Chatper 1 : God?

Prologue: Death

For centuries, Death had silently observed the world, watching it evolve across the ages and witnessing the transformations within the wizarding realm. Once, Death had been an integral part of this world, leaving behind three relics, each intended for a successor.

These three relics found their way into the hands of three distinct individuals, each driven by their unique desires. These were the same individuals who had managed to cheat their destined fates, eluding Death's grasp. Yet, their apparent defiance was not the end of their tale.

In a twist of fate, Death intervened just as they believed they had escaped their preordained destinies, offering them three artifacts that aligned with their deepest desires. Death commended them for sidestepping their impending doom and presented them with a choice.

The eldest of the trio stepped forward, seeking a wand that would make him invincible in combat. Death plucked a twig from the Elder Tree and gifted it to him—a wand that would later become known as the Elder Wand.

The second brother, motivated by grief over the loss of a loved one, sought something that would grant him power over Death itself. Death bestowed upon him a river stone, which, in accordance with their agreement, transformed into the Resurrection Stone.

The third brother, perceptive enough to sense something amiss in Death's intentions, requested an item that would help him evade Death altogether. Recognizing his insight, Death ensnared him and granted him the Cloak of Invisibility.

The three brothers went their separate ways, embarking on individual journeys.

Time passed—an indeterminate amount of it.

The first brother, fueled by arrogance, provoked a duel with a despised adversary, boasted of his invincibility, and met his demise at the hands of an opportunistic assailant coveting his wand.

The second brother, seeking solace, resurrected his lost love using the Resurrection Stone, only to discover that she found happiness in death. Overwhelmed by his misery, he ended his life to reunite with her.

The third brother, wielding his Cloak of Invisibility, eluded Death's pursuit throughout his lifetime. Upon reaching old age, he relinquished the cloak to his son and, for the first time, confronted Death as equals, departing as friends.

These artifacts, bestowed upon the Peverell brothers, would become known as the Deathly Hallows.

Death continued to watch the passage of time alongside his newfound friend, observing the potential successors of his role dwindle. As the Battle of Hogwarts neared its climax, Death's last glimmer of hope rested upon Harry Potter as a potential successor.

Yet, in a startling turn of events, Harry Potter shattered the Elder Wand—a decision unforeseen by Death himself. Disheartened, Death lost faith in this timeline and forged an alternate universe.

Creating this new universe was not enough. Death required a variable, something that would guarantee the success of his successor plan. He sought counsel from his sole friend.

Death inquired about his friend's universe, learning that it had evolved without the presence of magic, relying on intellect and technology. Remarkably, this world achieved worldwide peace.

Intrigued by the contrast with the wizarding world, Death sought to introduce a similar element. Three souls, eerily reminiscent of the Peverell brothers, had recently perished in this world. Death requested their transfer to his new alternate universe, with the promise that two of them would be dispatched to other worlds within this universe.

Informed by his friend, Death returned to the newly created universe, his curiosity piqued. Using one of the souls as a variable, he began to mold the world to fit his design.

Death touched the soul, delving into its memories, and discovered a familiarity with the wizarding world. This knowledge proved advantageous, as Death could skip the cumbersome task of implanting memories. With the information gleaned from the soul's memories, Death fashioned a system to guide the soul's development.

Upon completion, Death gifted the soul with a "novice gift pack," and the soul was now equipped with the system, unaware of its true purpose. This would serve as a means of instilling hope, allowing communication with the other two souls who were kept by Death.

To seamlessly integrate the soul into the wizarding world, Death decided to grant it an identity. He chose to place the soul as the inheritor of Salazar Slytherin's pure-blood bloodline, part of a noble family in this new world.

With the soul's appearance and identity crafted, it was time for it to embark on its journey within the wizarding realm—a journey that would shape the destiny of both the soul and the world it now inhabited.

And thus, the tale begins...
