Chapter 9: Platform no: 9 3/4.

Harry and I exited the wand store and went to the Magical Menagerie, where pets were sold. When we reached the store, we saw Hagrid exit the store with a cage containing a snow-white owl. When he saw us, he wished Harry a happy birthday and gave him an owl as a present. Harry was happy and named the owl Hedwig. My family and I gave Harry an enchanted pendant said to protect from evil spirits.

"Stifen, which pet did you choose?" Harry asked, curious.

"I don't know. Let's see if I find anything interesting," I said and opened the door of the store. When we entered, the owls, cats, toads, and other pets present suddenly became silent. When the owner of the store saw the sight, he was shocked. This was the first time the store had become pin-drop silent because the pets present in the store always made sounds.

"Hey, Hagrid, did the store always get this silent?" I asked him. Suddenly, the store owner came and welcomed us. I looked around for a pet, but somehow, I couldn't choose one. Every pet's parent there was able to link with me due to my ability beast talk. I saw a Kneazle in sky blue color, and it was different from other Kneazles. I bought it as two colors in its eyes.

The shop owner explained that a Kneazle is a magical creature that resembles a cat but has some unique features that set it apart. Kneazles are highly intelligent, independent, and have a variety of magical abilities, such as the ability to detect untrustworthy people, navigate on their own, and even predict the weather. They have distinctive markings on their fur, such as stripes or spots, and have large, tufted ears. I named my Kneazle "Raza."

The next day, my family and I went to Kings Cross railway station, London, along with Harry. When we arrived at Platform 9, my father told Harry and me to pass through the wall between Platform 9 and 10. The wall felt like an illusion. After passing through the wall, Harry followed me, and my parents entered the station. My grandfather didn't come here; he went to Grindelwald's house.

After I'm sorted at Hogwarts, the Grindelwald family will once again become active, and its existence will be publicly known to everyone. My mother hugged me and gave me a chain that had the family crest of the Grindelwald family (the Deathly Hallows symbol), and my father gave me some Galleons. "Stifen, I know you like to make pranks on others, but be careful and don't cause any trouble for your grandpa Dumbledore." He hugged me, and my mother joined him because they never let me go far away and stay there for a long period. Even when the news of Dursley trying to attack me reached them, they nearly blew the house in anger.

"After this, they will move to the Grindelwald house. So for Christmas break, I will go to the Grindelwald house. When Harry heard about this, he became sad. I consoled him that I will visit him regularly and take him to my house. When we entered an empty compartment, placed our luggage, and sat inside, we started to talk about Diagon Alley because it is a new experience for us.

Suddenly, the door of the compartment was opened, and a red-haired kid entered. "Is it alright to sit here? Other compartments are full," he asked. Harry invited him, and he introduced himself as Ron Weasley. Harry introduced me to Ron, "Ron, this is Stephen Grindelwald, he is my friend." When Ron heard my name, he was shocked and asked me about my family.

I told him that his guess is right. I was Gellert Grindelwald's grandson. Suddenly, the atmosphere in the compartment was silent, and Ron continued staring at me. I interrupted him, "Is something written on my face?"

"No, it's just my father told me he is the first Dark Lord and one of the most dangerous Dark wizards," Ron replied with a serious face.

"Yes, that was once, not anymore. He is now trying to repent his mistakes by contributing to the wizard world," I answered him with a straight face. While the conversation was going on, the door opened again, and a girl with bushy brown hair asked, "Did anyone see a toad? A student named Neville Longbottom lost his toad," she said with a few other girls.

I replied, "No," and when she saw Ron trying to cast a spell, she suddenly became interested in magic and sat next to Ron. When Ron tried to cast the "Rat Tonic" on Scabbers, it didn't work. She started to explain how to cast spells, and Ron looked irritated and gave an expression of 'bla...bla...bla.'

Ron challenged her to cast a spell, and she casted "Oculus Reparo" on Harry's specs, and it worked. She introduced herself as Hermione Granger, and all three of us introduced ourselves one by one. When she heard my name, she was once again shocked and bombarded me with questions about my grandfather. Suddenly, Ron placed his hand on my shoulder with a facial expression of 'I know the feeling, buddy.' After I answered her questions about my grandfather, she turned to Harry and questioned him about his scar.

Ron and I took a breath of relief at the same time. Before Hermione arrived, Ron and we thought we would never become friends. I switched places with Hermione and left poor Harry to her. Ron and I shook our hands and laughed to ourselves, glad to have made a new unexpected friend on the Hogwarts Express. With the promise of a magical year ahead of us, we settled in for the rest of the journey to Hogwarts.
