The Party

The graduation ceremony went off without any issues. We all hurried back to the community to get ready for the party. All we really had to do was set out the food. Get the barbeques ready and Get the music set up. None of that took very long, and soon we were ready for the party

At 4:30 p.m. I go upstairs and get dressed. I have decided to wear a beautiful sky blue dress with matching shoes. No heels, just can't do heels. Then I go down Stairs, when I get to the bottom mom Sky and Ariana all start applauding. I look up and start smiling. I can't help but think these three women are very important to me. I love all of them and I would never want anything to happen to them.

When I get over to them they take turns giving me hugs and telling me how proud they are of me. I tell them all thank you and I love you. I believe I shocked Sky when I said it because she pulled back with a shocked look on her face so I hug her again so she can get herself together. Then mom says," Oh, honey you look so beautiful. I can't believe you have finally graduated. Now we have everything ready why don't you go hang out with your friends, the others will be here soon."

" Sure mom, oh one more question. Who is going to man the barbeques?"

They all start laughing then mom says," Oh you kids will get a kick out of this, every adult male who has a barbeque has decided they are going to barbecue tonight. They have already decided who is going to do the steak, ribs, sausages and hot dogs, chicken, and they also have a vegetarian grill set up."

I couldn't help it I started laughing. Then the three of them joined in. I couldn't believe how much they are all doing for our graduation party. I tell myself to make sure to go and thank every cook tonight. And to mom I say," Well at least we will have plenty of meat tonight. And I'm glad someone thought to do a vegetarian grill. We do have a few vegetarian friends coming tonight. Okay I'm going to go outside now."

Once I get outside I go around to every griller I see. I give each one of them a hug and tell them all thank you. Then when I get to the last one. I not only give him a hug but I give him a kiss on the cheek as well. Then I tell him thank you for not only doing the grilling but for taking care of our vegetarian friends as well.

While I was doing this Mom, Sky, and Ariana were watching me. I don't know what they were talking about but whatever it was they were smiling at me when I walked over to my friends.

Soon our other friends started showing up, then the party really got started. Everyone thought it was so cool that we had different barbeque stations set up all over the party grounds. And it turns out a few of our friends were taking bets as to wether or not we would have a vegetarian grill set up. I took everyone over to Gabriel and showed them we did in deed have a vegetarian grill set up. I smiled at him as the others started clapping and cheering then they walked off to check out the music and other entertainment we had set up.

All in all the party was a great success. Everyone had a lot of fun and got to eat as much as they wanted. The only accident we had all night is when Destiny knock Star over and got overly excited during the karaoke competition. Because of flips they did everyone decided they won. And our friend Camron won first place in the car races, second place went to William, and third went to Amy.

At about eleven everyone went home. I guess we wore them out because no one wanted to go to any of her party parties. All in all it was a great party.

We cleaned up as much as we could and then everyone went to their houses.

When we got inside I gave everyone another hug and told them all it was a wonderful party and thank you. Then I went to bed.
