True to his words, Jace indeed finished all the revisions by himself. Lorelei was expecting him to at least give her something to work on, but in the end, he didn't. He must be truly adamant that she should take some rest for her to recover quickly. And thanks to that, she was now back to health.

It had already been more than a week since their History term paper's deadline, and Lorelei had not seen the boy even once in that span of days. After its submission, Jace never bothered to call or even check on her. Not that she was hoping he would do so but isn't getting in touch after finishing their work the right thing to do? To top it off, he was acting all worried and concerned when Lorelei was ill. It baffled her why Jace didn't even ask how she was after their last meeting (the day she got sick and the day before the deadline).
