It's finally the month of April, and just as canon, they were sent to detention, but not to the Forbidden Forest. Filch assigned the detention, but Hagrid took them to the Forbidden Forest. While they were there, they still somehow saw Quirrellmort, who I am assuming was there in search of a unicorn because he looks frail in class, almost like he is dying. Well, a lot of people noticed this and were concerned, but they can't do anything.
I have spent the remaining time studying wards, alchemy, and expansion spells.
Daphne has been very busy with her Transfiguration, Potions, and Ritual magic. She has become very good at it too, probably the best in Transfiguration and Potions in the entire school if you don't include the professors, and her ritual magic has been coming along nicely.
Along with all of the things, I still haven't found anything or any information on those damned vaults. Like, I am seriously considering if they even exist or if they have already been opened, and whatever was inside was taken. That may be one of the reasons why there is nothing about the vaults in the Room of Requirement.
If they at least existed, they would surely have something, I thought. "Huh, I am putting this on the back burner. I can't be bothered, as it will take a lot of time, or I am just on a wild goose chase," I muttered. Daphne said, "What? Did you just say something?" I turned to her and said, "Nothing, here, have some pudding." She didn't ask anything after that and went on to eat her pudding.
Well, from tomorrow onwards, our final exam begins, and I am not at all worried as I can give exams up to the 3rd year right now without any preparation, as they are going to be easy. But, 4th year onwards, it will be very hard.
Well, it's early morning, and we are currently in our morning workout session. "I can't believe I can do all of the stretching and running without getting much tired," Daphne said a bit proud of herself. "Good for you, now let's finish this quickly and get moving. We have finals from today onwards," she nodded in understanding.
Well, we freshened up, went towards the Great Hall, and my guy Stephen and Kevin are a mess, like they are a complete wreck. "Don't worry; it's not like both of you haven't studied," Padme said. Then Mandy said, "It's not like the end of the world if you don't get good grades, and they won't kick you out of school probably."
They became more tense. "PROBABLY!!" Stephen and Kevin said simultaneously. And Su said, "Not helping, Mandy" and Mandy just shrugged"."You both should at least eat your breakfast." Daphne said, and then Morag said, "Just do your best, and if you overprepare, you will get confused," and Lisa said, "Have some confidence; both of you can do it."
The rest of the boys were dining on the breakfast they were served, not even bothered by two of their friends who were dying here. Then Lisa looks at us and says, "Why don't you guys say anything?" I then look at both of them dead in the eye and say, "If you are going to die, give me your Chocolate Frog card collection." Then Michael asked, "If that's the case, Kevin I want your Holyhead Harpies poster." Terry then asked, "I won't ask for much; just give me all your money and properties and inheritance if you have any." Just hearing Terry's words, both of their souls left their bodies.
Daphne looked at me with her 'WTH' look, and I said, "It's a perfectly responsible response. I mean, they are going to die anyway, either after exams or we can just, you know, vanish them."
Her jaw dropped hearing my response, and then I took a spoonful of my butterscotch cake, fed it to her, and as soon as she tasted that, she just took it away from me. 'But I didn't even have a bite yet,' I thought, and after a bit more time, it was time to head to our exams.
First was Charms. The Charms exam consisted of attributing animation to an otherwise inanimate object. The students had to make a pineapple dance across Filius Flitwick's desk, and then the theory.
Well, Kevin bombed his exams; instead of making it dance, he literally just chucked it across the room, and the pineapple was smashed to pieces. Like, he made it fly so fast, he almost obliterated it. Unfortunately, Michael was standing right next to me, and his robes got splattered with pineapple juice and pieces on him, and I could only pray for Kevin and hope he gets through this ordeal.
Compared to Kevin, Stephen did a very good job in practical, almost as good as Hermione. I have noticed this, Hermione is so theory-based that she sometimes can't do practical properly, and for Harry, it's the opposite, and Neville is right in the middle, good in both but not the best in anything. I thought of a quote, 'Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.'
Well, Daphne and I performed very well, and I already saw O+ on our scores, so both of us are good.
Professor Flitwick called the rest of them one by one into his class to see if they could make a pineapple tap-dance across a desk, and by the time our turn was over, it was already lunchtime.
In the afternoon, we had our Potions exam, in which the students had to produce a Forgetfulness Potion. Snape didn't help; he made us all nervous, breathing down our necks while we tried to remember how to make a Forgetfulness Potion. Literally, he was breathing down my neck; I was about to backhand him so hard that he will see Jesus.
Anyway, after the exams were over, we, for some stupid reason, decided to discuss today's exams till it was dinner time. Then, Kevin and Stephen realized that they messed up and started crying and begged anybody to help them. Nobody did.
The next day, we had Transfiguration first and Herbology in the afternoon.
The Transfiguration exam consisted of transfiguring a being into an object; the students had to turn a mouse into a snuff box. Extra points were given for how pretty the snuffbox was, points were taken off if it still had whiskers.
Professor McGonagall watched us all turn a mouse into a snuff box, and Daphne for some reason got to turn it back perfectly fine extra points, I also got a chance to turn it back into the mouse for extra points. So, we did and got those extra points.
In the afternoon, Herbology exams were held, and it was easy; we just had to identify and care for magical plants, and we were done.
The next day was History of Magic. The test lasted for one hour, and the students were required to answer questions about the invention of the Self-Stirring Cauldron by Gaspard Shingleton. After an hour of answering questions about batty old wizards who'd invented Self-Stirring Cauldrons, we were free.
In the afternoon, we had a flying exam, just navigating an obstacle course and performing basic maneuvers.
The next day, the morning brought our Defense Against the Dark Arts exam. It was simply identifying defensive spells, but it seemed Professor Quirrellmort, as i jokingly referred to him in my head, could not do much with his frail appearance.
In the night, our final exam was Astronomy. First, we had to give a theory on understanding the night sky and celestial bodies. After that, observing and identifying stars and constellations, which was pretty simple.
The following day was very enjoyable, with no classes or obligations. I spent these few days just enjoying my life, knowing it won't be the same in the next few years. So, I made the most of it and spent a lot of time with Daphne.
Today is the day when Harry is supposed to face Quirrellmort. I had Effy put a few surveillance runes in the chamber, so I could watch the whole debacle. Surprisingly, it went very well. They didn't struggle much, except during the Snape trial. As always, Harry had to go ahead alone, facing off against Voldemort. Harry did something clever and didn't take the stone out of the mirror. When Voldemort rushed him, trying to strangle him, as he couldn't use magic and was very weak, the rest of everything happened the same.
Finally, it was June 28, and, as always, Gryffindor won the house cup. Ravenclaw was going to win, but most of us didn't have any reaction, and just a few immature ones complained a bit. Other than that, there was nothing else to do but wait for our results and depart for our homes. The results were posted shortly after lunch, and in our year, as always, Ravenclaw dominated the top 10.
I got all O+, except for Potions where I got an O, and Daphne got all O+, so she got all the bragging rights for the summer. If we look at the ranking, Daphne was first, and I was second. Morag was third, followed by Michael, and fifth was actually Hermione and Padme.
Hermione was glaring at us all the time, like we killed her cat.
Following them was Anthony, Lisa in seventh, Susan in eighth, Draco in ninth, and Terry in tenth. All the Ravenclaw first years were in the top 20. Fun fact, Harry and Neville actually got sixteenth and seventeenth place.
The next day, we all went to the Hogsmeade station and left for London, marking the end of the first year and the beginning of another journey that lies ahead.

Let me know if I rushed it a bit too much or if that was fine. I am going to focus on my One Piece fanfiction for a week, so I apologize for that.
