Chapter 996: Devouring the world

The same black flame appeared, but this time even he couldn't see it. He could just feel it. The flame had lit up inside his own body. To be more specific, it appeared right around his heart. 

It wasn't his body that turned to ashes but his heart that did. Even until he died, the man didn't believe that this was all reality and not just a nightmare. 

Karyk walked closer to the corpse. 

"Arise..."

The same darkness emanated from the man's body and swallowed his entire body. It was devouring his body, but also creating something new. 

In front of everyone's eyes, an Abyssal Undead arose. The body of the man was destroyed, and only this chunk of darkness that took a human shape was left behind. 

"That makes it seven."

His shadow became larger, covering the entire floor. All the Abyssal Undead fell inside his shadow and disappeared. The flames that were sealing the hall also disappeared.
