A 28-year-old Sarath is reincarniated into the world of harry potter who is the grandson of Gellert Grindelwald, a powerful and dangerous wizard in the Wizarding World. He has inherited many of his grandfather's physical characteristics, including his distinctive hairstyle, which is described as sleek and slicked back, with a touch of silver at the temples. He also has piercing grey eyes, just like his grandfather. Despite his family's dark legacy, the boy is determined to forge his own path and use his magical abilities for good. However, he is constantly struggling with the weight of his family's history and the expectations placed upon him by those who know of his connection to Grindelwald. Author's notes: So this story will have slow updates as this idea was stuck in my head for a while, and I can't really find a fanfiction with this idea so I'm making one. You can even copy my idea since I don't know if I will put an end to this story. I will apologize in advance if there are grammar mistakes because English is my second language. I don't own any of J.K. Rowling's works, except my SI-OC character.

Chapter 8: Wand Chooses the wizard

After ordering the uniforms and casual clothes, Stephen and Harry exited the shop to purchase the remaining items needed before the customization of uniforms was finished. Harry asked Madam Malkin where they should buy textbooks. She told them to visit "Flourish and Blotts." After purchasing the required books from the store, Stephen and Harry went to the opposite shop and both bought ice cream and looked at the list of things they still needed to purchase. The remaining items were a wand and a pet.

(Stephen's POV)

"When Harry and I were talking about the galleons his parents left for him, Hagrid suddenly stopped at the goblin's desk and gave him the letter. 'Top secret' was printed on it along with the number 317. Harry and I went to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions. After we entered the shop, she took our measurements. I also bought some casual clothes, and following me, Harry also bought some casual clothes. She asked us to come and purchase our order after two hours, as it would take some time to customize our clothes.

Then we went to Flourish and Blotts to buy the books we needed for the entire year. After Harry saw the ice cream shop Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, we went there. Harry bought butter strawberry flavor ice cream, and I bought butterbeer flavor ice cream. While eating the ice cream, we went through the list of things we still needed to purchase. Only a wand and a pet were left."

Stephen and Harry walked through Diagon Alley and found a small shop. The exterior of the shop was fairly unremarkable, with a simple sign above the door bearing the name "Ollivanders" and the slogan "Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC." When Stephen and Harry opened the door, a bell rang. When they looked at the interior of the shop, Stephen saw thousands of narrow boxes stacked floor to ceiling, each containing a wand. The atmosphere was dimly lit, with the light filtering in through the dusty windows and highlighting the wand boxes. Stephen knew that Ollivander liked to surprise his customers by pulling a dramatic entrance. He also knew that Ollivander was ready to surprise his new young customers. So, he turned to the direction where Ollivander was hiding and greeted him. "Good afternoon, Mr. Ollivander," Stephen said, surprising him.

When Ollivander came and saw both Stephen and Harry, he was shocked. "Ah, yes. Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon, Harry Potter. It wasn't such a surprise when I saw who entered my shop, and you, Mr. Grindelwald."

"Stephen, just call me Stephen, Mr. Ollivander. And how do you know my surname is Grindelwald?" Stephen questioned Ollivander in surprise. He knew that Ollivander knew Harry because he was famous and his mother had bought a wand here, but he was surprised that Ollivander knew his name. Ollivander explained that he had met Gillert Grindelwald before and that Stephen resembled him quite a lot. After some discussion, Ollivander asked Harry and Stephen to show their dominant hand and measured them.

First, Harry watched as Olivander took a box from the shelf and opened it. "A wand made of holly wood with a dragon heartstring core, 9 inches. Try it," he said, handing the wand to Harry and asking him to swing it. The glass near them shattered. He then took another wand, "A wand made of maple wood with a unicorn tail hair core, 16 inches." Harry swung the wand and many wand boxes and papers flew all over the place. Olivander tried other wands, but none chose Harry. Finally, Olivander opened another box and gave the wand to Harry.

"A wand made of holly wood with a phoenix feather core, 11 inches." As Harry took the wand, his body started to glow from top to bottom. Olivander said, "The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It's not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you." Olivander also mentioned the twin core of the wand and its previous owner.

Next, Olivander took a box from the shelf and gave it to Stifen. "A wand made of oak wood with a unicorn tail hair core." When Stifen swung the wand, the wall near the door was blasted. Stifen immediately returned the wand. Olivander then tried another wand, made of vine wood with a dragon heartstring core. But before Stifen could swing it, Olivander stopped him and told him it was too sensitive.

After several tries, Olivander took a silver box from the back of the store and opened it. "A wand made of holly wood with a thunderbird feather core, 14 inches." The wand was white with gold embedded at the bottom. As Stifen took the wand, his body was surrounded by electricity, and from the tip of the wand, a thunderbird made of electricity was generated and disappeared. Stifen could feel a connection to this wand.

"Wands with Thunderbird feather cores are said to be capable of casting spells that are more powerful than usual, and they can also be used to cast spells that are particularly difficult or complex. They are known to be loyal to their owners. Holly wood is associated with protection, the ability to repel evil, and the power of transformation. It was one of my best works," Olivander told Stifen. Stifen purchased the wand, which cost 10 gallons, along with a cleaning kit.
