Chapter 13, First mission Bandit hunting

Yeah I'm sure sign me up to it Frank said placing his badge on the table. "Young man these days", the elder muttered before registering me on the mission. If no report comes of you completing the mission in 2 months will take it as you failed and repost it .

Frank took his badge and wore it on his waist and left for the island harbour get a boat ride out to the main land. Reaching the harbour I looked around for a boat to take me to main land finding one with 3 people in I got in and pain 10 low grade stones ,the boat man started the boat and it left the dock .

Being smaller and faster it only took several hours for the boat to reach Jeppes Reef city. Arriving during the evening I went of the boat and into the city . When in the city I used the rooftops to move around heading to Melton inn, I paid a room for 2 nights. I ordered food to be delivered to my room ,they said it'll arrive in 20 minutes .

while waiting Frank slit his wrist and brought out the bucket with blood Iron ore and filled it with blood for it the ore to consume.

In the room he waited for his food and after a meal and a bath ,he took out 3 mid stage spirit stones and sat down to cultivate for the rest of the night. Cultivation feels faster the more I advance in comprehending in the manual.

Looks like I'll need to visit the Thunderstorm room again when I get back to the sect Frank thought to himself .

In the morning Frank got out of meditation and went to buy his supplies in the city. First he went to the Alchemist guild ,Going through the entrance Frank went through the display cases for the products he was looking for.

He choose to buy 60 peak grade yellow Qi accumulation pills .

Then he bought peak grade healing pills and some 7, 100-300 year old Red ginseng for body cultivation .After buying them he bought several spirit fruits costing him a good 800 low grade spirit stones left the guild

He moved on to the weapons and inscription to buy metals restocking his metal supply Frank then went to some local black Smith's and sold them half of his refined metals earning some spirit stones back after buying all that he decided to focus on gathering information on the iron hide bandits to complete the mission.

Frank went to a springs restaurant from last and ordered some food.

He took a seat in a corner by the window and waited for the food .

when the waitress brought his food Frank held her held and took out a low grade spirit stone. Girl since you work here I'm sure you hear a lot of things from the customers .

I want all the information you have on the iron hide bandits. Taking the spirit stone the lady said all she knew to me. After confirmation on the info I ate the food while thinking of a plan to get the bandits this mission will be pretty hard no way I can on the all of them at once .

I went back to the inn to cultivate, seating down I held out my hands and used white claws . Looking my claws I tried to add some of the gray and black lightning to it and see the effect. The moment I added black lightning my Qi went down 10 percent but I could feel the claws getting stronger and heavy. I'll have to use this as a trump card since it's hard to maintain .

I took out spirit stones and absorbed the energy from them and the air . Morning came the next day and I had figured a good plan to attract the bandits to me. Going out I bought some coachman clothes then bought an expensive looking carriage for a low level spirit stone and went out of the city .

When outside I wore the coach man uniform with a wide bamboo sun hat and I got on the front and drove the carriage into the forest on the path to buffel city. The plan is simple I'll use the carriage as bait to lure out the bandits. Fight the ones I find and get the information to their base from them .It's easy with many loopholes .

After two hours driving in the forest a small group of bandits blocked the road to rob me. Looking out the was 5 men wearing leather amours with swords standing in the way. They all have mid Qi absorbing stage cultivation.

Come on out and give us your space ring and we will let you live said one of the bandits. Mhh are you guys part of the iron hide bandits Frank asked them getting off the carriage driver seat. Hahaha.. no were not part of them now hand over your space ring and tell who ever is inside to hand it over too ,you can't do anything with your cultivation.

AHH damm I really wanted to fight the iron hide bandits, but now I only got you guys to here blocking the road ,but a warm up won't be bad ,Frank complained . The bandits burst out laughing, look at that brother he's gone crazy from fear .

Well let's get this over with ,said Frank as he wore the gauntlets ready to fight. Seconds later he used electric dance moving in to attack.

He punched first bandit on the ribs and sent him flying with broken ribs. Then he jumped to attack the second bandit with white lightning claws but it got dodged.

He dares attack us kill him ,shouted the first bandit holding his ribs.

They moved and tried to encircle Frank but he moved fast escaping.

Jumping up he used a tree as a spring board moving back to attack a bandit from behind. Covered with lightning Qi Frank boosted his speed and stabbed his hands through his chest.

he pulled his hand out and kicked the body towards the second bandit. Brother the bandits screamed the second catching the body..

Enraged the bandit frantically attacked Frank with their battle arts .

He dodged the two sword attacks ,blocked a overhead chop by crossing his arms but a punch hit his gut and sent him flying.

Ughh.. Frank spat out blood from the impact staggering a bit. Looking at the bloodthirsty men Infront of him. He did the thing any smart man in his situation would do, he ran away jumping into the trees . The bandits gave chase storing the corpse in a space ring .
