chpt 4.The Manuals techniques

Finally got rid of my tail I took his space ring and searched it. I looted it and put everything in my space ring the put his corpse in it .

Ate some mid grade healing pills for my injuries and lay in some bamboo near the stream to hide and rest .while I heal I decided to look for techniques to learn since I had none and I almost died for it.

looking into the fallen black lightning manual I found it has 2 movement techniques, black flash and electric dance . Two defensive ones black lightning amour and thunder dome .

fallen lightning claw ,plasma orbs and lightning chain for offensive.

Then there is a secret technique circuit overdrive that increases your ability but damages your body can only be used in core nourish stage and above .

Decided I'll learn the electronic dance ,fallen lightning claw and lightning armour for now.if I have time I'll try black flash .

Five hours later my injuries had healed but it was already evening seeing this was a good area to stay and practice my arts i went in the bamboo forest and built a small hut to rest in the night for .

After building the hut went inside sat down and started mediating feeling ill have no problems with my break through, took out 5 mid grade stones and started absorbing them using the black lightning Manual soon my Qi started running fast and pushed through my meridians I had to try control it before it damaged my meridians.

Managing to control the Qi i started attacking the bottleneck. 300 runs later the barrier finally started to crack but 3 of my spirit stones were out and turned to dust so I took out a high grade stone and used it too. Feeling the pure energy from the high grade stone I pushed through again attacking the bottleneck and few dozen rounds later I had broken through to early Qi absorbing stage, used the remaining time to consolidate and few hours to sleep .

Early in the morning by next to a bamboo forest a young man could be seen moving around fast with flashes on lightning on his body as if he was dancing, The dance went on for hours with the increase of time going along with the fluidity of his movements three hours later he came to stop n fell down flat breathing heavily. Finally I manage to reach the beginner stage of the electronic dance he mumbled to himself.

3 minutes after resting Frank started recovering his Qi soon he was up. Next is fallen lightning claw. it has while claw ,black claw ,white tiger claw and black dragon claw and finally rage of Thor. Started practicing the white claw since he hasn't achieved black lightning stage of the manual which is after reaching core formation stage .

Says to form the claws I have to circulate the lightning to my hands externalise it and condense the wild lightning to my desired form .

I tried it out and moved the lightning to my hands but it was hard to control and dispersed after making a cloak on my hand. After hours of trying I manage to make an outline the claw now I had to condense it to finish the first step .

Started filling it with Qi then condensed it with the lightning it was hard to do with lightning being violent but somehow I managed just as I was finishing it and letting go the claw, Booom exploded near my face and sent me flying into the stream .Came out the stream drenched in water when got to land took a fish out of my hood and threw away the crab pinching my leg .

Dam it I forgot to balance it before stopping, I complained while drying myself. Then I got back to it and 7 minutes later I had finally condensed 3, 30cm claws running from below my wrist to my fist and extra for some range. soon as I stopped supplying it with Qi this time It stayed and I started trying out how to fight with it and few minutes later it dissipated .

Dam it despite the large about n quality of my Qi condensing it once took 5% of my entire reserve .spent the rest of the day practicing on condensing it so it can be faster by the end of the day it only took 3 seconds to do it .Might seem like a short time but lot can happen in 3 seconds on a cultivators fight. so I spent the next 5 days practice my battle arts .

Day seven in the forest and I've made good progress. closing in intermediate stage of electric dance and I can condensed the white claw in half second now it only takes 4% of my Qi. Deciding it was enough I went out to fight beast n get experience using them in battle

went east looking for mid stage yellow core beasts to fight .

while of wondering around ended up in the turf of blue necked baboons ,with 12 baboons 3 in the middle stages and the rest at early stage looks like I got myself a self a party. Approached them silently soon found that they were watching a grape like plant might have some spiritual fruits there ..Crack....

looking down I saw a broken twig under my foot when I looked back up saw the baboons all looking towards me Fuck I cursed and ran out to the open ain't no way I'm fighting them in the trees. Got to a small clearing between the trees and started running my Qi . Seconds later I was surrounded I covered my arms and legs with lightning then used electric dance and attacked .

i hit an unsuspecting baboon behind me with a blow on the ribs cracking a few and sending it flying . Witnessing me injure one of them the leader howled and the rest jumped in attacking me .I moved again avoiding the onslaught then kicked one of the 3 mid stage apes sending crashing into a tree ,felt some wind in my left and found a fist coming towards me fast .

I leaned sideways avoiding the punch then used electric dance kicking the baboons hand and cracking some bones. Moved back to attack another early stage but got intercepted I dodged a few attacks but soon the leader punched me hard raised my hands to block the impact sent me sliding back, when I managed to stop myself I got kicked and soon I was punching bag trying my best to escape .
