Side Story 30: Civil War And Amazon Lily

After the debacle in the central plaza in which the Astraea familia was doing a charity event that went wrong. They took Valletta away and interrogated her for information.

They learned that Evilus were actually attacking the factories to mass produce bombs. A meeting was immediately called and Valletta was guarded by 2nd class adventurers for now.

Loki, Freya, Ganesha, and Astraea were now together for this emergency. Representatives of the guild also came. "We've got some bad news, we now know why Evilus were raiding magic stone factories for their mortars. They are producing bombs en masse, you know what that means." Loki started the meeting with a heavy implication.

"Tch, they most probably have a lot of explosives. Waiting to be used on adventurers and the populace alike." Ganesha frowned heavily and clenched his fists.

"Ottar has also informed me that they have a possible level 6 adventurer in their midst. That is a greater cause for concern. As you all know, Ottar is the only level 6 in Orario." Freya sighed and thought this will be quite troublesome.

"Everyone, sorry to interrupt as well. But at our raid in a church where Evilus kept branches of the holy tree. We met a woman there that dispatched the members of Evilus. We tried making her go with us, but she incapacitated us all without a sweat. I am confident that a level 5 cannot do that, especially because I am at the peak of level 4." Shakti told them about their little scuffle with Alfia.

"So there's probably two level 6 adventurers with them... We need to prepare for them, our group can handle the other one while Ottar can deal with the other." Riveria announced.

"Another thing, thanks to the Hermes familia. We now know 3 major bases of Evilus. We need to raid them immediately before they can unleash their bombs on us. Thanks to the executive that the honkai familia captured, we can possibly foil their plans." Finn took out a map and pointed at the places where Evilus resided.

Astraea and her familia frowned when they heard the name of that familia. It was a memory that they wanted to forget. The blood cuddling screams, evisceration, immolation, dismemberments. And the civilians screamed for more.

Loki and Freya were assigned one base because they were the stronger familias while Astraea and Ganesha would work together for the last one.

It was decided and the meeting was quickly adjourned. They had no idea who were the supposed level 6's were anyways. So they went back to their residences to prepare for their excursion.

But there was actually a spy in the guild. And their and were disseminated in Evilus. Which was all part of their plan as well, it was a coincidence that Valletta was captured. But the Astraea familia also made the mistake of leaving her to 2nd class adventurers. As she defeated them quite easily even though she was injured, escaping from their clutches.

Before the operation, Ryuu absentmindedly patrolled Orario. She was thinking about Erebus' question to them on what was their justice. And she thought it was unacceptable to have no clear definition of the topic when she was a member of the Astraea familia.

She then bumped into Ardi who was talking to Tora and Haku. The kemonomimi duo of the Honkai familia. They were just minding their own business and looked for more Evilus members with their sharp senses while eating some skewers when they met Ardi.

The lovable girl was quite the extrovert and asked for one of their skewers. She then popped a question that was really bold of her. "Hey, can I possibly touch your ears and tails?" Ardi saw their cute and hypnotic animal features. And as a lover of cute things, she couldn't resist.

Tora and Haku never got this question from someone before. Their father just touched their ears and caressed their tail whenever they would cling to him for attention. But nobody ever asked to touch them.

"Well, why not? We kinda like you, you're a pretty swell gal." Tora replied and just elongated her tail. Wrapping Ardi's torso with it as she felt her super soft fur.

Haku then hit her face lightly with her fluffy, pink tail. Ardi then caressed her fox ears with a loose grin on her face as she sniffed their tails. "Guhehehe~ This is nice..." Ardi was getting high from the mofu mofu.

"Ardi..." Ryuu called out as she knew that those girls were very dangerous and volatile. She saw Tora pierce Valletta with her bare hands after all. And her tail can sprout a three pronged spear that can brutally skewer people.

"Ohhh? It's that blonde elf from that brunette god's familia. Want a skewer?" Tora offered as she munched on some like a cute cat. Her ears twitching from the deliciousness.

Ryuu couldn't believe it, Tora just looked like a very beautiful cat person that looked harmless. Not a brutal murder machine.

Tora and Haku then went on their merry way as Ryuu stared at Ardi that was still giggling like an idiot.

At the day of the operation, Finn had a bad feeling. But they needed to go with the operation and eradicate Evilus. They have been terrorizing Orario for too long.

So each group went to the supposed bases of Evilus. At the Astraea and Ganesha familia group, they encountered Valletta that was now healed up nicely.

"Valletta Grede... So you have escaped, surrender now. This place is surrounded and you have no way to escape now." Shakti announced confidently, the Astraea familia and Ganesha familia has the perimeter secured after all.

"Hehehe~ tough luck, you might have this place surrounded. But I have some very eager subordinates you see?" Valletta chuckled and members of Evilus started pouring out of secret passages.

They then pressed the attack and it was a free for all immediately. Valletta laughed as she fought with Shakti. They were evenly matched, making Shakti frown heavily as she saw that more and more Evilus members popped out.

"Can't do anything without those monsters around can't ya? Kekeke~" Valletta brandished her sword and tried slicing Shakti.

"Tch, we don't need them. We'll handle Evilus by ourselves. Besides, you aren't fully healed are you? You'll be defeated by us soon." Shakti noticed that the woman was still a bit unsteady. Nobody can recover from the kind of injury she received that quickly after all. Even with elixirs and magic healing.

"Hoh? Such confident words when you're in exploding distance." Valletta gestured a signal and Shakti squinted her eyes. But she then saw some of the Evilus members wearing a vest. She had a bad feeling and remembered what they were preparing, bombs.

"Suicide bombers! Get the hell out of here immediately!" Shakti shouted out in urgency.

Meanwhile, her sister Ardi saw a little girl that was a part of Evilus' forces. The kind hearted Ardi frowned and went close to the girl.

"Hey little girl, why are you here? You shouldn't be here. Come on, let's go and get you out of here." Ardi smiled at the girl as she went closer. But the girl suddenly pulled out a cursed knife and stabbed her on the chest.

Ardi looked at her chest and she coughed up blood after a few seconds. And even though she was a level 3, Ardi succumbed to the fatal injury and cursed weapon. Dropping on the ground as Shakti and Ryuu saw the blue haired girl apparently die.

"Nooo! Ardi!" Ryuu mowed down the enemies on the path to her good friend Ardi. But before she could arrive, explosions started to go off as Valletta cackled madly.

"That's just the start~ I hope you like the fireworks display that we will be showing you here in Orario." Valletta smirked and left the vicinity as the Ganesha familia received multiple casualties from the suicide bombers.

They weren't like Astraea familia that were a concentration of elites after all. Shakti and Alise then noticed that explosions were also happening outside of the place.

"We have to go, Ryuu! This place will crumble!" Kaguya pulled Ryuu that was struggling violently to get Ardi. "No! Ardi's still there! I need to save her! I have healing magic! I can save her!" Ryuu stubbornly tried to go to Ardi. She had healing magic Noah heal. But it was a relatively weak healing magic that could just accelerate the innate healing properties of people.

"Ryuu! Shut up and let's go!" Alise hit her on the face, making her sober up as Ryuu saw the members of Ganesha familia get killed by suicide bombers and her other team mates were trying hard to keep them at bay because Ryuu was in denial.

The elf gritted her teeth so hard that they seemed that they will shatter. The remaining members of the raid group then quickly went out of the hideout and they saw Orario burst into flames from multiple places at once.

Finn knew that his hunch was right once again. And the true target was apparently Orario. They quickly killed off the members of Evilus that was trying to blow them up and tried saving as many people as they can.

But they had a limited amount of adventurers. The various familias that helped with this operation died due to Evilus' suicide bombers and many civilians also perished.

The adventurers also started to lose morale. "Don't lose hope! Barricade the central plaza and set up a base there! Evacuate as many people as you can!" Astraea gave orders. Finn thought it was a good idea and they quickly moved to the central plaza to make a fortification.

"Send a message to the Ishtar familia and Tsubaki! We need all the help we can get! Ignite their bombs with magic swords that we will get from the Hephaestus familia!" Finn barked orders and their base quickly got made.

'This is bad, we can win with the forces we have. Their numbers must be dwindling, but I still can't shake off this bad feeling.' Finn still felt his thumb tremble and he knew that things weren't going to be so easy.

And after a few minutes, he was right again. As one of their 2nd class adventurers Raul. Reported that the forces at the southwest were swiftly taken care of.

"But that's where the Freya familia are. Don't tell me!?" Finn was shocked and Raul nodded with a frown. "A man with a greatsword and a female mage appeared. They made short work of the adventurers in the southwest captain."

At the southwest where the Freya familia was handling their raid there. Allen Fromel, one of Freya's executives swung his spear with all his might against a man wearing full plate armor.

But he blocked the cat guy's blow like a kid just swung a stick at him. "Tch, you're strong. Who the hell are you!?" Allen got frustrated as he was a level 5. Meaning that his enemy must be level 6 or higher.

Ottar arrived at the scene after taking care of the mobs of Evilus and he was shocked when he saw the man. "Allen... Go to Freya-sama... Quickly." Ottar ordered with a sense of urgency in his voice.

"Huh!? What the hell are you talking about Ottar!? We can beat this guy quickly. But I need to work with you, tch." Allen protested and hated to admit that he needed Ottar's coordination to beat the guy.

"Go! Quickly! I will handle this." Ottar brandished his swords and Allen was surprised at Ottar's behavior. He then knew something was up and was worried about his goddess as well. So he went to where Freya was.

"Why are you here, gluttony. Zald." Ottar squinted his eyes and was anxious. Ottar knew who he was after all, the level 7 adventurer of the Zeus familia. Zald.

He was an executive of the Zeus familia and is rumored to be able to match their captain, Maxim who was a level 8.

"Hmph, it's because you people are weak." Zald pointed his sword at Ottar and he scoffed at the Boaz man's false courage.

Meanwhile, Riveria and Gareth was sent as support and they saw a hooded woman block their way.

"Who are you?" Riveria was prepared to cast her spells, having a bad feeling from the woman. She had an oppressing aura that made her skin crawl.

"That is none of your business, nine hell. Now let me see how deserving you are of your epithet?" Alfia just stood there and Riveria that was concurrently chanting released her magic.

"Harbinger of the end, the white snow. Blow with the wind before the twilight. Closing light, the freezing land. Blizzard, the three severe winters. My name is Alf! Wynn Fimbulvetr!" Riveria chanted and released terrible cold that froze the area.

But when it hit Alfia, it just disappeared like a wisp of smoke. Her Silentium Eden that was always active disassembled her magic without difficulty.

Gareth immediately knew that they were at a disadvantage and was going to give Riveria time to cast another spell. Charging at Alfia as the Loki familia's tank.

Alfia snorted and used her magic. It hit Gareth right on the money and his bones shattered as he flew away from the violent shockwave.

"That magic! Alfia of the Hera familia!?" Riveria shouted out in utter shock. Riveria is a scholar that studies magic. And she knew that the magic was Alfia's.

"Why!? You're part of the Hera familia. You guys defeated the Leviathan and the Behemoth... You're protectors of Orario." Riveria was dumbfounded.

"It is simple, if you are part of the new generation that will be the ones that go on the quest to fulfill the promise. Then you will fail and doom the world. And such disappointments need some upgrades." Alfia said condescendingly.

She then dashed to Riveria and slugged her right on the face. Knocking her out as she felt the world go black. Her brain rattling inside of her skull. Alfia wasn't just a mage after all, she was also a part of the vanguard. The monster of talent that could fight in close combat while unleashing her magic.

And at the side of Ottar, he was being beaten up by Zald as well. "You dissapoint me Ottar. They call you the king, but you are just a peasant in front of true power." Zald kicked Ottar and knew that they would just be fodder against the black dragon.

Allen retrieved Ottar as the cat guy was actually watching what transpired and Asfi that was supposed to be support saved Riveria and Gareth as Alfia and Zald left them on the ground.

At the central plaza near Babel. Alise and her other team mates helped to establish the fortification there. But she had a bad feeling, so she quickly looked for her goddess and sighed in relief as Astraea was fine.

"But this is weird. Who is the god responsible for this? It is too perfect for a single mortal. And Evilus doesn't have a person that is this influential." Hermes wondered and they saw a god walk up to them.

"Hehe~ do you like the show that we have given?" It was Eren, the god of evil Erebus that pretended to be an average Joe.

"Witness what we have prepared. This will be quite entertaining." Erebus smiled and raised his hands. Nine pillars of light then shone, signifying that 9 gods have been sent back to heaven. Leaving tons of people helpless as they lost their falna.

"Eren-sama?" Ryuu looked at Erebus with shock. Remembering that the man was the one who asked her what justice was.

"Hehe~ as the absolute evil that will spread chaos and disorder. We will take down Orario, please do enjoy our little gift to you." Erebus bowed with a smirk on his face.

And Erebus was correct, anarchy and chaos thrived as the people of Orario flooded the gates to escape from the city. But Evilus actually set up there and threw bombs at them. Preventing escape, also preventing people from within to call for support from outside.

"Loki... This isn't good, we can't let more people go to the gates. People are dying and we need them in the central plaza." Finn frowned and Loki nodded.

"The citizens might oppose us for this. But that's the right decision, gather our forces and evacuate as many people to the central plaza as possible. Rope in adventurers that are able bodied as well, we need all the help we can get." Loki sighed and started drinking her gift that she got from the girls.

"Loki, shouldn't we ask help from Ein-sama? His familia is strong, scarily strong." Riveria thought about the members of the honkai familia that incapacitated a group of Evilus just to execute them for a show.

"Hah, Riveria. Do you really think they'll just agree and nod? Say, oh we are glad to help." Loki rolled her eyes at the stupid question of the normally smart Elf.

Riveria blushed in embarrassment and shut up. They were too volatile, Ein's familia were the type to do whatever the hell they want. They already knew this just with their short stay in Orario. But Finn suddenly had an idea as he facepalmed hard.

"Loki... Can we gather the people to the sky corridor?" Finn felt like he was stupid and asked the question. The sky corridor was a never before seen fortress that looked like it could weather apocalyptic situations. And the guard in front of its gates was something that nobody wants to mess with.

Loki also facepalmed and ordered them to scout the sky corridor and try to make contact with the owners immediately. They found out that as expected, it was devoid of life. Evilus didn't even want to try and show themselves to the tower that pierced the heavens.

And inside the tower, the girls were actually inviting people to come in for refuge. Thinking that they'll surely have new customers later when they take care of Evilus.

Flyers were being sent by Tora, Izumi, Haku, Akira, and Laplace. With the physically inclined jumping all over the place like ninjas as they threw their advertisement. Laplace sent drones and they dumped the flyers above Orario.

The people then saw that the sky corridor was housing refugees from Evilus. And one by one, the intimidated populace that was desperate for safety and shelter came to the tower.

"Step right up folks, we'll give you a nice place for shelter. We'll also give you some warm food and clothes, step right up. Just don't forget to vote us in the elections!" Vesta attracted more refugees and the people were confused about her words.

"Kekeke~ Look at all the prospective customers of our familias. They'll be eating at the palm of our hands after this is over." Vesta rubbed her hands like a dirty little politician.

Tora was also beside her after giving away the flyers. "Right? Look at them. They'll be really thankful, and we'll go in for the kill as we drain Orario's residents of its money nya. Kukuku~" Tora and Vesta laughed like a maniac as they already thought of the profits and political power they'll make.

"Ahhh, I sure have raised them well." Ein shed a tear as he saw how his children will take over Orario in a storm after the debacle with Evilus was done. And he only gave them some materials, as well as Demeter's help.

"Thank you very much Ein-sama! You and your familia are the saviors of the people in these trying times!" The people were so thankful and they just smiled and waved.

Giving them shelter and food were so easy. But they were going to receive reputation that will bolster their popularity with the people of Orario to the maximum. Jotted down in history books as the familia that saved majority of the people. Kind and magnanimous people.

Meanwhile, the Loki familia received reports that the industrial district that was quite a distance away from the sky corridor got attacked by Evilus.

They were migrating in great numbers, travelling to the sky corridor. Raul reported this to the familia and Gareth volunteered to be the support.

"Don't worry about it Gareth, Riveria has actually already went to the industrial district. Ais is also there right now." Finn told him to rest for now.

"Are you sure? Riveria hasn't recovered yet. Aren't you being too hard on her?" Gareth asked as he was quite worried. Riveria was a mage, and they were more suited for the back line. Even though she was level 5, she could get overwhelmed quickly if she doesn't manage to cast her spells.

"Have trust in Riveria Gareth. She didn't become level 5 with just pure luck." Finn replied and ended the conversation.

Meanwhile, Riveria that had arrived at the industrial district saw Ais fight many members of Evilus with a couple of adventurers.

It was a surreal sight, a child was fighting terrorists with a sword. "Ais! Why are you fighting here like this!?" Riveria was worried and the blonde girl just stared at her.

"You were injured." She answered, Riveria then sighed and massaged her temples. "Thank you Ais. But don't push yourself for me, okay?" Riveria patted her head and Ais nodded.

At another part of the city near the central plaza, the Astraea familia was escorting people to the base because it was too dangerous for them to go to the sky corridor.

The people of course were complaining. And one woman shouted out that shaked them completely. "Because you can't defeat Evilus. My daughter died! She died! My girl was killed by them!" She was both furious and forlorn. Crying heavily as Ryuu and Alise looked at what she was carrying.

It was the corpse of her daughter. And they knew her, she was the little girl that thanked them for saving her. Her throat was slit and a stab wound from a sword was right in the middle of her chest.

Alise gasped and Ryuu started hyperventilating. She was overwhelmed by all of it and went unconscious from the mental strain.

After some time, Ryuu woke up in their familia home. Recognizing that she was in her room. She then got greeted by Kaguya.

"Afternoon sleepy head. Took your sweet ass time in sleeping. Let's go, we need to fight Evilus." Kaguya greeted her and Ryuu frowned. Thinking why is she just fine.

"I don't understand... Why are you fine with all this!? People are dying left and right. I... I don't even know what to do anymore. What if you guys are next, just like Ardi." Ryuu looked at the ground and had a frown on her face.

"Idiot, everybody has already been prepared for these kinds of things. Even if we die, we were prepared. Except you that is, apparently." Kaguya sighed and Ryuu squinted her eyes.

She couldn't accept it and thought that they'll always be the nice familia of Astraea's.

Alise overheard their conversation and went inside the room to try and de escalate Ryuu's outburst. "How about you Alise!? Were you prepared for all this? What about justice, do you know what it truly is?" Ryuu shouted out and Alise bit her lip.

"Yes... We all are Lion. And as for justice..." Alise went quiet as she also don't know the answer.

Ryuu furrowed her brows and escaped from there. In despair and great mental strain as she remembered Ardi and the girl.

"I'll go and get her." Lyra overheard as well and decided to go with Ryuu. But Kaguya shook her head. "Let her cool her head, she'll return. We need to prepare to deal with Evilus." Kaguya ordered and they nodded.

Ryuu wandered the streets, in distress. She then saw Shakti bark orders to her familia members with a straight face on.

"Shakti-san... I'm impressed you can be so calm... After all that has happened." Ryuu admired her and Shakti shook her head.

"Of course, we shouldn't show mercy to our enemies and be foolish like Ardi." Shakti said without emotions and Ryuu was enraged.

"What!? You think she was just a fool? Ardi is a kind girl! She tried to save that girl from Evilus even though we were in battle!" Ryuu refused to believe that Ardi's actions were for naught.

Shakti then looked at Ryuu with a pained expression. Ryuu was surprised and she saw Shakti was barely holding on.

She then left quickly and went to the place where Ardi died. The place was in ruins and they were unable to recover Ardi's body.

Meanwhile Erebus was inside the dungeon and they will summon their greatest weapon against Orario. A monster rex called nightmare.

"Is it ready?" Erebus asked his loyal minion Olivas Act. "Yes, Erebus-sama. The sacrifice of the 3 gods from our side was sufficient. We will now be able to summon the monster."

It was a level 7 monster rex. With Alfia and Zald on their side to keep the high level adventurers at bay. The nightmare would be able to reach Babel and destroy it. Taking off the lid of the dungeon and would cause the monsters inside to flood the world once again just like a thousand years ago.

"Then tell Thanatos and the other familias to unleash the monsters from outside. We are going to give an all out attack once the nightmare is summoned." Erebus ordered as he rubbed his hands.

And at the sky corridor, the civilians were still pouring in. Especially with the help of Loki, Astraea, and Ganesha familias.

The central plaza that was close to Babel was fortified to the max. Massive ice walls made by Riveria were made to be barricades.

They knew that Evilus would target Babel. So they put as many people to the sky corridor as possible and would make their stand in the central plaza.

Laplace's surveillance systems saw that Evilus would be starting their attacks. The girls were on a round table and having a meeting.

"It seems that they would attack from the outside as well with monsters. I guess it's our time to shine and gain as much reputation as possible. Heroes go in at the last minute after all." Laplace informed her sisters and the Kaslana sisters cheered.

"Ohhh, dad did told us that if you are late and let the people be in despair first. You'll be their greatest heroes and will remember you forever. Basically worship you." Alexis remembered, making Kiana and Kallen glare at him.

"What? It's true and you know it. Besides, it is the perfect time to swoop in. The girls also can't solve everything. Remember why Alfia and her companion is doing this." Ein shrugged and the two corrupted Kaslanas nodded in understanding.

"Umu, chichi-ue is wise indeed." Izumi nodded in satisfaction with her sisters. They then prepared for the final battle. With Laplace overseeing the whole operation as she activated their siege weapons and defense systems.

The sky corridor will be making a debut as the fortress that makes Orario an unconquerable bastion.

At the Hermes familia, Asfi was about to inform her god about some important things. Like there will be tons of monsters that will attack Orario from the outside, but she was confused when Hermes gave her a new post.

"Asfi, you'll be the new captain of the familia." Hermes appointed her with a serious face. "What? Why, Hermes-sama?" Asfi didn't understand.

"The previous captain Lydia died..." Hermes announced and she was shocked. She knew that people could die at anytime during these times. But she did not expect their captain to.

Tsubaki then arrived at their place. "Asfi-chan, we need to make something. It's very important for the next battle. There's a scary woman that is going to fight. And we need something to counter her skill set." Tsubaki went to Asfi as she had the mystery development skill. Used to create magical items.

Asfi furrowed her brows and remembered about Alfia. Who bodied Gareth and Riveria like they were newly minted adventurers. "Let us go then, Tsubaki-san. But we are on a tight schedule, we need to work nonstop." Asfi announced and Tsubaki nodded.

The Loki familia then got a report that the nightmare was moving up the dungeon floors. It was slowly, but surely going to go to the top and destroy Babel.

"We will destroy the monster rex with the Astraea familia Finn. You guys lure in the enemies here in the central plaza. Ottar will be fighting Zald, while we will probably fight Alfia inside the dungeon." Riveria sighed and thought it would be a losing fight, but they cannot yield.

"Go and take Gareth with you, Riveria. My thumb has been twitching too much for my liking." Finn told them and he felt that they would lose quite easily if they didn't have someone dedicated to protect them.

They waited for Asfi's magic tools which can help them against Alfia's Satanas Verion. And after 77 hours of grueling work. Asfi completed it with Tsubaki. The slaying group then went to the dungeon.

The group came to the dungeon and they even had Ais come with them. They waited at the 18th floor of the dungeon because no other monsters appear there and it has a big space to battle on.

But when they arrived there, it turned into a burning hellscape and the sky looked to have disappeared. "This place looks like hell." Kaguya commented.

"It is actually like the dragon's vase at the deeper floors." Gareth observed and Riveria nodded. As they have been to the lower floors in the dungeon when the Loki familia goes into their deep expeditions.

Monsters started spawning because of the abberation. The nightmare summoned monsters and they quickly dealt with them. As they were an elite group that have pretty good coordination.

"Come on, let's destroy that monster quickly." Riveria ordered and they prepared to deal with it. But Alfia appeared and stood in front of them.

"Hmmm, how about you guys leave it alone and I'll let you live?" Alfia proposed and of course they could not accept.

Gareth nodded at Riveria and he immediately charged to Alfia while his trusted companion started chanting. It wouldn't work, but what other option did they have.

"This again? You already know it does not work." Alfia chanted her magic and hit Gareth with it once again. Making him fly, but Alfia noticed that he got up quite quickly unlike last time.

Ryuu and Ais started lunged at Alfia as well, thinking she was distracted. But they were quickly proven wrong as her magic hit them square on their bodies as they flew away as well.

The three were injured, but they were quite fine. "You're still alive, impressive. You must have magic tools on you." Alfia concluded immediately and Gareth affirmed.

The melee specialists, Kaguya, Alise, Ais, Ryuu Neze, and Lyra started attacking her with all they've got. But Alfia just dodged and weaved through their onslaught.

"How unpleasant, you attack like wild animals. I should teach you how to use a sword, no?" Alfia snatched Ais' sword and she started swinging.

The girls thought she would be quite subpar with the weapon. But they were surprised as Alfia dealt with them easily. Making them retreat immediately as they tried parrying her intense blows.

"That's how Zald fights..." Riveria noticed and Alfia nodded. "I can copy any movement that I've seen once, if I can do it. Then you should as well." Alfia's impossible standards made them frown heavily.

"Retreat everyone!" Ryana announced as Riveria and Celty, the elves of the group finished chanting their fire magic and released devastation on the surroundings.

But as expected, Alfia just stood there and the blazing flames didn't even singe a single strand of her hair. "Hmph, I thought elves are supposed to be smart?" Alfia snickered and insulted their useless actions.

"You shouldn't talk like that to people older than you." Riveria quipped and Alfia snorted. "Then isn't that worse? In your long life, you have learned nothing." Alfia rebutted and Riveria got furious.

"Calm down Riveria! She's provoking you!" Gareth reminded her and the elf started some breathing exercises. When they prepared to attack once again, everybody felt the dungeon shake.

The monster that Evilus summoned opened a hole in the dungeon and flew upwards. It then arrived at the 18th floor, Ais saw it and she lost herself to rage. Because the monster appeared to be draconic in nature.

Ais began attacking the beast with reckless abandon, Riveria tried stopping her. But the blonde firecracker was too steeped in rage.

Riveria and Gareth were worried about her as they knew she didn't have a chance. "Go and support her, she needs it!" Alise told them.

"Don't worry about us, we have a plan." Lyra added and the two executives of the Loki familia went to Ais' fight. They noticed that Ais was using her magic Ariel and it was the only thing giving the girl a chance to fight.

She was being coated by wind, but it was damaging her body as she overclocked her muscles and bones.

And up above at the surface, everybody felt the tremors inside the dungeon. Valletta that was outside the walls grinned and thought the time is right.

They made the 4 gates of Orario explode and swarms of monsters began invading Orario. Valletta noticed that many people are missing and adventurers were nowhere to be seen.

She then saw one of the flyers that told the civilians to go to the sky corridor and she clicked her tongue. "Tch, damn it. They all went to the tower of heaven."

The sky corridor also received a nickname called tower of heaven. It was because of the height and its impregnable defense.

But Valletta and Vito still attacked the city with all they could. The central plaza had a big wall of ice and Evilus thought that they were being lured there.

"Heh, so they think they'll take care of us there. They will be in for a rude awakening when our little helper here deals with them." Valletta smirked and ordered her minions to let Zald go to the central plaza.

And when Zald went to the center of Orario. They suddenly saw tons of their members getting gunned down. Then the thundering roars of the guns were heard.

"Wh-what is happening!?" Valletta immediately went down and hid behind walls. She observed what was happening and explosions suddenly shook her to the core.

The members of Evilus that tried hiding from the gunfire suddenly got torn apart by the brick c4's hiding in plain sight. Flame throwers also appeared from the choke points and burned them to hell.

Valletta was shocked and she could only look on. Her forces being burned to ashes, torn apart by unknown explosions, turned into swiss cheese by automatic gunfire.

She started laughing at the absurdity of it all. Then, she heard crisp footsteps. Just like from before.

"Hmmm, you're that crazy bitch Valletta. What? Surprised that your forces are getting eviscerated? Kyahahaha!" Laplace appeared and laughed like a maniac.

Valletta couldn't retort and felt like Laplace was more of a villain than her. Seeing the beautiful girl laugh like a maniac as explosions killed her subordinates and turrets gunned them down.

Laplace looked villainous to say the least. She was so happy and joyful to see them die from her playground.

"Hmmm, you're a sadistic little bitch ain't cha? How about I give you an offer you can't refuse?" Laplace smiled sweetly and Valletta thought she really couldn't.

Zald breezed through the path to the central park. "There are no obstructions nor adventurers that tried even slowing me down... A trap? Then I look forward to the feast they will give me." Zald smirked, thinking that the adventurers might show something good.

He broke the ice wall in front of him and entered the encirclement. He thought that everyone would be waiting for him there. But he was disappointed, thinking that they are just going to trap him there.

But Ottar appeared and he brandished his blades. Staring at Zald as someone he must overcome in order to please his goddess.

"It seems you haven't learned your lesson. And you still want to fight me by your own." Zald sighed and Ottar gritted his teeth.

"I do not need help to defeat you. I must achieve this on my own." Ottar squinted his eyes and he started to do something.

"Hoh? Then try as much as you like." Zald provoked him and would beat him up again. He was poisoned by the poison of the Behemoth from one of their quests. And he would gladly make Ottar a level 7 and make him one of the pillars of Orario.

"Then let's start!" Ottar roared as he became bigger. He used one of the trump cards of the Boaz race. Beastification, he became more muscular and aggressive.

They started their battle and Ottar was already in a disadvantage as Zald was much stronger than him in all aspects.

Vito appeared with a group of Evilus members and started getting excited. "Ahh, it seems I have arrived before the final battle eh?" Kaguya noticed the hateful man and she decided to battle them.

"Alise, I'll handle this. Go and hold her off as long as possible." Kaguya brandished her blade and went to defeat the mobs of Evilus first before she would go after Vito.

Alise then activated her magic as fire blazed on her body. She got a sizeable boost in her speed and strength. But it was quite useless against Alfia.

"Impressive boost in your speed and strength. But you are still lacking." Alfia dodged all of their attacks without difficulty.

Lyra, the little Loli charged at Alfia with her shield and Alfia just let it hit her. Lyra felt like she hit a brick wall with her shoulders and retreated immediately.

"There are some things you just can't do girl. Just accept defeat like a good girl." Alfia sighed, Lyra though has accomplished her objective.

Her shield was one of the magic tools that Asfi created with Tsubaki. And its effect was to copy any magic that has hit the shield.

"Everyone, the magic that is actually nullifying any magic attack is an enchantment. She keeps it on her body all the time, we gas her out and we win!" Lyra explained to her buddies.

"Good work, it seems you have managed to know what Silentium Eden does." Alfia nodded in satisfaction at their ingenuity.

"Your hate of silence is also your greatest weakness, won't you turn the enchantment off?" Lyra appreciated the compliment, but now she thought that they'll have a fighting chance if Alfia turns her magic off.

"Good work in deducing that. But my enchantment is not my weakness. It not only works externally, but also internally. You know what that means right?" Alfia deactivated Silentium Eden and they felt her monstrous amounts of mana.

The ground shaked, Alfia's new and improved mana circuits were perfect for her. Her massive amounts of mana flowed in her body without any problem.

"I have been holding back too much it seems. I will get a bit serious now." Alfia stretched her body. She felt like she was reborn, thinking that she could battle almost endlessly with her new body.

"Don't die too quickly now." Alfia announced and jumped in the air. "My new god taught me this move, it's the first time I'll be using it. Please do tell me what your thoughts are on it."

Alfia started to accumulate mana as she would release a cathartic amount that she was never able to in the past. "SHINRA TENSEI!"

Just as Alfia was preparing to use the magic Ein taught her. The girls on the ground immediately felt the terrible amounts of mana she was going to release.

"Everyone! Run away quickly!" Alise shouted out with grave urgency and they ran away for their lives.

Lyra used her shield to block when they heard Alfia finish her little warning. Everybody braced for impact and they suddenly felt the whole floor tremble.

With Alfia as the center, the whole dungeon shook and Orario experienced magnitude 9 earthquakes. The ground ruptured and Orario was split apart like it was a biscuit that got broken in half.

A fault line appeared and it encompassed the whole continent as tectonic plates got disturbed by the apocalyptic shockwave.

The Astraea familia, Riveria, Gareth, and even Ais that was in a rage immediately got into a barrier Riveria put up. But when Alfia's attack hit them, it shattered instantly and made them fly like sand.

Alfia actually did this for two reasons. Destroy the nightmare and cut her connection with Evilus as she announces her new familia.

But she was a bit too excited and the girls that she was supposed to fight and make them level up got blown away. She pinpointed them and made the shockwave weaker there, but she miscalculated her new strength.

'Shit, I hope they didn't die. Ein-sama and Meteria will definitely get on my ass if they did.' Alfia got slightly nervous as she checked if the girls were still alive.

Fortunately, they were. Except that they have received a lot of injuries. But Alfia nodded in satisfaction as the girls stood up and would defy her until the end.

They actually just thought that Alfia must have exhausted herself by now. And the massive attack she released was to deal with them quickly.

Alfia then started beating the shit out of them so they could gain as much excelia as possible. Rapidly correcting their misconception that Alfia was gassing out.

"Alfia-nee! How's your little mission here?" Musubi appeared with Haku. They were hunting down the members of Evilus and Vito that was their target didn't really deserve a deal like Valletta.

Not only was he not hot unlike Valletta, he was also a deranged maniac while Valletta just needed to get her hobby in control. She was the top executive of Evilus as well. And without her help, Evilus would have been destroyed by now.

The raid members were agape as they saw Musubi and Haku call for Alfia. They thought if the honkai familia was a part of Evilus' and they despaired.

"Huh? What's that face for? Alfia-nee here is the newest member of our familia. What's so weird about that? Ohhh, is it because she's level 8? Yeah, she's awesome." Haku saw their expressions and explained to them that Alfia was a part of their familia.

The raid team almost fainted when they heard that they were actually fighting a level 8 adventurer. It was so unfair and they almost died multiple times. And Haku just strolled up to them to tell them that Alfia was holding back on their asses.

"Hah, why'd you have to tell them all that Haku. Now we're exposed, you'll be giving trouble to Ein-sama. He'll definitely spank you when we get back home." Alfia tricked her and Haku went pale.

"M-Musubi-nee. If everybody knows Alfia-nee is our familia member. Will chichi-ue get angry?" Haku asked and Musubi thought that he actually will punish them because they ruined Alfia's plan.

"Uhhh, good luck to us?" Musubi couldn't think of anything and just wished themselves good luck later.

"Ugh... This is all your fault." Haku glared at the injured Vito and she was pissed. Haku summoned swords and pinned the man on his four limbs to the ground.

He has dysfunctional senses except sight that could only see red normally. But he screamed bloody murder as all the attacks of the girls targets your very soul and mind.

"Haku, calm down! We gotta kill him later at the central plaza." Musubi gave a wry smile and held her down.

"Tch, you piece of trash. You make trouble even when you are about to die. We'll make sure to make your last moments miserable!" Haku shouted out like a rabid dog. She struggled so violently that the ground received spiderweb cracks.

Haku is very uptight, along with Izumi and Akira after all. It was a dishonor to bring trouble to her father.

Alfia, Musubi, and Haku then took Vito away. Leaving a very confused and disheartened raid team. "We were all a part of their plans... We only got played. Alfia was holding back on us all this time. If she wanted to kill us, we'd be dead a thousand times over." Kaguya who was the most perceptive amongst them said with a frown.

"Yeah... And I can still smell the blood coming from those two earlier... Haku and Musubi, they have an overwhelming stench of blood and death. They probably killed their way to get here." Neze added as she shivered. She couldn't imagine how much blood they needed to spill in order to smell like that. And no stains were on them too.

Meanwhile, up above. Zald was impressed that Ottar withstood many strikes of his. Their battle got interrupted a bit by the earthquakes. And Zald thought that Alfia used her strongest attack Genos Angelus.

Basically, magic nuke. It was so destructive that it would erase Orario from the face of the earth. And it has only been used once, to kill the Leviathan that was one of the three quests.

"You have lasted quite long. But you still cannot defeat me, accept defeat and I might spare you." Zald pointed his sword at Ottar and tested his resolve.

But he got surprised when Ottar had a burst of speed and punched him. Taking off his helmet. "Screw you! I won't lose here... My goddess is watching this fight." Ottar gritted his teeth.

"Besides... You are quite injured under that armor aren't you?" Ottar smirked as he knew Zald was poisoned by the flesh of the Behemoth he ate.

Zald has the skill Deus Ambrosia. Whatever he eats, he would receive a corresponding boost in his stats depending on what was eaten.

The armored man was surprised and smiled. Thinking that he should at least show Ottar his magic before he dies for the next generation just like Alfia.

He started chanting his magic Rea Ambrosia and Ottar also chanted Hildis Vini, his strongest attack. They then clashed, Zald's magic spewing flames all over the battlefield. Releasing steam as it hit the giant walls of ice. Hiding them from the sight of observers.

Everybody then saw that Ottar was the one who still stood. Zald's body was too poisoned by the Behemoth and he has gotten much weaker.

He then closed his eyes and thought that Orario will be in capable hands at least. "Do not stop in moving forward. You will need it." Zald advised Ottar.

"I won't. I will be the strongest there is to protect my goddess." Ottar replied and he collapsed from his injuries.

Freya then arrived as she was observing the battle and she updated Ottar's falna. The intense battle proved to be effective as Ottar leveled up to 7.

"So the last member of the Zeus familia will die. They are no more." Freya mused and thought that they are the strongest familia in Orario now. Barring the clearly abnormal honkai familia.

"You're lucky you have this goddess instead of that old man with you." Zald pointed out and chuckled before hacking violently.

"Rest now, I will oversee your departure." She thanked Zald in her mind as Freya was also a goddess of war.

Zald then perished and the Zeus familia's last member has finally departed. Ottar also prayed for his soul and thanked him for his newfound strength.

Ottar then attacked the remnants of Evilus and swung his sword. It was stronger than ever, releasing a wind blade that cut down the members of Evilus.

Back at the dungeon, Gareth, Riveria, and Ais were injured. But not that much, while the Astraea familia were exhausted and barely survived.

Hermes and Astraea then arrived at the place. "Do not lose hope my children." Astraea gave a smile and handed out elixirs to her familia.

"Astraea-sama... Gods are forbidden from entering the dungeon right?" Alise asked as they cannot enter there. When they die at the dungeon, their divine spirit will be trapped by it and be consumed. Instead of returning to heaven.

"Keep it a secret okay?" Astraea winked at Alise and they saw that the monster rex was still alive. Regenerating, as Loki's familia members were quite close to it so Alfia couldn't increase the damage at the area.

Ais then resumed her frenzied attacks as she gained more and more damage to her body. Even releasing a tornado that kept it busy.

Ryuu went up to Ais as she had wind magic that counteracted her skill. "What are you doing!? Stop being reckless and cooperate with the group!" Ryuu tried to calm her down. But Ais just kept on attacking and refused to listen.

Ryuu then smacked her on the face with a backhand. Shocking Ais greatly as she stared at Ryuu and stopped.

"Can you girls still fight?" Riveria asked as they fought Alfia earlier. "Don't worry, we all leveled up." Alise replied and gave a peace sign.

"I'll beat it alone." Ais though was still stubborn and refused to cooperate. "You won't be able to eat a jagamarukun again if you don't listen." Kaguya threatened Ais with her favorite potato puff.

Ais went still and the threat worked. She grumbled and reluctantly listened to their plans. Celty and Ryana chanted their fire magic with Riveria.

The high elf chanted for a long time and would release her strongest fire magic. Alise and her familia members distracted the monster with Gareth and Ais.

After her long chant, everybody retreated and Riveria released Rea Laevatein on the enemy. She kept on increasing the mana she used to maintain the magic until it burned into a crisp.

Celty and Ryana who leveled up as well and were fully tanked with mana because of Astraea's elixirs also kept on using their fire magic.

And after they finished it off, the magicians kneeled on the ground, panting. They managed to destroy it fully. Almost hitting mind down from the excessive mana usage.

Riveria then walked up to Ais slowly and started hitting the blonde with her staff. Punishing her from her reckless behavior.

"Riveria, calm down. It's all fine now, I think Ais has learned her lesson." Gareth stopped her and gave a wry smile. Ais was already teary eyed and said sorry.

Erebus then clapped and thought they have done well. Preventing absolute evil who in his opinion is him. From destroying the lid of the dungeon and causing chaos all over the world.

"Astraea, what are you doing here? Are you here to judge me and send me back to heaven?" Erebus gave a satisfied smile and Astraea was about to answer.

"No she isn't, but we are. And you aren't going to heaven bub." Argento and Arcene suddenly appeared from nowhere. They then took away the god without much of a squeak. Surprising the onlookers as they watched Erebus getting dragged through the ground.

At the central plaza. The higher ups of Evilus and the gods that were affiliated with them were rounded up by the honkai familia.

They were all gagged up and has a sack on their heads. "Step right up! Listen here folks, these are the bastards that have been terrorizing Orario for years. Remember them?" Musubi announced to the masses that have now gathered once again.

The people had massive respect to the honkai familia as they have shielded them from Evilus in the sky corridor when they tried to destroy Orario.

People started cheering and it was deafening. They surely knew how to hype up a crowd. "First one is this bastard." Alexis took off Vito's sack on his head and started reciting his crimes against humanity.

It was a trial and an execution all at once. And Haku still stared at the man with hatred as she anxiously thought of what Ein will tell her later.

Anahaat then threw a deadly virus at him that was genetically modified to just infect those who are hit by the liquid inside the test tube.

At first, nothing happened. But the crowd dutifully waited because they knew that they will deliver. Just like before, unlike the Astraea familia in their minds.

Vito then started to twitch violently. Blood started seeping out off of every orifice on his head. And the worst part is, he was a level 4 adventurer. Unlike the goblin that Anahaat tested it on earlier. He was much more sturdy, his body and falna kept him alive for one hour as he wiggled on the ground. Twitching madly and having seizures, showing the crowd a dog's death.

Next were the gods affiliated with Evilus. And was it something special. When gods in the mortal realm die, they release a pillar of light. Signifying that they have returned to heaven.

But with their execution, it was much different. They got stabbed by what the girls called a cursed blade and their divine spirits were snuffed out.

Scaring the living shit out of all the gods in Orario. Worst part is, they can't even do anything, the honkai familia was the MVP. Saving majority of the people and also killing almost every single one of Evilus' attack force.

They had Orario in the palm of their hands, their names commanded respect. Influence like no other is in their hands. And they haven't even revealed Alfia yet. No god dared to oppose them, when they knew that they could kill any of them permanently.

Ein nodded in satisfaction at how they did their mission completely. They carefully planned the attack and capitalized on other factors before swooping in for the least effort and maximum gains.

"I guess I'll leave them here for now. Let Alfia teach them other things they need to know. And you guys can handle the rest." Ein kissed his wives and went to check on Beidou.

A couple of years have passed once again there and they actually went to sail in the grand line once Linlin hit the physical age of 15. She was still a bit childish, but she knew common sense and Beidou's crew taught her how to be a decent person.

Ein appeared at their ship and they were nowhere to be seen. "Huh? Where the hell are they?" Ein looked around for a second and saw that they were in the calm belt. He then noticed an island which isn't that far away.

"Amazon Lily? Did they come here because they were hunting in the calm belt for sea kings?" Ein got interested on what Beidou got herself into.

So he went to the island and saw the guys were rightfully waiting at the edge while women with bows aimed at them.

"What's up boys? Why are you guys right here? Shouldn't you be using your charms for the ladies right there that probably hasn't seen a man?" Ein laughed as he teased Beidou's crew.

"Boss Ein! Don't be unreasonable! They already told us that they'll shoot us senseless if we try and go in the island. Captain Beidou and Linlin are the only ones that got permission to go in." One of the crew members shouted out and they all laughed as well.

"Hah, then let me teach you how it's done. Hey, ladies. Aren't you guys a bit too tense? How about I prepare a little something for you?" Ein took out a long table and filled it up with food and drinks.

The guys of course started digging in and the kuja pirates of Amazon Lily glared at Ein. "Shut up you man! We won't be fooled! You will be the end of Amazon Lily! Our empress from even the first generation has banned men in this island!" One of the girls hissed at Ein.

"Ooh, spicy~ I like it when they have a kick to them. Isn't that right, boys?" Ein laughed and the crew members of Beidou cheered.

The woman got insulted and fired arrows at Ein that were imbued with haki. The kuja pirates are all adept at haki after all. Ein then caught the arrow with his fingers and sent it back to her.

The woman was so surprised and even with her observation haki. She couldn't dodge the incoming projectile that will hit her right on the forehead. But she was swept away by her feet as Ein carried her away from the arrow and he smirked at her.

"Hmmm~ don't start what you can't finish girl. What if I was a bad man that would try and conquer your island? You'd be dead by now. So how about you lighten up a bit?" Ein whispered at her ears and bit her earlobe lightly.

"Ahn! Y-yes." She blushed madly and Ein put her down lightly. The woman then followed him to the table and Ein introduced her to the crew.

"And that's just how it is boys. Toodles, I'll be going to your captain." Ein disappeared and the women don't know what will happen. But they slowly came closer as their apparent leader started enjoying the feast.

At the center of the island, Beidou was talking to a beautiful, tall woman. "I already told you, Beidou. You cannot convince me to go out to sea with my people." The woman sighed and was already in pretty good graces with Beidou. (pic)

Not that it was because of Linlin on the background that had an oppressing aura. "Why though? We'll protect the Kuja pirates, you know our reputation. We've defeated tons of pirates and bandits all across the seas." Beidou argued.

She wanted to add them to their crew, at least a few of them. Because in Beidou's view, if they do not have a person who knows the outside world. Their peace will inevitably be dismantled and the kuja pirates will be enslaved. There are a lot of beautiful women there after all.

"Heya Beidou, who is this friend of yours? Introduce me." Ein greeted as he was already sitting on the side with a glass of wine. They didn't notice him and he smiled at them.

"W-who is that man!?" The woman shouted out in surprise as she didn't know he was there. And he was looking comfortable too right in her throne room.

"Ahhh! Ein! Look here, this woman over here is Gloriosa. I've been trying to take a couple of her girls so we'll show them the world outside. I don't want them to be invaded here and they will suffer because they don't know much." Beidou clung to him and explained the situation.

They met the kuja pirates one day when they were hunting sea kings for their large appetites. Especially Linlin, and there they got a sudden surprise when a ship that was being pulled by sea serpents appeared. Beidou and Gloriosa talked and the charismatic captain offered some sea kings. They then hit it off.

"Beidou... Is he your lover?" Gloriosa raised a brow and was quite shocked that Beidou. The strong friend of hers had a lover.

"Umu, he's very handsome isn't he? And he's much stronger than Linlin and me too. He taught us everything about haki and stuff after all." Beidou laughed and Linlin affirmed, she waited for her chance to hug Ein later. As the pink haired girl quite missed him.

"Hmph, having a man beside you will be your downfall Beidou." Gloriosa snorted and thought that just like many of the empresses of Amazon Lily. She would be swept up by her feelings and be in danger because of it.

"Hoh? Why do you think so?" Ein smirked and Gloriosa squinted her eyes at him. As she thought that he has nefarious plans for Amazon Lily. That's why Beidou and her crew got there.

"You men are wolves in sheep's clothing. I can already imagine that you have instructed Beidou here to go and befriend us. So you can capture our women and do whatever you want with them!" Gloriosa was getting heated and Ein snorted.

"Why'd I do that? No offense, but I actually have no use for Amazon Lily. Beidou and Linlin here are stronger than all of you combined. Even Beidou's crewmates can beat up a lot of your people. They are all adept in haki and they trained to the max. If we wanted we could've just invaded and took the island with force." Ein shrugged and Gloriosa flinched.

"Say, how about a deal?" Ein smiled and Beidou knew that he was going to seduce her like a virgin girl that just received a compliment from a handsome man for the first time. Which was all true anyways.

"Hmph! Leave Amazon Lily now! We don't need anything from you." Gloriosa got ready to square up and was stubborn.

"Heh, then how about Linlin and Beidou show you how strong they really are? How about it girls, a little spar won't hurt." Ein suggested and the two nodded.

Gloriosa was the empress of Amazon Lily. She wasn't stupid, she knew that Beidou and Linlin could catch titanic sea kings in the calm belt without any problems. And they could sail there with them not attacking. The sea kings were so afraid of them that they didn't dare.

"Alright... We'll have an exhibition match in our arena then." Gloriosa called for all the people in Amazon Lily and they would witness how strong Linlin and Beidou truly were.

Beidou and Linlin then cracked their knuckles and would be able to fight to the max today. As Ein will surely protect the people from their destructive powers.

And after a quick announcement. The arena was quickly filled up, while Beidou and Linlin stood in the center of the arena with smiles on their faces.

Everybody was excited except Beidou's crew. As they haven't seen entertainment like this in a long time.

"Don't get blown away now, be careful everyone." Ein announced and made the whole island indestructible. As they would be pretty violent, he could already sense their fighting spirit when he mentioned a spar earlier.

"Linlin! Show me how much stronger you've become! Especially when you munch on Ein's tomahawk steak all day and exercise!" Beidou shouted out as her fists turned dark violet from haki.

"I'll definitely show you, captain. Ein-nii will be proud of my growth!" Linlin did the same and they disappeared from everyone's view except Ein.

Gloriosa had a bad feeling as she used her observation haki and immediately held on to anything she could.
