Christmas and Yule Ball

It's almost Christmas; Mom, Daphne, and Astoria have been decorating the entire castle for the last few days. There is a very festive mood all through the castle, and as always, my mom and Astoria made all of the house elves wear Santa hats and Christmas sweaters.

Daphne and Astoria are also currently with me in the nursery room as I am playing, but more like entertaining Everett and Eleanor.

Both of the sisters are currently learning how to weave sweaters from my grandmother, which is very interesting. I have never seen Daphne so intent on learning something like this. Like Astoria, I completely understand, but for the first time, she was interested in some sort of normal or non-magical activity. The only thing she was interested in was cooking, and she got damn good at it too.

Daphne looks towards me and asks, "You know you always think about something while looking at me." To that, I said, "Well, I was thinking weaving sweaters was not something I thought you would be interested in." Daphne smiles and says, "I also thought you would never be good with kids as you always say, 'Why is everyone so immature?' But here we are, you taking care of two kids, and me weaving sweaters, and us doing something normal for once." I said, "We should do it more."

Well, it's Christmas today. I woke up early as usual and started my morning workout. Shortly after, I was joined by Daphne.

She came to me, hugged me, and then kissed me on the lips, then smiled and said, "Merry Christmas." I smiled and said, "Merry Christmas to you as well, but also that was amazing, so please do that more often."

We went with our morning routine and, after that, went on to get freshened up and came to the living room.

I was sitting there when Astoria yelled, "MERRY CHRISTMAS" and became a human rocket and launched herself at me. I groaned a bit and said, "Merry Christmas, what was that for?" I just saw her run and sit beside her sister, and I just knew it was both of their doing. Well, let's see how you handle my pranks, and Daphne looked at me with a worried gaze, and I just sat there and smiled menacingly.

Well, after that, Grandmother came and greeted us. We greeted her, and all of us hugged her and started talking about different things till my parents came with Everett and Eleanor and just handed the two babies to me and Daphne to care.

After that, we all exchanged presents. I got my mom and Daphne a gold with platinum encrusted chains with sapphire and emerald, and for Grandmother, a very beautiful but simple reading glasses. For my dad, an antique pocket watch. For Astoria, I got her a white kitten with sky blue eyes as she wanted one for herself after Daphne got her Nalia (name of her pet cat), and Astoria named hers Narnia. I know, creative.

Anyway, I got books from a lot of people, and I mean a lot. Daphne made me a scarf, mom made me a cap, and grandmother made me a sweater. They all made me wear it. Dad got me a diary with endless pages enchanted, which is pretty nifty, and I thought I need to learn these enchantments and charms just like the expansion charm and such.

Well, I got all of our friends books. Anthony and Michael got an ancient elementary charms and beginners spell-making guide respectively. Kevin and Terry got The Holyhead Harpies signed posters they fulfilled a wish of their lifetime horny bastard's. Stephen got an interesting book to read.

I got interesting books for Padme and Su and bracelets for Morag, Mandy, and Lisa.

Dumbledore got me an interesting book on different magics around the world, and I got him two nice pairs of socks.

After that, we had a very grand feast, and dad said something which I dreaded. We were invited to the Ministry's year-end Yule Ball. I just wanted to cry seeing the enthusiasm of Astoria and Daphne.

Well, days go by, and the dreadful day came. Grandmother, mom, and Daphne got to choose for me, and I had to wear it. Even though it is a wizard's robe, it has, you know how Grindelwald used to dress in the movies. It gives me those vibes, like a black three-piece suit and a red overcoat with golden inlays.

Daphne wore a vibrant red dress with a white wool coat, and she looked hot. Most of the time, she just looked plain beautiful, but now she looked hot.

Well, we arrived at the ball. Everybody wanted to talk with me, and a few were brave enough to ask Daphne and my mom to dance, but a glare from me and dad would shut them up.

I met with Neville, Blaise, and Theodore. Daphne went with Tracy, Susan, and Hannah.

After a while, we finally came home. Me and Daphne went to sleep together, and I spent the last of the remaining days till holidays were over. I spent most of the time with Everett and Eleanor, and finally, the day came for our departure. We were accompanied by my mom, dad, and Astoria to the station.

The train started to move, and we were finally on our way to Hogwarts and to continue our journey.
