The Omen (Part 1/2)

Saber's aura rose as the coldness and indifference for life in his eyes also raised a few levels. The bodies of the beasts immediately thereafter began shaking once Saber's eyes gained this new outlook but, as Saber was about to continue his one-sided massacre...

A Few Moments Ago...

Boom!!

Saber's punch sent the last of the predators of this sea to its death as he was the only one remaining in his location with an intact body. Though he was covered in blood, none of it was his own.

Slowly, the blood disappeared since he was in the ocean. Thereafter, he prepared himself to adventure deeper into the ocean bed but, just as he was about to go deeper into the waters, he suddenly felt as if his warning bells were alerting him of something....something very dangerous to the current him!

Darting his attention toward his right, deep down in the depths of the waters, Saber saw the figure of what seemed to be a ship. It looked to be like an extremely large ship, well from the size, it was the only thing he could think of when situated underwater.

But, Saber was left shocked to the core when he saw the seemingly large ship begin moving toward his location. This action immediately sent him shivers as he instantly knew that he now needed to escape from his current location no matter what but...

But, just as turned around to leave, floating in the front of him was a gigantic one hundred meters long sea creature. Saber's mouth unintentionally formed an O shape after he realized that he was unable to sense how the creature reached its current location so fast.

*Roar*

An explosion that easily reached louder than Saber had ever heard then resounded in the waters. The waters churned and Saber along with many sea creatures were sent flying into the water bed of this ocean.

Explosions that were muffled because of being underwater resounded throughout the surrounding tens of kilometers. Saber who had barely regained consciousness was flabbergasted by the mere power from the beast roar which he had just heard.

His ears began leaking blood but, he was able to heal instantly. His strength also began to rise as he realized that he was about to break through to the Energy Gathering realm right here and now. He couldn't help but click his tongue in annoyance since he knew that this was more of a curse than a blessing.

'System, place all of my points in raising my strength!' He knew that reaching the next realm would usually take time, even if he was currently undergoing a breakthrough. But, with the Kill Points, he'll be able to increase the speed at which he breaks through almost instantly.

The massive one hundred meter beast had eyes that spanned five meters each. These eyes watched Saber's body with interest since they realized that Saber's aura and strength were undergoing rapid increases.

Saber on the other hand felt as if lightning was running rampant inside of his body. He felt as if his very cells were being destroyed and then rebuild ten times quicker than usual. The speed his cells die only increased the longer his body was transforming to becoming an Energy Gathering lifeform.

Boom!!

A mini explosion resounded from his body as he was surrounded by a white glow. His eyes opened, revealing a white flash of light as the surrounding sea creatures who were lucky to live suddenly felt as if death knocked on their door once more.

Saber felt the massive increase in strength, and for a moment, he entered a mild state of euphoria. His veins which were now filled with power were bulging throughout his whole body as his muscles became even more defined. His skin also seemed to have turned a shade darker than previously, yet he was still extremely pale-looking compared to other humanoid species.

His cells felt as if they were filled with strength and vitality as he could only give out a smile thanks to his newfound power but...

As I said before, it was for only a mere moment did Saber enter this state of euphoria as thereafter, the situation he was currently in brought him down to earth. Looking toward the beast once again, Saber could not help but take a few tens of steps back, appearing hundreds of meters away from it.

His eyes contained traces of shock and fear, as clearly for the first time in his life, Saber felt as if he was in a situation where death was inevitable. Now that he was a lifeform in the Energy Gathering realm, he was finally able to grasp the energy contained in the body of the one-hundred-meter monster in front of him.

In Saber's eyes, the body of the beast was covered in a pure and immense amount of white energy that gave him shivers up his spine. And, just as he was about to try and dash in the opposite direction of the beast once again, the monster's body appeared in front of him in under a second.

*Boom*

An exaggerated explosion occurred as the body of Saber was sent flying. His both legs and arms were instantly destroyed by a tentacle of white energy which came from the beast as the last thing Saber thought before losing consciousness was.

"Impossible! That power and speed, being able to manipulate energy outside of its body... it's already in the Energy Maneuvering realm!!'

Saber thought while being sent toward the ocean bed. His momentum from the attack was so incredible that he formed a ten-meter crater on the ocean bed. His body was blasted into the floor of the ocean as the remaining living creatures were killed by the mere impact of the explosion between Saber's body and the ocean floor.

Not even a second later...

In a fluffy gathering of clouds, sitting on top of a throne made up of said clouds, one can see the figure of Zeno as he watched the sight of Saber in the sea with an extremely worried look on his face.

Saber was currently in a horrible situation as his body lay lifelessly in the water as a massive hundred-meter figure was about to swallow him up. But, just as his body was about to be swallowed, the waters churned as a massive explosion happened.

"HUH??!!!"

Zeno shouted as his face which was filled with worry suddenly only showcased shock and disbelief. Thereafter, he immediately stood up as the screen disappeared in front of him while he watched the black sun hovering over his head with a smile on his face.

"Hahaha, it seems the prophecy truly is correct!" He shouted out as thereafter his figure disappeared and then reappeared in a different location. In front of him was an unbelievably massive gate that seemed to have no end and reached even past the skies.

Zeno's eyes glowed with an uncountable number of dotted lights while he said.

"The master is definitely the one spoken in the prophecy, with that in mind, he needs someone who can bring the best out of him. He needs someone who'll serve him for quite some time and this is why these people have to die!" He said, his eyes shone dangerously as another bloodbath was about to take place, all for the sake of Saber.
