Chapter 43: Secrets

December 24, 11:45 PM. Akademie's kitchen.

Hanna and Helena were having dinner. Helena had cooked some fish, rice and lentil. For dessert, a chocolate pie and pudding.

They ate in silence. Since Ezekiel visit, Hanna had gone through a roller-coaster of emotions. Her brothers and sister were sent to missions overseas, and only her was playing house with someone that she didn't even know who it was. (I know now. The princess of Norway. Heh...) However, she also knew that she needed to go to CESAr before anything.

She was immersed in her on thoughts, when her hand biped. (Oh, Christmas.) She glanced at Helena, that had a smile on the face. "Merry Christmas Hanna." She broadened her smile. "Thanks... For you too." Helena nodded and started eating again. No sarcasm, no provocation. Nothing. Hanna did a 'no' with her head and also ate what was left on her plate.
