Chapter 457: Harry is a Horcrux

When he heard Sirius, Ivan vaguely remembered.

When he was looking for information on evil spirits in the library last term, he had seen some information related to this.

Because of his special interest in Chinese wizarding schools, he deliberately picked it up as bedtime recreation reading material.

Judging from the current known clues, Sirius said that the mobile wizarding school was probably the oldest and most mysterious in the world. Its history could be traced back more than 2,000 years, a thousand years before Hogwarts.

Ivan also speculated that the mysterious Oriental Magic Academy might be elsewhere in Tibet.

Harry and Ron were excited to hear Sirius say it.

Otherwise, when the Second Wizarding War started, no exchange program would be possible. At that point, many young wizards would have to leave Hogwarts and even flee the country.

Sirius said, "The big project coming up this year is a good start."

"What is it?" Harry asked curiously.

Ron whispered to Ivan and Harry, "Ever since he started working, he's been bugging us to ask him what the project was; but he refused to say anyway every time we did. Let me tell you; it's probably a display of thick cauldrons!"

Harry laughed and looked forward to the big project Sirius spoke of.

Unlike the two of them, Ivan knew it was the Triwizard Tournament, the traditional exchange program between the top three European schools.

This year, each school from Hogwarts, Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would select a "warrior" to complete the event. The winner would receive a great reward and bring great honor to their school.

With Ivan's current strength, if he put his name in the Goblet of Fire, it was not surprising that he would be the Hogwarts warrior.

However, he had not yet decided whether or not he would participate in the Triwizard Tournament.

The event itself, and the ultimate reward, was of little benefit to him.

Especially considering that Voldemort was probably plotting behind the scenes, Ivan was even less interested in participating.

Fourteen years ago, Harry's mother used her own life to cast a powerful protective spell on Harry.

It was the blood amulet bond, one of the most powerful magics of antiquity, inherited from the ancient wizards.

Therefore, Voldemort failed when he tried to kill Harry. He personally marked the enemy of his destiny.

When his own killing curse bounced back, he dropped a fragment of his soul into Harry's body.

In other words, Harry was now one of Voldemort's Horcruxes.

To completely eliminate Voldemort, Harry must die first. This was an indispensable step.
