"Yo, Spidey. You free?"
"Nope. Working."
"When are you gonna be free then? Huh? Huh?! Tell me?!"
"I don't know. It's hard to say. Hmm, let me see. I just finished the circuits for the nanobots and have finished upgrading them using the adamantium-alloy we developed after you guys raided our old pal Stryker's base. By the way, he is in Russia and I believe it's related to Logan's daughter, so all the more reasons to rush this."
"Uh-huh."
"Anyways, as I was saying the development is in the very final stage. I have to finish up the AI have to add finishing touches before I link it up with NM-PY2 before I implant them into my brain-"
"Wait! Is that even safe? What if the metal reacts badly-ah! Right, your fucking golden body!"
"Duh."
"Ahhh! Life is so unfair!"
"The heck you crying over you fucking immortal man-child."
"Fuck you, Pete!"
"Eww, don't let your girl hear that Wade. Haha."
"Well, whatever. So how long-"
"As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted by the least subtle ninja wannabe-"
"Hey!"
"-that's thirty-two more hours of work. So, that's two more days."
"Arghhh! That's not fucking happening!" Wade said as grabbed Peter by his shoulder and spun him around on his chair. "We are gonna go out for a boy's day out today! And I won't take no for an answer!"
"The fuck dude!" Peter groaned as Wade grabbed his hand and began dragging him towards the exit. "Agh! I don't wanna go! I'm almost done! Come one you shit-mouthed asshole! I'm this close! This-"
"Not happening, Web-Butt." Wade grinned as he waltzed out of the door in big, merry strides while dragging Peter behind. "I already have the whole day plan!"
"I told Frank to tighten your leash! Where is that burly emo-"
"Yo, Frank agreed with me on this one."
"What-"
"Yep, yep, yep. I finally got him to agree with me on something after so long. I did good right? Hehe, I'm quite proud of it-"
"Stop lying out of your ass-" Peter's words died in his throat when he saw Frank leaning onto a black pick-up truck with a soft smile on his face. Frank brightened up when he was Peter and Wade coming toward him.
"Hey, Pete-" Frank greeted with a smile which quickly turned awkward when he was the look of horror on Peter's face. "W-What?"
"Eryl, how to know if one is awake or asleep, trapped in a blissful sleep?"
"Well, there are multiple ways to check but the most efficient would be through pain."
"Aye. Wade... Punch me in the face."
"Roger that! Hayyah-Ahhhhh!"
"Na-ah. Nothing, I should wait until I wake up-"
"Y-You monster! My hand-"
"Peter... Please don't tease me like that." Frank said sheepishly as he scratched his cheek.
"There is no way you are the Frank Castle I know." Peter narrated in a monotone as his blank eyes looked at Frank's uncomfortable face. "I can understand personality development but this... This change is too much. Frank Castle, smiling?"
"Well, you did heal me and Lisa so, it's a good reason for the drastic development don't you think, Pete?" A new voice called out. A woman wearing a sundress stepped out of the driver's seat. She smiled at the three men as she leaned on the roof of the vehicle. "Also, please don't tease Frank. Any more and my husband would burst, haha."
"Hey, Maria. I thought I told you to rest?" Peter waved at her politely. "Also, I think your husband got abducted by aliens and replaced by... Whatever this is-"
"Hey!"
"Awww, don't be like that." Maria giggled looking at the bickering pair of Peter and Frank with a bright smile. "Also, I got plenty of rest already. Plus, Dr Susan and Dr Cho have already given me a green card. Also, Lisa was getting restless."
"She's here-"
"Peter!" A little girl who the carbon copy of Frank popped out from behind him with her hands out. "Boo!"
"Gyah! You scared me you little squirrel~" Peter faked a scared expression before he grinned and patted the girl on the head.
"Tee-hee~ Ah! Come on, come on! We are getting late!"
"Wait-Where are we going-Wait-Are you going come too?"
"Come on, now. We are going to Maria's hometown. She wants to meet up with her folks. Also, Maria is driving" Frank smiled as he got into the car while Maria gave him a peace sign. "Anyways, I'll ride shotgun while you take Lisa and sit behind with Wade. The road might get a bit bumpy but I think the mighty Spider-Man can endure this at least."
Frank laughed while Maria giggled at Peter's annoyed expression.
"Yo emo, don't push your luck." Peter groaned turning to Wade. "I thought you did it was-"
"Boys' day out-"
"Well, then what happened to that-"
"With one of the boy's wife and his wittle, wittle daughter." Wade cupped his own cheeks as he innocently fluttered his eyelashes at Peter. "Apparently you didn't hear the last part-"
"Yeah, cause you fucking didn't say it."
"Fucking language, boys." Lisa butted in with a stern look on her face while Maria choked on the water she was drinking.
"L-Lisa! What did you say, young lady?!"
"Hahaha!" Peter burst into laughter with Wade and Lisa following him. Shaking his head, Peter smiled to himself as he took a deep breath in.
"Alright then, let's go~"
------
"So, what how far is Maria's hometown?" Peter asked as he sipped on his cold drink. Sitting beside him in the pickup was Wade and Lisa had taken his lap as her seat. Looking at the happy girl Peter smiled to himself.
"Well, it's far. We will reach the town in one hour more give or take approximately." Frank replied from ahead and Peter grimaced.
"Ugh... You should have told me before I would have asked Eryl to open the ground bridge-"
"Na-ah! Now that would just spoil the experience!" Wade butted in as he put his arms over Peter's shoulder. "And what's the hurry? I've already informed your ladies so there's nothing for you to be worried about, ya know?"
"Well, I know that it's just... That my research-"
"Listen here you maniac! You were fine a few moments ago and looked ready to let loose-"
"That was an hour ago!"
"-so just do that. Forget about all your nefarious plans and take a moment to breathe in." Wade grinned. Peter opened his mouth to argue but decided it was best to conserve his energy since he knew he wasn't going to win this battle. "Good. Yo, Franky boy! Play some music for the man of the day!"
"This... This is the last time you are calling me that ever." Frank growled as his Maria giggled.
"Whatever you say Franky boy, sure." Wade just shrugged as Maria and Lisa burst into laughter.
Frank shook his head with a small smile as he turned on the car radio. Frank's smile widened as he heard a familiar beat. "Hey, Pete. You know this song right?"
"Of course, I do." Peter scoffed as he began nodding and began to move animatedly to the rhythm of the song to entertain Lisa. "Yeah, I can't do these long drives sittin' in the back seat, Thinkin' 'bout that one night when the world caught fire, baby~"
"And your eyes brightened up this dark scene, You told me I would be fine, I called you a liar~"
Time flew by as Peter, Wade and Lisa sang to the radio and before they knew it, they arrived at Greenport. As Maria parked the car in front of her parent's house, Peter jumped off the truck and stretched a bit before he helped Lisa get off the truck as well.
"Thanks, big bro." Lisa smiled widely as Peter ruffled her hair.
"Anytime, squirrel."
"Fucking finally!" Wade yelled stretching his arms paying no attention to the weird looks he was getting from the neighbours. Maria just waved at them with a strained smile while Frank did the same but his smile seemed to have scared off the neighbours. "Ah! My butt almost fell asleep! Peter, can you please wake it up with a spa-"
Peter slapped Wade across the face in a nonchalant manner sending him to the ground which amused Lisa.
"Uncle Wade is weird." Lisa giggle as Peter picked her up.
"Yes, he is." Peter nodded wholeheartedly.
"Also, Big bro is really strong!"
"Yes, he is." Peter definitely agrees wholeheartedly with this one. "Haha. Anyways, let's go meet your elders."
"Hello, good day to you. Sir, ma'am." Peter greeted politely as he looked at the kind-looking elderly couple in front of him. "I am Peter Parker and this is my friend Wade Wilson. I-"
"It's an honour to meet you, Sir." The older man gripped Peter's extended hand firmly with a grateful look as he shook it. "I am Lisa's grandfather. Please call me George but I would prefer if you called me pa."
"Then please just call me Peter." Peter smiled back.
"I have heard a lot from my son and I can't thank you enough for what you have done for my son, my daughter... For us. Tell me how can I ever repay your favour." George was almost moved to tears. Peter patted his shoulders as Lisa hugged his leg.
(A/N: In case if you are confused, by son he means son-in-law. Some people call their in-laws son or daughter instead of adding the 'in-law' as a suffix.)
"I hope it's only the good things and please don't worry about it. Your son isn't just my employee but also a close friend of mine." Peter smiled sincerely. "This is but my duty as his friend."
"Thank you, thank you." In the end, Peter could only smile. After George has calmed down, he along with his wife Carolina escorted Peter to the living room where all were seated.
Frank's whole family was complete after a long while. The reunion brought a myriad of emotions from the people involved. They shared giggles and tears together while Peter watched them interact quitely from the sides with a small smile on his face.
"You seem happy." Wade stated as he looked at the content-looking Peter who was resting his chin on his palm for support.
"I am." Peter replied shortly. "For some reason, this... In front of me. It makes me very happy."
Wade stared at Peter for a brief moment before he leaned back into his seat with a small smile of his own.
"Hey..." Wade began.
"Yeah?"
"You know, you are a good person."
"Huh?"
"I know, the world says you are a monster. A bad guy, the personification of evil and all that shit and I know sometimes you believe it too but that's not the case."
"..."
"You are not a monster. And even if you are a monster, I believe you are a necessary one but that's the least that matters. Most of all, you are my best best friend."
"..."
"You saved me when I had no one and nothing to turn to but you still helped me. Helped me get where I am now and I will always be grateful for that." Wade smiled to himself. "Thanks to you, I am leading a fulfilling life. I have a stable source of income, I still get to enjoy my hobby and I have a beautiful fiancee but the best of all... Because of you, I am not a red ball-sack face."
"Hahaha!" Peter burst into laughter as Wade grinned to himself.
"Hey, Pete?"
"Haha... Yeah?"
"From the bottom of my rotten heart... thank you."
"Mmhmm." Peter was happy.
"... Hey! Frank said there is a good pub nearby, I know you don't drink so let's go to a restaurant first. Apparently, this town is famous for its seafood. I bed it's fucking delicious!"
"Well, I am craving some prawns and oysters I guess-"
"It's decided then~ Let's go eat first and then you can just seat with us at the pub, ya know." Wade declared as Peter nodded in agreement. "By the way, Frank and I, are having a drinking competition! The one who loses will be the winner's subordinate for a month and I want you to be the fair judge! Can you do that for me? Pretty please?*
"Sure."
"Yes~ My besto friendo~"
"..."
"By the way..."
"Yeah?"
"Frank knows that you can't get drunk, right?"
"..."
"..."
"Shhh. I don't know what you are talking about. Now, shhhh."
"Hahaha! Thought so!"

Hello from the other side~~
Anyways, there you go.
Nothing much happened in this chap, cause I went the slice-of-life route in this chapter. I planned to do a bro's day out chapter but I had planned it after the NY Invasion arc. But I decided to do it early because I saw someone's comment that they should hang together and I thought it was fair. So, this is it for today.
Let me know if you liked it. Also, something big is going to happen in the next chapter.
Can you guess what?
Anyways, I will see you in the next one.
Bye.
P.S.: Also, can somebody explain to me what SCP is and what SCP monsters are?
