even with my chakra control, it felt off to me. After I entered my mindscape, I realized the chakra of inner me had halved and she was absorbing more. Nothing could contain my smile at that moment. This meant not only did I now have a reserve tank of chakra; I also did not have to personally meditate to absorb chakra ever again. It basically meant that the more I fought and reduced my own chakra reserves, the chakra Inner me had absorbed automatically refilled mine. In other words, my chakra would never deplete until Inner Me's chakra was depleted.
Best part, as my body grew and strengthened to accommodate more chakra, it would automatically be filled up. But that also meant I had to find a way constantly train my chakra control, and I do mean constantly.
"It is all coming together nicely." Looking at the seals the inner me sat in the middle off, I was very proud. To think back then it was nothing but terrible, gloomy purplish walls. The two halves of the mindscape were divided by an extremely large opaque glass. Looking at the silhouette of the huge structure behind the glass wall, I could not help but let out a smile.
"I can't wait to test out that baby." Looking around once more, I left my mindscape. Thinking about everything I had achieved, I began to let out a maniacal laugh, while unconsciously releasing killing intent, scaring away a few beasts.
"My road to OP. I truly can't wait." I picked myself from the floor and walked back to the house with the bear over my shoulder and a grin on my face. It was time for the mission.
