After Naruto came back from his meeting with Hagoromo, he immediately started to work on tge last few things he had to do in konoha

"Yin-Yang release:creation of all things is such a long name... I'll use YYR:COAT instead, since the name never mattered in using it, and I won't use it in public"

So using yyr:coat Naruto made 3 new gigais

'huum, my knowledge on creating gigais made it possible to create them directly... I wonder if I could create that Hogyoku thingy that captain Aizen used... no point in thinking that anyways, i have no clue how that tesseract wannabe works'

the 3 gigais were exactly like Naruto, and when the clones possesed them, Naruto sent them on a very dangerous mission: Exploring

You may think that this isn't dangerous, but every inch of the elemental nations is already mapped, so the only places were his clones can go are the ocean and the never mentioned before, other continents.

Naruto would not waste effort in this if he was sure he couldn't gain something out of it, who knows what is hidden in these continents? maybe he will find something to help him in the comming war.

"Now to the next thing. Otsutsuki chakra weapon" The way the Otsutsuki clab created this weapon technique still eluded Naruto, he had no clue. But one thing is certain, these weapons were chakra, pure and densely compressed chakra. of a purity only the Otsutsuki clan had.

Though, Naruto had a denser chakra and every moment since he fused Indra's and Ashura's chakras his chakra is getting purer and purer. He estimated that in 1-2 months his entire chakra reserves would completely turn into Otsutsuki level purity. After that the only way he could make his chakra stronger was to find a human sage mode, since his fox sage mode wasn't made for humans.

Back to the weapons though, Naruto could create it after studying Urashiki's fishing rod

'These weapons can shapeshift freely, so why did that idiot use a fishig rod?' questions that won't ever be answered plagued his mind.

An idea hit Naruto, what if... just what if he could use this Otsutsuki weapon to coat his chains? they were already almost unbreakable by themselves, and this weapons could give him unparalleled lethality with them. Food for thought

'Onto the planning phase then, we have 2 years... in these years i guess i will focus on my elemental control until it becomes instinctual, while helping Hinata, Karin and Ikki strengthen themselves... I should use some of my plot knowledge to do it, I could make so they solve some of the events that are relevant, Like the land of demons or Roran...

Roran... Ryumyakku(is it written like that?)... now that i am not Kurama's jinchurikki anylonger, I can use that guy from tge land of sky's jutsu to create an artificial bijuu... Using his flawed method, Ryumyakku's infinite chakra and yyr:coat... I could create a perfect bijuu for me.

Well that aside, I have one last thing to do in konoha, I should see if the Yamanaka clan can help me with that...'

"Yo, Ino" Naruto greeted as he entered the Yamanaka flower shop

"Naruto?" Ino asked, confused by the nit so commonly seen... screw that, never before saw customer

"I came here to ask somet- hey, when did you cut your hair?"

"Oh, that? I cut it when I was fighting Sakura in the chunnin exams..."

"Oh... sorry about that, I didn't really pay any attention when Sakura is fighting, she can make ANY fight boring..."

"...but we had a draw..."

"C'mon, you were aways stronger than her, she could only scratch a draw with you if her fangirl side developed to a second personality to fight off your clans mental jutsus" Naruto said in a jokingly tone

"..." Ino was speechless, she never really understood what happened during that fight, but now she had a good idea

"by the way Ino, let me tell you a secret"

"Do you know Iruka-sensei's big head jutsu?"

"yeah? what about it?"

"So, the thing is... Sakura once tried to copy it, but she didn't do it properly, so since then she invented the 'big forehead jutsu' instead" Naruto said with all the seriousness he could muster

to that, Ino could only awkwardly nod in understanding, She had asked her parents what a jinchurikki was after the forest of death incident, and didn't like the answer

"well, we do have a method, but I would need to ask my father for permission to tell you it..."

With that, Naruto turned to leave, but before he did, he turned around to say one last thing

"You should keep your hair like that btw, it looks pretty cute"

and with that, he was gone, some people could swear they hears an angry shout of 'get away from my daughter' followed by an embarrassed 'DAD' shout from somewhere, but their memories of it where strangelly blurry.

With the misunderstanding that Naruto definitely didn't make on purpose... definitely..., solved, Inoichi, Ino's father went to Naruto personally to tell him the technique he was after.

And Naruto, who already saw his future daughter, saw in the man, a fellow friend and with their ideas to protect their present/future daughter, both quickly became good friends, unexpected really

After Naruto organized his mindscape, which now was a library, a place he often spent a lot of time in his past life

His mindscape-self (is that a thing?) was reading every possible move, every strategy and every 20 moves ahead of what he and his opponent could do, his mind was working on max speed, he slowly moved his piece.

"Check-mate" Shikamaru said in a lazy tone, these last few days, Naruto who had zero experience playing shoji, showed him chess, a game in which Shikamaru's mind showed its brilliance as well, Naruto planned 20 steps ahead, but Shikamaru planned 100, truly a genius albeit a lazy one...

"...damn it, I lost again... you are truly something Shika, I could never win even when you didn't know the rules of the game" Naruto mumbled unsatisfied with the results, but as a 'not sore looser' that was around where he could get by playing games

"... I quite liked this game of... chess, was it? how did you came up with it?"

Naruto couldn't just say 'I remembered it from my past life, so before he presented it to someone he made some changes to the game, basically only the name of the pieces

"I based it on the current way ninja villages operate, the Kage is the principal piece, the second strongest ninja of the village is the piece with the 'strongest' movement, the gennins are numerous and mostly with limited uses, but can advanxe quickly under pressure, or in the board, croosing all the enemy frontlines, etc..."

"ai~... Shikaku san, I'm leaving, when Shika 'wakes up' tell him I said goodbye ok?" Naruto then began to leave as he had another perspn to visit before his trip

"Troublesome..." Naruto heard an lazy answer, immediately translating it from Nara language to a 'Sure thing' he went on his way, meanwhile Shikaku himself was deep in thoughts, not as deep as Shikamaru but still.

'...Why have i never thought of that?' was the question repeating on his mind time and time again

"Ya Lee, I see you managed to come back to the hospital one way or another huh? liked the place or what?" Naruto said jokingly as he enteres the hospital room where Lee was after his fight with Boney

"That's not it, I will triple my training to-"

"Did you forget what we talked about last time already?" Sternly asked Naruto

"... that was an... habit..." unconvincing answer

"sigh~ Just don't go crazy will ya? I came here to see how you were doing before i had to leave for my 'training' in some timr, since I don't know if you will be out of here by then"

Fiery green flames seemingly shot out of Lee's eyes

'what the-' was all Naruto thought

"SUCH YOUTH! As expected from you Naruto-kun! leaving the village for training, and for so long even, that is the spirit of YOUTH!" And it all made sense

"... Lee... I didn't even say for how long I am going to be there, how can you say 'for so long'?"

"... ah, ahaha..." Lee embarrassed, scratching the back of his head, avoided Naruto's gaze

"Sigh~ You are such an airhead..."

"..."

"well, I am going then, just wanted to see how you were doing, but since your youth is still burning, I guess you're fine..."

"...thank you..."

And like that, Naruto went off with a little smile on his face
