Guide My Way

The eighth book for my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, Kid Icarus Uprising, the MCU, Sherlock, Torchwood, Ace Attorney, A Certain Scientific Railgun, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, SAO, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, Kid Icarus Uprising, Sherlock, Torchwood, Ace Attorney, A Certain Scientific Railgun, and the MCU in there, all of us interacting with each other. The traveling, the hijinks, the running and traveling continues, and this could be the end for our heroes in the story.

The Time of the Doctor

(Open POV)

"Trenzalore. The final adventure to end it all. Time for me to sing one of my favorite songs sung by Hibiki Tachibana. Hibiki and the rest of the Symphogear wielders live on in my head. Their songs, their experiences, their memories. Even if I can't see them right now. How should I approach this song? Hmm, I should call Hibiki. And have her be the backing vocals." Jared said, taking out his iPhone 15 Pro Max and called Hibiki Tachibana. "I won't give up in the middle of striking against an enemy. At full throttle, I'll break through it."

"Without being restricted..." Hibiki said, her voice coming out of the phone's speaker.

A huge space fleet of Judoon, Terileptils, Silurians et al is orbiting an icy ringed planet. Three tones are being repeated over and over again.

"Each of us holds a different justice. But..." Jared said, wearing his AirPod Pros and still singing with Hibiki.

"For now we're brave..." Hibiki said, her voice coming out of the phone's speaker.

"...it's time for us to come together. With full control."

"I'll reflect upon..."

"...what I regretted..."

"...and fight against it..."

"That is how I'm feeling right now..."

"Wow. Wow. Wow."

(Jared's POV)

Spaceship...

The Doctor and I beamed into a large dark space, with the Time Lord carrying a Dalek eye-stalk.

"We bring proof of courage and comradeship. What is this ship and why are you here?" The Doctor asked.

"Can you please identify yourselves and give your planet of origin?" I asked, grabbing the Doctor's hand.

"Exterminate!" A Dalek yelled.

I'm wearing my Augma and immediately called Blake and Yang, "Blake? Yang?"

"Exterminate! Exterminate!" The Daleks said, angrily.

The angry pepper potts start firing. Their aim is awful at such a short range.

"Blake? Argh! They're making out! Yang?" I asked, squeezing the Doctor's hand.

The Doctor and I are beamed away.

"Exterminate!" The Daleks said.

Tardis...

"Blake, Yang. I know you two are a couple now. But every ship the Doctor and I go on, they shoot at us. For the love of God, the TARDIS is not a snog box! I said to put us on a ship. I didn't say to put us on a Dalek ship." I said, looking at Blake and Yang who were kissing on top of the TARDIS console in front of a damaged Cyberman's head attached to a stand on the console. "Stop kissing. Please. Don't put us on a Dalek ship while the Doctor is holding a Dalek eyestalk!"

The Doctor hits the Cyberman head with the eye-stalk, "Ow!"

"You didn't say where you wanted to go with the Doctor." Blake said, looking over at me.

"Have you two seriously forgotten why we're here? Just use your head." I said, as Blake went back to kissing Yang.

The Doctor takes the Cyberman head off the stand and paces with it, "It's not like you two have got a lot of alternatives. They're all here. Daleks, Sontarans, Terileptils, Slitheen, Noise, Life Fibers, Incubators, Vertexes, Angels, Chitauri, the Underworld Army, the Forces of Nature. And they're not even fighting, they're just parked. Why?"

"So? The message was received throughout the universe." Yang said, letting go of Blake for a second.

"Yes, yes, the message, the message. Even Jared and I can't translate it. I mean, why is everyone here if they don't understand it?" The Doctor asked.

"You and Jared are here."

"Yang, you know how OCD the Doctor and I are. It's been a hundred years since I last saw you two, Ruby, and Weiss. What's their excuse for being here? And what does this message even mean?" I asked, and Yang looked away to go back to kissing Blake on the TARDIS console.

The emergency phone outside rings.

The Doctor puts the head back on its stand, "Oh, no. And Handles. Remind us. We've got to patch the telephone back through the console unit. This is getting ridiculous."

"Attention. Information available." Handles said.

"Okay?" The Doctor asked.

"You must patch the telephone device back through the console unit."

"No, no. No, no, no, no. No, not now. Remind us later."

"When?"

"I don't know. Just later. Just pick a time."

"When?"

"I don't know. Just any old time. When you think we've forgotten." The Doctor said.

"When?" Handles asked.

"Just pick a random number, express that number as a quantity of minutes, and when that time has elapsed, remind us to patch the telephone back through the console unit."

"Affirmative."

"How those Cyber-evenings must fly." The Doctor said,

I opened the door, got the telephone and brought the handset inside, "Hello, you called the Tardis."

Clara's flat / Tardis...

Clara dashing between cooking and laying a table for dinner with Ruby and Weiss helping her whilst the three are wearing paper crowns from Christmas crackers.

"Emergency. You're my boyfriend." Clara said.

"Finally. I get to be your boyfriend. I might not be good at it. But I can try." I said, happily.

"No, no, you're not actually my boyfriend."

"Clara, the turkey isn't done." Ruby said, checking the oven to see the turkey is nowhere near ready.

"But the roast potatoes are." Weiss said, looking over at the stove to see the roast potatoes look done.

"Which is it? Am I your boyfriend or not Clara? This is a roller coaster of a phone call." I said, sadly.

"But I need a boyfriend really quickly." Clara said.

"I know. But I hope you're nicer to your next boyfriend. And I know who it is, Clara."

"No, shut up. Christmas dinner. Me cooking."

"So? Your point being?"

"So, I may have accidentally invented a boyfriend."

"Yeah. I did that once by sending super chats to virtual YouTubers. And there's no easy way to get rid of one. Once you're committed, that's it."

"No, not a VTuber. A pretend one, an imaginary one. And I said he'd be coming to Christmas dinner."

"Yeah. I think I see something, Raggedy Man." I said, when the scanner picked up an unidentified new vessel in orbit and I dropped the telephone receiver. "Let's go."

"Handles, Jared, that's a new ship. Okay, we'll take the Tardis this time." The Doctor said, smiling.

"Jared, I just need you to come for Christmas dinner. Just do that for me. Come to Christmas dinner and be my Christmas date." Clara said.

"Sorry. Missed that last bit." I said, picking up the phone for a moment, before dropping it and running out of the TARDIS console room. "Got to go. Can't let the Doctor be an idiot without me."

New spaceship...

The Tardis materialises, and the Doctor and I walk down a corridor carrying Handles.

"Okay, don't be alarmed, we come in..." The Doctor said.

"Shit." I said, as I see Cybermen.

"Alert. Alert." A Cyberman said.

"...peace. No." The Doctor said, frowning.

"Intruders detected. The intruders will be upgraded."

Lots of Cybermen leave their cubicles and start shooting. Really bad shots again.

"Argh! Sorry." The Doctor said, sadly.

The Doctor and I make it back to the Tardis. We get inside and the phone rings, so I pop out to get it again.

Clara's flat / Tardis...

"Jared, I need you. I didn't want to call Miku Kohinata and Shirabe Tsukuyomi! They were busy cooking Christmas dinner hours ago. Today, I'm cooking Christmas dinner in my flat alone without them!" Clara said, angrily.

"The Doctor, Blake, Yang, and I are being shot by Cyberman!" I said, worried.

"Well, can't we do both?"

"Ugh! Yeah. Why not?"

(Open POV)

Clara's flat...

Clara's little family is tucking in to starters and alcohol as Ruby and Yang are drinking hot chocolate whilst the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special is on the television. That makes it 5pm.

"Happy Christmas!" Someone on the TV said.

"How's the turkey doing?" Linda asked.

"Great. Yeah, yeah, it's doing great. Well, dead and decapitated, but that's Christmas when you're a turkey." Clara said, happily.

"Actually, maybe I will have a little more." Clara's gran said.

Clara refills her grandmother's glass, "There you go, Gran."

"Did you put it in early enough?" Clara's dad asked.

"Dad, Ruby put it in when you phoned me." Clara said.

"I emailed you some instructions. You didn't have to rely on one of your friends."

"Oh, you certainly did."

(Jared's POV)

Outside the block of flats...

"Finally." Ruby said, as the TARDIS materialises noisily outside Clara's block of flats.

"Took them a while." Weiss said, and she, Clara, and Ruby ran down the stairs and outside, losing their paper crowns in the wind.

"Whoops!" Clara said, worried.

I am standing outside of the TARDIS crossing my arms, "Girls, brace yourselves."

Tardis...

"Doctor, I so need you and Jared." Clara said, sadly.

The Doctor is without any clothing. Clara, Ruby, and Weiss have to turn their backs as Blake and Yang already have their backs turned.

"Clara!" The Doctor said, excitedly.

"No, stop, stop, don't move. Don't do anything." Clara said, frowning.

"Why? What is it? What's wrong?"

"You're naked."

"Yes, I am naked. I wondered if you'd notice." The Doctor said, smiling.

"Doctor, why are you naked?" Clara asked.

"It's because we're going to church. And I didn't want to change early. Team RWBY didn't want to change either." I said, pressing a button on the TARDIS console for the Doctor to be fully clothed again.

"Better?" The Doctor asked.

"Oh, that was quick." Clara said.

"Hologram clothes, projected directly onto your visual cortex."

"So you're still naked underneath?"

"Everybody's naked underneath."

"Doctor, don't say things like that. It's Christmas. Come on, let's meet Clara's family." I said, leaving the TARDIS with the Doctor and Clara. "Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang. Wait here."

Clara's flat...

"Hello, so, er, here he is." Clara said, as I grabbed her hand.

"Hey. It's nice to meet you all. Merry Christmas." I said, and Clara's grandmother is the only one to look directly at the Doctor.

"Hello, handsome. Anyone for Twister?" The Doctor asked, looking at Clara's grandmother.

"So, this is Jared. My boyfriend." Clara said, looking at me, then at the Doctor. "And this is the Doctor, his cousin. Isn't anyone going to say hello?"

"Hello." Clara's gran said, and her glass is empty again.

"Excuse me a moment. Listen, I've got an idea to break the ice. Why don't I project my clothes hologram onto their visual cortexes too?" The Doctor asked.

"So, to be clear, Doctor, no one except us can see your clothes?" Clara asked.

"Yes, and I'm starting to think it may be causing tension."

"Are we playing Twister now?" Clara gran asked.

"Doctor, Clara. Get in the kitchen." I said, letting out a sigh.

"Eh? Sorry." The Doctor said.

"Sorry. Jared's cousin is Swedish." Clara said.

Kitchen...

"Doctor, Jared, please." Clara said, sadly.

The Doctor looks at the aluminum foil in the oven, "Oh, that's never going to work, is it?"

"What's wrong? Do you think it's not done yet?"

"I think a decent vet would give it an even chance." The Doctor said.

"Okay. Well, use an app." Clara said, annoyed.

"An app?"

"Why would we need to use an app?" I asked, leaning against the wall.

"On your screwdrivers. App it." Clara said, looking between the Doctor and I..

"Most certainly not. They don't do turkey. Nothing does turkey. You'd need a time machine. Or some really good cooks." The Doctor said.

"What are you thinking, my Impossible Girl? Oh no..." I said, while Clara is still looking at the Doctor and I..

Tardis...

"Clara, you can't keep using the Tardis like this." I said, as I looked over at Clara.

"Like what?" Clara asked, still carrying the poor uncooked bird.

"Missed birthdays, restaurant bookings. Relying on Miku and Shirabe to help you cook all of your meals. Especially, if you don't have the TARDIS near you. And please, just learn how to use iPlayer." The Doctor said.

"Ooo, vortex cooking?" Clara asked, laying the carcass in the workings below the console.

"Yep, exposure to the time winds. It'll either come up a treat, or just possibly lay some eggs."

"Information available." Handles said.

"What's that?" Clara asked.

"Oh. It's part of a Cyberman. He'll get us to the church on time." Weiss said.

"I have developed a fault." Handles said.

"Well, what made Handles a Cyberman is gone. But there's still a lot of data banks inside." Blake said.

"Oh. We found it at the Maldovar market." Yang said, her hand on her hip.

We zoom back to the snow planet.

"Planet identified from analysis of message." Handles said.

"Right, cool. Go on then. Okay, tell us, what is the planet? Go on." The Doctor said, happily.

"Processing official designation. Processing."

"Okay, in your own time, dear. Don't rush."

"So why haven't you, Jared, and Team RWBY just gone down there and had a look?" Clara asked, looking at the Doctor.

"We can't. The whole planet is shielded. Even the TARDIS can't break through." I said, grabbing Ruby's hand.

"Gallifrey." Handles said.

"What did you say?" The Doctor asked.

"Gallifrey."

"What are you talking about? Gallifrey? What do you mean?"

"Confirmed. Planet designation, Gallifrey."

The Doctor grabs Handles and takes it to the scanner, "You see that? Gallifrey is my home. I know it when I see it. That is not Gallifrey."

"Doctor, are you okay?" Ruby asked.

"It's not Gallifrey. Gallifrey is gone." The Doctor said.

"Unless you saved Gallifrey, Doctor. You thought you might have done it." Ruby said, as I squeezed her hand.

"Well, I still have to save Remnant with Team RWBY." I said, and we looked out of the Tardis doors down at the white planet. "Saving Gallifrey is possible, Raggedy Man."

"Even if it survived, it's gone from this universe. That is not my home." The Doctor said, while we went back inside the console room. "It can't be."

There is a big fog horn blast outside.

"What's that?" Clara asked, as we looked out of the door again, at a big square Borg-style spaceship.

"Papal Mainframe. It's like a great big flying church. The first ship to arrive. They are the ones who shielded the planet. They can get us down there." The Doctor said, and he and I bowed at a large holographic face.

"A friend of yours?" Yang asked.

"That's Tasha Lem, the Mother Superious." I said, while the hologram beckons to us. "Oh, she's inviting us aboard."

"Why?" Weiss asked.

"Because I asked her. Swallow this." The Doctor said, handing Clara a pill.

"Swallow these, girls." I said, passing four pills to Team RWBY.

"What is it?" Clara asked, looking down at the pill.

"Your hologram projector. You can't go to church with your clothes on." The Doctor said.

The Tardis flies inside the mainframe.

Papal Mainframe...

"I don't feel like I'm wearing anything." Clara said, sadly.

"I know. Relaxing, isn't it?" The Doctor asked.

"What is this place?" Ruby asked.

The Doctor, Clara, Team RWBY, and I walk between two rows of military personnel.

"The Church of the Papal Mainframe, security hub of the known universe." The Doctor said.

"A security church?" Yang asked.

"Yep. Keeping you safe in this world and the next. I venerate the exaltation of the Mother Superious." The Doctor said.

The Doctor and I bow low. Clara and Team RWBY curtsey. A male Colonel standing near the Mother Superious greets us.

"Welcome to the Church of the Papal Mainframe. Your nudity is appreciated." Albero said.

"Hey, babes, sweetheart." Tasha said, looking between the Doctor and I.

"Loving the frock." The Doctor said, happily.

"Doctor, is that a new body? Give us a twirl."

"Tash, this old thing? Please, I've been rocking it for centuries."

"Nice though, Doctor. Tight." Tasha said, as she looked between Team RWBY and I. "Jared, I see you've reunited with Team RWBY."

"Going through the Ever After was a bit of a hassle, Tasha." I said, and I looked over at Clara. "I know Neo will find herself again. Even so, I can't help but feel bad for the girl."

"So, er, hello. Also here." Clara said, frowning.

"Clara, Team RWBY, this is Tasha Lem, the Head of the Church of the Papal Mainframe. Tash, ho, ho, ho, ho. These are our, our associates, Clara Oswald and Team RWBY. Miss Clara Oswald and Team RWBY." The Doctor said.

"We'll go to my chapel. All honours in place, no sacrifices required." Tasha said.

Corridor...

"It was Tasha who shielded the planet. But you could sneak me and Jared down there, couldn't you, Tash?" The Doctor asked.

"I would have conditions." Tasha said, looking between Clara and Team RWBY. "I have confidential matters to discuss with the Doctor and Jared. Would you excuse us?"

"Anything you have to say to us, you can say in front of Clara and Team RWBY." The Doctor said.

"Well, you could say a lot of it. Maybe half of it. Or a tiny bit. Um, Clara, could you stay out there? And girls, can you look after Clara? Please..." I said, smiling.

"No worries. You three get yourselves a room." Clara said, happily.

"Yes, quite. No, stop it." The Doctor said.

"Boss of the psycho space nuns. So you, Doctor."

Tasha, the Doctor, and Jared go into the private chapel.

"Well." The Doctor said.

Then Clara sees a mouthless creature in a suit, with three long fingers, approaching her and Team RWBY.

"Doctor? Jared?" Clara asked.

Chapel...

"That altar looks like a bed." The Doctor said.

"That bed looks like an altar." Tasha said.

"Yep." The Doctor said, sitting on the bed.

Tasha offered me a goblet of blue liquid and I grabbed it from her, "Do you know what is in there?"

"Baja Blast." I said, drinking the Baja Blast. "Haven't had one in a while. Thanks Tash."

"You're welcome, sweetheart." Tasha said, reaching across and touching a panel on the headrest, or is it a footrest, and the three tone message plays. "Thought you could go for the Energy version."

"That might be helpful. Knowing how today will go."

The three of us get inside each other's personal space.

"That message is transmitting through all of space and time. What did it make you both feel?" Tasha asked, looking between the Doctor and I.

"Feel?" The Doctor asked.

"Every sentient being in the universe who detected that signal felt something. Something overpowering." Tasha said.

"What kind of overpowering feeling?" I asked, still drinking my Baja Blast.

"Fear. Pure, unadulterated dread."

(Open POV)

Corridor...

The Silent passes behind a screen.

"It's a Silent." Weiss said, when the Silent appears again.

"I saw you and then I forgot you. How does that work?" Clara asked, as the Silent goes behind another screen and she and Team RWBY forgets it.

Chapel...

"Okay. What's the signal? And where is it coming from?" Jared asked.

"It's a settlement. Human colony, level two. A farm, basically." Tasha said.

"Farms. I like farms. Reminds me so much of Patch. Has anyone popped in to see what's there?"

"Any one ship lands, the rest will follow. There will be bloodshed. Fortunately we got here first, shielded the planet. We maintain the truce by blocking all of them."

"Daleks, Cybermen, one of that lot, could break through your defences." The Doctor said, sadly.

"Perhaps. But they're afraid, remember? Nobody wants to go first."

"Well, the Doctor and I want to be first." Jared said, smirking.

"I was counting on it." Tasha said, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

Corridor...

"Confess." The Silent said, coming up behind Clara and Team RWBY, startling them. "Confess."

"What are you? Why do I keep forgetting you?" Clara asked.

"That's how they work." Blake said, as there are now more of the Silents. "If only we had the eye drives."

"Those are in an aborted timeline." Yang said.

Clara and Team RWBY back up to the chapel door.

"Confess. Confess." The Silent said.

"What?" Clara asked, and she and Team RWBY ran into the chapel.

(Jared's POV)

Chapel...

"Clara? Girls? You okay?" I asked, looking between Clara and Team RWBY.

"Fine. Yeah, fine. Sorry." Clara said, sadly.

"Right. This is my personal teleport. I can put you down just outside the town. Find the source of the message and report back to me in one hour. And on your lives, Doctor, Jared, you will cause no trouble down there." Tasha said.

The Doctor, Ruby, Weiss, and I enter the 'confessional' style teleport box.

"When do I get into trouble with the Doctor or Team RWBY?" I asked, looking between Ruby and Weiss.

"Um. Don't answer that." Ruby said, frowning.

"Yeah. Best not." Weiss said, drawing the curtain.

Tasha pulls it back and holds out her hand.

"What?" The Doctor asked.

"I'm not an idiot. Everyone in this church is trained to see straight through holograms." Tasha said.

"Ah. Great." Clara said, annoyed.

"Give now. None of you are taking any technology of any kind down there." Tasha said.

"Ugh. What can the Doctor and I do with keys? Bumblebee and my Impossible Girl. Get in the other one." I said, looking at Clara, Blake, and Yang.

"Jared, you and the Doctor could summon your Tardis."

"The Tardis doesn't work by remote. Fine. If it makes you feel any better, there we are." The Doctor said, rolling his eyes.

The Doctor and I give our TARDIS keys to Tasha as Clara, Blake, and Yang go into the other cubicle.

Tasha works the teleport controls, "Remember. I want you two back in one hour."

Forest...

Snow is falling all around as the Doctor, Clara, Team RWBY, and I beam in.

"Oh, cold. Very cold." Clara said, trying to warm herself up.

"Okay, don't worry. There's a heat loss filter in your hologram shell. It'll kick in, just give it a moment. So, sweet little town covered in snow, half the universe in terror. Why? Why?" The Doctor asked.

"Oh, my God!" Clara said, happily.

"What?" Weiss asked.

Clara has spotted an arm sticking out of the snow, "There's something under the snow. It's..."

"What is it?" Ruby asked.

"It's cold." Clara said, smiling.

"Shit. Clara, Team RWBY. Just stand back, Please." I said, grabbing Ruby's hand.

"It's stone. It's just stone. It's only a statue."

"Hey! Ice Queen! Get away from it!" I said, when the Weeping Angel's arm grabs Weiss' ankle. "Ruby, Weiss, Blake, keep looking at it. Don't look away. Don't even blink!"

"What is it?" Clara asked.

"Crap. I forgot that there's a Weeping Angel under the snow. It looks like a statue but isn't one. Weiss, can you get your foot out?" I asked, looking at Weiss.

"No. That's only if I can get it out of my shoe." Weiss said.

"Weiss, you're not wearing a shoe." Blake said.

"That's a good point."

"Okay, everyone, pull hard. One, two, three!" Ruby said, angrily.

Weiss comes free and the seven of us tumble backwards. Lots of Angels are starting to emerge from the snowdrifts.

"They're climbing out of the snow. Oh, God!" Clara said, worried.

"Uh...keep looking at them. At all of them." I said, looking at all of the Weeping Angels.

"Why?" Clara asked.

"Quantum locked lifeform. It can only move if it's unobserved." The Doctor said.

"What is it doing here?"

"They're doing the same as everybody else. They must have gotten past Tasha's shield." Yang said, scoffing.

We are surrounded, and cannot look at every Angel all of the time.

"Keep looking!" Ruby yelled.

The Angels advance.

"I can't. I can't see. The snow's in my eyes." Clara said.

"I just need to bring the Tardis down." The Doctor said.

"You can't fly it remotely."

"No, but it can home in on the key."

"But Doctor, she took your key!" Clara said, worried.

"She took one of his." I said, as the Doctor pulls off his wig to reveal a spare glowing Tardis key.

Tardis...

"Engines activating." Handles said.

The Tardis materialises around the Doctor, Clara, Team RWBY, and I.

"The old key in the quiff routine. Classic." The Doctor said, putting his wig on Handles.

I closed my eyes, and entered the Astral Dimension. I entered the parallel dimension where my soul exists outside of my body.

"There it is." I said, flying over to a copy of the Darkhold and placed it inside my backpack for later. "I'm sorry, Doctor Strange. I really am."

I then re-entered my body, knowing not a lot of time had passed.

"Okay, homing in on the mysterious message. Ooo yes, I like that. The mysterious message." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, you've, um, you shaved your head." Ruby said, sadly.

"Yep. Clever plan to get us past the shield." The Doctor said.

"Did you get bored one night?" Yang asked.

"Yeah, tiny bit bored."

"Is that what happened to your eyebrows? Did you lose them after shaving your head?" Weiss asked.

"No, they're just delicate. Right, setting us down near the signal source. I'm going to turn the engines on silent." The Doctor said, flicking switches on the TARDIS console. "Don't want to make a fuss."

"Put it back on." Clara said, tossing the Doctor his wig.

"Why?"

"Your ears are like rocket fins." Clara said.

"I know."

Town...

"Oh, it's good to be wearing clothes again. That's so much better, don't you think?" Clara asked.

"It is." I said, and we are dressed for the weather.

Team RWBY and I are wearing the clothes we wore while traveling around Atlas. The Doctor scans everything with his screwdriver. The trees are decorated with lights so the village has electricity at least.

"Now, what do we make of this place? It's two o'clock in the afternoon. Must be very short days here. The message is coming from that tower." The Doctor said, while two residents walk towards us. "Hello! Hello, there. Right, we're a couple from the next town. My name's probably Hank or Rock, something like that."

"Or Daisy?" Clara asked.

"Or Peach. I hope Super Mario Bros Wonder is good." I said, happily.

"Shut up. Hello, good to meet you. Nice snow." The Doctor said, smiling.

"Most pleasant to meet you too." Abramal said.

"Most pleasant. Most pleasant." Marta said.

"I'm the Doctor. I'm a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. I stole a time machine and ran away and I've been flouting the principal law of my own people every since. That wasn't quite what I was meant to say!" The Doctor said, angrily.

Everyone laughs.

"I'm an English teacher from planet Earth, and I've run off with a man from space and a man from a parallel Earth because I really fancy..." Clara said.

"I think, perhaps, you should stop talking till you get used to it." Marta said.

"Used to what?" Ruby asked.

"What did you say your name was?" Marta asked.

"Bubbly personality masking bossy control freak." Clara said.

"I'm wearing a wig! No, ah, I see. Yes, of course. It's a truth field. Oh, that is so quaint. I haven't seen a truth field in years. I'm wearing a wig." The Doctor said.

"No one can lie in this town. Especially this close to the tower." Abramal said.

The couple walk on.

"Hang on. Doesn't that make life a bit difficult? With this truth field here." Weiss said.

"Not at all." Marta said.

"Yes." Abramal said.

"So, what is this town called?" Blake asked.

"It's Christmas." Marta said.

"It's July." The Doctor said, checking his watch.

"No, the town. The town is Christmas. That's what it's called." Marta said.

"Be happy here. Be well." Abramal said.

"How can a town be called Christmas?" Clara asked.

"I don't know. There's one in Michigan. Well, why do we even have Easter Island?" I asked.

"This town looks nice. I would hate to find out what's wrong with it." Yang said, happily.

The three tones sing out across the roof tops.

Tower...

"Finally. What took you so long? After encountering multiple Spider-Men, it brought me to where it all started." I said, looking at something I know so well. "To where I ended up having sea salt ice cream with my best friend. And the Doctor had fish fingers and custard."

"Sea salt ice cream? Fish fingers and custard? Jared? What's wrong? It's only a crack in the wall." Clara said, walking up to me.

It is The Crack, the time field caused by the exploding Tardis in the Pandorica Opens / Big Bang stories, that haunted the first season with Amy Pond.

"We knew. We always knew it wasn't over." The Doctor said.

"What is it?" Clara asked.

"A split in the skin of reality." The Doctor said, as he touches it, he remembers other times the crack was there. "A tiny sliver of the 26th of June, 2010. The day the universe blew up."

"That date is one of the temporal junction points for the entire space-time continuum. The other two involved one of my best friends turning left or right at an intersection in 2007 and the other on November 12th, 1955." I said, letting out a sigh.

"Missed that. The day the universe blew up."

"It's okay, my Impossible Girl. The Doctor and I rebooted the universe. We put it all back together."

"That's good."

"Well, it was my Tardis that blew it up in the first place. And Jared couldn't stop it, even with his foreknowledge, because that event was fixed. We felt a degree of responsibility. But the scar tissue remains. A structural weakness in the whole universe." The Doctor said, looking at the crack in time. "Whoa! And someone's trying to get through it from outside our universe, from somewhere else. Of course. Of course. It makes sense."

"It does?" Clara asked.

"How?" Ruby asked.

"Yes. If you were trying to break through a wall, you'd choose the weakest spot. If you were trying to break into this universe, you'd choose this crack, because. No. If you were trying to break back into this universe." The Doctor said, looking at Handles. "You said Gallifrey. Why did you say Gallifrey?"

"Analysis of message composition indicates Gallifreyan origin, according to TARDIS data banks." Handles said.

"But Doctor. You said Gallifrey was gone." Weiss said.

"No. I said it was in another universe. The message is coming through here. The truth field is too, at a guess. If it's the Time Lords. If it's the Time Lords." The Doctor said, taking a large round item from his trouser pocket. "Seal of the High Council of Gallifrey. Nicked it off the Master in the Death Zone."

"That sounds like a fun adventure." I said, letting out a sigh.

"It was. Jared, you would have liked Tegan." The Doctor said, looking at the large round item again. "There is an algorithm imprinted in the atomic structure. Use it to decode the message."

The Doctor puts the Seal on Handles' forehead.

"Message decoding. Message analysis proceeding. Information available. The message is a request for information." Handles said.

"Ugh. It's a question. Why can't you say it's a question?" Weiss asked.

"It is being projected through all of time and space on a repeating cycle." Handles said.

"The oldest question in the universe, hidden in plain sight." I said, looking at Team RWBY.

"Warning. Translation will be available to all lifeforms in range. Translation follows. Doctor who?" Handles asked, and he makes slightly different voices each time. "Doctor who? Doctor who? Doctor who? Doctor who? Doctor who? Doctor who?"

The Daleks hear it and the Cybermen.

(Open POV)

Papal Mainframe...

"Doctor who? Doctor who?" A voice asked, over the speakers.

"Patch me through to the Doctor and Jared. Now!" Tasha yelled.

Tower...

"A question only Jared and I could answer. A truth field to make sure we're not lying. If I give my name, or if Jared gives my name, they'll know they've found the right place and that it's safe to come through." The Doctor said.

"The Time Lords? Okay, so what then? If you answer the question and they come back, what happens?" Clara asked.

Jared gives Clara a short round device, "Clara, girls, take this to the TARDIS. One of you should put it into the charger slot for the Doctor's sonic."

"Why?" Clara asked.

"Hell. All hell breaks loose. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang. You know what happened at Atlas. This is what will happen again if the Time Lords come back." Jared said, sadly. "And there's half of the universe up there, ready to fire."

"Now please, go to the Tardis and just do as Jared says." The Doctor said.

Clara and Team RWBY run.

"Doctor." Tasha said, over the speaker.

Town...

"Speak with me." Tasha said, while her holographic face hangs large in the sky. "Doctor! Jared! Face me now!"

"I can't believe they're doing this." Weiss said, scoffing.

"Well, they're trying to keep us safe." Yang said.

Clara runs into the Tardis with Team RWBY.

TARDIS...

"Is this the best way of doing it?" Ruby asked, as Clara put the device into the charger.

"Yeah." Blake said, frowning.

Bell chamber...

"Doctor! Jared!" Tasha said, her voice over the speaker.

The Doctor and Jared go up to the bell chamber above the clock face, which is very open to the elements and appears to house just the one bell.

"Jared, you've been hiding the truth the entire time. This planet, what's it called?" The Doctor asked, looking at Jared.

"Doctor, I'm sorry to say this. I've been wanting to avoid this for ages. This planet is Trenzalore." Jared said, grabbing the Doctor's hand.

Tardis...

"Okay, is that it? Jared, are you doing a clever thing with the Doctor?" Clara asked.

The Tardis engines are running.

Bell chamber...

"Doctor, if you speak your name, or if Jared speaks your name the Time Lords will return." Tasha said.

"So what? If the Time Lords return. They'll come in peace." Jared said, squeezing the Doctor's hand.

"It doesn't matter. They will be met with a war that will never end. The Time War will begin anew. You know that, Doctor, Jared. And Jared, ages ago, you told me what happened at Atlas. Do you want it to happen here?" Tasha asked.

Tardis...

The engines stop.

"Done." Clara said.

And Clara and Team RWBY run outside to the Powell Estate.

Outside the block of flats...

"No. Don't you dare. No, no!" Clara said, worried.

The Tardis is starting to dematerialise as Clara puts her key into the lock with Team RWBY hanging on to the side of the TARDIS.

Bell chamber...

"They're asking for our help!" The Doctor said, angrily.

"And if you two give it, war will be the consequence. I will not let that happen, at any cost. Doctor, speak your name, or have Jared speak your name, and this world will burn." Tasha said.

"Nope, Trenzalore won't burn, Tasha. This planet is protected as well as the town of Christmas." Jared said, ringing the bell.

Town...

The residents gather. The Doctor and Jared come out of the Tower.

"So, you lot, a quick word, thank you. Spot of news. Christmas has a new sheriff and deputy. Hello, everyone. I'm the Doctor and this is Jared Shay." The Doctor said, smirking.

Papal Mainframe...

"Attention. Attention all Chapels and Choirs of the Papal Mainframe. The siege of Trenzalore is now begun. There will now be an unscheduled faith change. From this moment on, I dedicate this church to one cause. Silence. The Doctor will not speak his name, and Jared won't speak the Doctor's name, and war will not begin. Silence will fall!" Tasha yelled.

"Silence will fall! Silence will fall." Everyone in the Papal Mainframe said, at the same time.

Town...

"Go extreme..." Jared said, still on the phone call with Hibiki Tachibana.

"...go extreme..." Hibiki said, her voice coming out of Jared's iPhone 15 Pro Max speaker.

"...and place your thoughts into that iron fist. Together, we're gonna unleash our power! I trust! My blooming courage..."

"Shakin' hands..."

"I won't just grab it..."

"Shakin' hands..."

"I want..."

"...this fist..."

"...to connect and open that door! I believe! My blooming courage..."

"Shakin' hands..."

"I beg to differ on those beliefs..."

"Shakin' hands..."

"Come..."

"...now..."

"...and for that someone. I'll scream out 'Even so!'"

A set of footprints are appearing in the snow on the road into town.

"Jared! Gleam Eyes is here!" Yui said, flying near Jared.

Jared took out his dual swords and casted a spell so he can see the upper half of the boss from Sword Art Online, "Thank you, Yui. How's the others doing?"

"Mommy and daddy? They're doing great. When are you coming back?" Yui asked, hovering above Jared in her pixie form.

"I don't know. It's a surprise that a boss from SAO ended up here. How did it break through?" Jared asked.

"I don't know."

Gleam Eyes' tail hits the side of the semi-visible vehicle. Whoosh, kaBOOM!

"The Church of the Papal Mainframe apologises for your death. The relevant afterlives have been notified." Albero said, his voice coming out of the speakers.

"Even if there is something funny about the enemy Grit your teeth and with determination, break through it..." Jared said, still singing along with Hibiki.

"...with justice..." Hibiki said, her voice coming out of Jared's phone speaker.

"There is no good or evil when it comes to landing a single blow. I'm prepared..."

"...to change..."

"...this sinking soul. Destiny's..."

"...gear..."

"...may become..."

"...slightly off..."

"But friends can absolutely make you feel... better."

"Wow. Wow. Wow."

The Silverwing, a boss from NewWorld Online that the Maple Tree Guild defeated is frozen in time. The giant ice bird boss is floating above the town, with a message in its eyelids being With Love from Jared written on them.

"I won't yield." Jared said, his iPhone 15 Pro Max near his ear.

"I won't yield." Hibiki said, her voice coming out of Jared's phone speaker.

"...as our hands are connected. What if I were to be smothered by... another encounter. I trust! But my heart..."

"Shakin' hands."

"Can't see our bond..."

"Shaking hands."

"I won't..."

"...let go..."

"...of this beating duet. I believe! I beg to differ about this destiny."

"Shakin' hands."

"Ever falling apart."

"Shakin' hands."

"Come..."

"...now..."

"...with a 'what do I do now?'. Then I'll continue to scream 'Even so!'"

The children are playing a game of blind man's bluff. The blindfolded boy wanders around a little, then hears timbers creaking.

"Are you there? Hello? Am I getting warm?" Barnable asked, removing his blindfold to look up at a Grimm before running away. "There's another one!"

The Hound's extendable arm misses Barnable.

"There's another one! There's another one!" Barnable said, ringing alarm bells and the townspeople came out. "There's another one! Doctor, Jared, Doctor, Jared! There's another one!"

"Get the Doctor and Jared. Get the Doctor and Jared." The Hound said.

An older Doctor, leaning on a cane, while Jared is using power from the Dark Dimension that keeps him looking young, and the two come out of their Tower home.

"Where are they?" The Hound asked.

Jared throws a wooden rifle to Barbable, "There you go, Barnable."

"Thanks." Barnable said, smiling.

"It's working now. Talk about old times, eh. Nice action for a gun. Don't leave it out in the rain again, okay?" Jared asked.

A wheeled toy is tossed to another child.

"Fixed the wheels and the antigrav." The Doctor said.

"The anti what?" A girl asked.

"The Doctor went a bit far with the repair. What do we have today? The Hound? One of Salem's lackeys. Don't you move one step further. I haven't seen one of you in ages. Nice. Like it." Jared said, helping the limping Doctor over to their foe.

"No tech, since you're a creature of Grimm. Doesn't set off the alarms upstairs." The Doctor said.

There is a brief High Noon moment between the town sheriff, his deputy, and the newcomer.

Jared shoots a Dust bullet out of Juliet's Rose before the Hound manages to raise one of its arms, "One bit of tech next to my virtual reality headset and the Doctor's sonic screwdriver allowed in. These three items got in before the truce. Now, I just send out a spell that any mage will detect within the vicinity. Now, as we're standing in a truth field, you will understand I cannot be lying. If you like, you can sense my Aura levels, verify that's the spell I cast."

"Spell verified." The Hound said, turning into stone as it looked down at the bullet that went through its chest.

"Yes. I should probably mention that I haven't used this weapon in ages. You send your friends up there a message from the Doctor and Jared. You tell them the Doctor and Jared stays." Jared said, prodding the Hound with his scythe and it falls backwards.

"Next." The Doctor said.

The village has a party to celebrate this triumph.

"Grab my hand and don't let...go. Words of sorrow can cut through the sky." Jared said, his phone still near his ear.

"And there's me arm-wrestling a Draconian. Jared was doing some karaoke with Symphogear in the meantime with help from his headset. I remember that." The Doctor said, happily.

"That cruel joke is like horrible laughter. But, I'll appear, connecting everything through my singing..." Jared said, singing away.

"Christmas is defended." The Doctor said, while Jared pins up children's drawings of their defeated enemies in the Tower.

"I trust! My blooming courage." Jared said, turning on FaceTime to look at Hibiki.

"Shakin' hands." Hibiki said, on screen.

"I won't just grab it."

"Shakin' hands."

"I want..."

"...this fist..."

"...to connect and open that door!"

"You've got to be the drunk giraffe. You've got to commit! Don't be cool, guys. Cool is not cool." The Doctor said, happily.

"Cool is not cool!" The children said, at the same time.

"And what's the dance we're doing?"

"The drunk giraffe!"

"The drunk giraffe. Yeah, it is. Merry Christmas. Give me a hug. Bring it in." The Doctor said, as the children hugged him.

"Yeah!"

The Doctor and Jared mingles.

"I will not forget the moment we made a promise, I'll hold it dear and then close my eyes. I'll go ahead, no matter what darkness follows; I will ascend! When will the day return when skies are clear again? As I lost my grip, the future became just a dream out of reach... The years went by; the shadows grew along with me, but I'll keep on fighting on; along this path the world hands me. As the time flies by, the clocks begin to chime; as they sound the beginning of our new world. But no matter what, I will not be afraid; I'll use my feelings to open up that door! Now's the time to start; I'm running. My heart is chasing the future that is shining so bright! I'll never stop, even if the path ahead pauses all of time! As I look above to the sky, I see a bright new blue, it's clear now; we'll definitely see this through... I'll never give up the fight! We'll be alright!" Jared said, singing another song.

Later...

"So, how's your father's barn Barnable?" Jared asked.

"Doctor, you've fixed the leak all right, but he says it's bigger on the inside now." Barnable said, smiling.

"Shush, they'll all want one." The Doctor said, smirking.

There is the sound of a wheezing time rotor.

"What is it? What's that noise?" Barnable asked.

The Tardis is trying to materialise.

"Where the hell have you been for three hundred years?" Jared asked, walking to the TARDIS with the Doctor.

"Ha!" The Doctor said, excitedly.

"What's that?" Barnable asked.

"It's my ship."

"Your what?"

"It's my TARDIS. That's how Jared and I got here in the first place."

"Does this mean you two are leaving?"

"Nope. We're not going anywhere. Promise." Jared said, while the TARDIS fully materialises, with Clara still on the outside holding her key in the lock and Team RWBY holding on to the outside of the TARDIS.

The Doctor taps Clara on the back with his cane.

"What the hell are you doing here with Team RWBY?" Jared asked, looking at Clara.

"We were in space." Clara said, sadly.

"Well, you and Team RWBY were in the time vortex. She must have extended the force field. No wonder. No wonder she's late, dragging you lot around." The Doctor said.

The Doctor, Clara, Jared, and Team RWBY walk away from the Tardis.

"You tricked us." Clara said, looking at Jared.

"We saved you. All five of you." Jared said, taking out some chocolate chip cookies to snack on them.

"You and the Doctor didn't even say goodbye!"

"Clara! I'm really pissed! The only reason we didn't say goodbye was to save you and the rest of my family!"

"Well, I am not even talking to you!"

The Doctor, Clara, Team RWBY, and Jared laugh and hug.

(Jared's POV)

Tower...

"Ha." Clara said, looking at the drawings and our separate workbenches. "Oh, Doctor, Jared. Both of you are fixing toys and fighting monsters."

"Well, the turkey isn't done yet." Ruby said, frowning.

"Is it still asking the question?" Weiss asked.

"Oh. That. It never stops, Ice Queen. All of you should come upstairs. It's almost time." I said, grabbing Ruby's hand.

"What for? Why do we need to go upstairs?" Blake asked.

"For dawn. Light here only lasts for a few minutes. None of you should miss it."

Bell chamber...

The Doctor carries Handles up the stairs. A small fire is burning in the chamber.

"Well, it's a standoff. They can't attack in case Jared and I unleash the Time Lords, and we can't run away, because they'll burn this planet to stop the Time Lords." The Doctor said.

"You know what's good? I finally get to do what you wanted to do, Ruby. Before everything else that was bad happened." I said, squeezing Ruby's hand. "After all of these years, I found somewhere that needs me and the Doctor to stick around. A town called Christmas."

"It could have been worse." Blake said.

"Right, there you go, buddy. Comfy?" The Doctor asked, trying to make Handles comfortable.

"Comfort is irrelevant." Handles said.

"How's that, is that better?"

"Affirmative."

"You just take it easy, buddy. He's getting old. We do our best for him, but we just can't get the parts, you know. Hey, I know the feeling." The Doctor said.

I passed sticks for Team RWBY to roast marshmallows with me on the open fire.

"Doctor? Jared? Where did you get those?" Clara asked, looking between the Doctor and I.

"We have a supplier. Mostly to help my sweet tooth." I said, letting my Aura keep me warm. "Raggedy Man. What's your favorite marshmallow flavor again?"

"It's the pink ones. The pink ones are best." The Doctor said.

"I agree. Strawberry. Reminds me of you, Ruby."

"Oh. You've been thinking of me for three hundred years." Ruby said, smiling.

"I have developed a fault." Handles said.

"Hey, don't you worry, Handles. you're just dreaming. The sun's coming up very soon. You just hang on in there." The Doctor said.

"I have developed a fault. I, I have developed a fault."

"Hey, Handles. Come on. Come on. One more dawn, you can do it. You've got it in you. Come on, just hang on in there."

"Attention. Emergency. Attention."

"Handles, what is it? What's wrong?" I asked, looking down at Handles.

"Urgent action required. You must patch the telephone device back through the console unit." Handles said, as his lights go out.

"Come back. Handles? Handles. Oh. Thank you, Handles, and well done. Well done, mate." The Doctor said.

The sun rises between the mountains, and birds sing to greet it.

"So, Clara, Team RWBY? What do you think of our new place? We come up here once a day for a few minutes. Mostly to remind us of what we're protecting." I said, looking between Clara and Team RWBY.

"It's beautiful. Why did you send us away?" Clara asked.

"If we hadn't done that, we would have buried you five a long time ago."

"No, you and the Doctor wouldn't. We would never have let you get stuck here." Weiss said, crossing her arms.

"Nah. Everyone gets stuck somewhere eventually, Ice Queen. Like how Jaune got stuck in the Ever After for decades before we showed up and got him out. Everything ends." I said, letting out a sigh.

"Except the both of you." Yang said, happily. "Jared's immortal. And you're a Time Lord."

"Have none of you been paying attention? I'm an old man now." The Doctor said, looking between Clara and Team RWBY.

"Yang's right, Doctor. You don't die. You change. You pop right back up with a new face." Clara said.

"No, not forever. I can change twelve times. Thirteen versions of me. Thirteen silly Doctors."

"Okay. You're the Eleventh Doctor, so..." Ruby said, frowning.

"Ha. Are we forgetting Captain Grumpy, eh? I didn't call myself the Doctor during the Time War, but it was still a regeneration." The Doctor said.

"Okay, so you're number twelve." Clara said, sadly.

"Well, number ten once regenerated and kept the same face. I had vanity issues at the time. Twelve regenerations, Clara, Team RWBY, and Jared. I can't ever do it again." The Doctor said.

"Plus, this is where we ended up. I'm with that face of the Doctor. That version of the Doctor. He was the first Doctor I ever saw. And Clara, you're the first companion I ever saw. We saw this planet in the future, my Impossible Girl. Don't you remember? All of those graves. Two of them were mine and the Doctor." I said, and the sun is setting.

"Change the future." Clara said.

"We can't." The Doctor said.

"Doctor, you and Jared have got your Tardis back."

"So? You think the Doctor and I are going to fly away and abandon everyone?" I asked, looking at Clara.

"Of course not. But you and the Doctor have been protecting this town for over three hundred years. Do neither of you not think it's anybody else's go yet?" Clara asked, looking between the Doctor and I.

"There is no one else to protect it. My family on Earth needs to protect it. While the Doctor and I protect Christmas."

"It's not going to be you two forever. It'll end the same way, whatever you do." Blake said.

"I know, Blake. But every life we save is a victory. Every single one. Wow. This is what Jaune felt with the Origami Acre." I said, looking back at the view.

"What about your lives? Doctor, you have your life of seeing all of time and space. And Jared, you have your life saving Remnant with Team RWBY. Just for once, after all this time, have both of you not earned the right to think about that? Sorry. Wrong thing to say. We shouldn't be having an argument." Clara said, looking between the Doctor and I.

"Clara, I've been having that argument with Jared for the last three hundred years." The Doctor said.

"But you and Jared didn't have your Tardis."

"So what? It only made it easier to stay, Clara." I said, and there is thunder in the darkening sky.

"Doctor! Jared!" Tasha said, over the speaker.

"Ah. Look who's woken up." The Doctor said.

The holographic face is in the sky.

"The Church of the Silence requests parlay. Your rights and safety are sanctified." Tasha said.

"Don't worry, Tasha. We'll be right up." I said, smirking.

"I'm sending a transporter."

"Nah, don't bother. We've got me motor back." The Doctor said.

"It's dark now." Ruby said, sadly.

"Yeah, well, the sun's gone down." I said, grabbing Ruby's hand.

"Already? How is it already down?" Yang asked.

"Everything ends, Goldilocks. And sooner than you think."

Town...

I spotted a tiny hand behind the Tardis.

"Hey, Barnable. Are you guarding the Doctor's TARDIS?" I asked, looking down at Barnable.

"Are you and the Doctor coming back?" Barnable asked.

"Come on, Barnable. You know me. Team RWBY wore off on me ages ago."

"I'll wait."

Papal Mainframe...

"She hasn't gotten older." Blake said.

"Nope, she's against aging." I said, placing a marshmallow into my mouth.

"Approach." Tasha said.

"Confess." A Silent said.

"What are those things?" Clara asked.

"Confess."

"Confessional priests. Very popular. Genetically engineered so you forget everything you told them." The Doctor said.

"Told who?" Clara asked.

"There you go. Now you know how they work." I said, grabbing Ruby's hand.

Chapel...

The bed has been replaced by a large table. Tasha places a big box in front of the Doctor and another big box in front of me. The Doctor and I looked inside our respective boxes.

"Satisfactory?" Tasha asked.

"Where are the pink ones?" The Doctor asked.

"And where are the cocoa beans?" I asked, looking at Tasha. "I was hoping to make a cup of coffee today."

"E numbers. You two are hyper enough as it is." Tasha said.

"So, this is sweet. Middle of a siege and you three have little chats?" Clara asked.

"She's right. This situation cannot continue."

"It can't end, either." The Doctor said.

(Open POV)

Papal Mainframe...

"Report." A Dalek said.

A Papal Mainframe colonel raises her head. She and her companions have short eye-stalks on their foreheads.

"The Time Lord and the Nexus Being have entered the trap." Meme said.

The rest of the Papal troops and Silents have eyestalks pop out of their heads.

Chapel...

"Why did you and Jared ever come to Trenzalore?" Tasha asked.

"Well, Jared and I did come to Trenzalore, and nothing can change that now. Didn't stop you trying though, did it?" The Doctor asked.

"Not me. The Kovarian Chapter broke away. They travelled back along both of your timelines and tried to prevent the two of you ever reaching Trenzalore."

"So that's who blew up my TARDIS and let Jared's dreams become reality. I thought I'd left the bath running."

"Doctor, they blew up your time capsule, created the very cracks in the universe through which the Time Lords are now calling and it was the very cracks that let the Law of Cycles into the universe."

"It's the destiny trap, Tasha. You can't change history if you're a part of it." Jared said, smiling.

"They engineered a psychopath to kill the both of you." Tasha said, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

"I totally married her. Jared and I would never have made it here alive without River Song. And Jared would never have made it here alive without the help from his family." The Doctor said.

"And a big part of my family is Team RWBY. You honestly believed Salem could stop us." Jared said, scoffing.

"We're going to save Remnant." Ruby said, grabbing Jared's hand.

"I'm not interested in changing history, Doctor, Jared. I want to change the future. The Daleks send for reinforcements daily. They are massing for war. Three days ago, they attacked the Mainframe itself." Tasha said.

"Wait. They attacked here?"

"How did you stop them?" Weiss asked.

"Stop them? It was slaughter." Tasha said, looking at Weiss.

"Why didn't you call us? We could have helped." Jared said, squeezing Ruby's hand.

"I tried, Jared. I died in this room, screaming both of your names. Yours and the Doctor's."

"No." Blake said, sadly.

"Oh. I died. It's funny the things that slip your mind. Ah!" Tasha said, worried.

"No! No, no, no. Tasha, no, please, not Tasha. No. Fight it. Tash, fight it!" The Doctor said, angrily.

A Dalek eyestalk comes out of her forehead, then real Daleks enters.

"Step away from the Dalek unit, Doctor." A Dalek said.

"You shouldn't even know who I am." The Doctor said.

"Information concerning the Doctor and Jared were harvested from the cadaver of Tasha Lem."

"Bet she never told you how to break through the Trenzalore forcefield, though. She'd have died first."

"Several times." Another Dalek said.

"Well, you better kill the Doctor and I. Go on. Do it. But before you do...." Jared said, sonicing the message into the room.

"Doctor who? Doctor who? Doctor who?" A voice asked, over the speakers.

"I'm immortal like Captain Jack Harkness. Who knows when I'll actually die. And the Doctor and I? We're stubborn as hell when it comes to dying. It'll take ages to kill us." Jared said, letting go of Ruby's hand.

"And you gave us way enough time to answer a question. And, oh dear, what happens then, boys?" The Doctor asked, looking at the Daleks.

Tasha grabs Clara's neck from behind, and energy plays over her hands. Four Daleks have their guns pointed at Team RWBY.

"You will die in silence, Doctor, Jared, or your associates will die." A Dalek said.

"Fine, go on, kill them. Kill them! See if we care. But tell me, what you are going to do next?" The Doctor asked.

"See how the Time Lord and a member of the Squad of Nexus Guardians betrays."

"You'll kill us anyway. What difference does it make? We're not afraid. We'll leave that to you." Clara said, frowning.

"You see, Tasha, that's what I'm talking about. That is a woman! I always knew you were a bit spineless, you and your pointless church. Why did I ever rely on you? Never trust a nun to do a Doctor and ally of justice's work." The Doctor said.

Tasha turns on the Doctor, releasing Clara, and slaps him. Then she blasts the Daleks into flames.

"And she's back!" The Doctor said, kissing Tasha and the eyestalk goes back into her forehead leaving a scar. "You never could resist a row."

"Kiss me when I ask." Tasha said.

"Well, you'd better ask nicely."

"In your dreams."

"Tasha, can you get us back to the TARDIS? Can you do that?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, but quickly, the Dalek inside me is waking." Tasha said, looking at Ruby.

"Fight it. I know you can." Jared said, happily.

"I can't." Tasha said, looking away from Ruby and now at Jared.

"Tasha, listen to me. You've been madly in love with the Doctor all your life. Like with Rose Tyler and River Song. Shut up and win. That is an order."

The Doctor, Clara, Team RWBY, and Jared get into the confessional teleport booths.

"The forcefield will hold for a while, but it will decay, and there are breaches already." Tasha said.

"Yup. I know. This isn't a siege anymore. It's a war. Protecting the Papal Mainframe, it's all up to you now." Jared said, grabbing Ruby's hand. "Fight the Daleks inside and out. You can do it, Tasha Lem, I know you can."

"Oh, I see. You and the Doctor have got the Tardis back, haven't you? Time to fly away with Team RWBY and save Remnant."

"Yeah. I'll get back to Remnant in due time. I don't know when. Might do it the long way around. Tasha, please win. Thank you."

"None of this was for you, you fatuous egotists. It was for the peace. Fly away, Doctor, Jared!" Tasha said, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

Tardis...

The Tardis lands. A bell goes ting!

"It's done." Ruby said, happily.

"What is?" Clara asked.

"Your turkey's done cooking. Or it's woken up as a real bird again." Jared said, laughing a lot.

"Do you want some?"

"Yeah. I do."

"Jared. Have you got any plates?"

"Yup. I even got a buttload of Christmas crackers."

"One thing. Give me those big sad eyes, look at me so I know you're not lying, and tell me you will never send me and Team RWBY away ever again." Clara said, looking at Jared.

"Clara, my Impossible Girl. I will never send you and Team RWBY away ever again. I promise." Jared said, while Clara kisses his cheek and goes down to get the turkey.

"Turkey smells good!" Clara said, excitedly.

"Yeah, it smells great." Jared said, looking at young Barnable on the scanner.

"Perfect."

"It really is." Ruby said, sadly.

"That's a good turkey." Blake said.

Jared puts the device into the charger as Clara removes the well done turkey from the vortex cooker.

"I wouldn't mind eating that." Yang said, smiling.

"Same." Weiss said

"Merry Christmas." Clara said, coming back up the stairs with Team RWBY. "Doctor? Jared?"

Block of flats...

Clara goes outside to her block of flats with Team RWBY. Jared slipped out of the TARDIS and he pressed some buttons on his vortex manipulator to teleport away in a flash of blue light. The fanboy meanwhile stopped by Stormcage first to have River Song suppress the last three hundred years of Trenzalore. He knows that his mind and body cannot handle that much memory in his head. So he only wanted to have his memory up to his first day at Trenzalore where he is still aware of what's to come in terms of Time of the Doctor. Jared then temporarily cuts his access to the Dark Dimension and he still looks young before teleporting away from River Song. The Tardis dematerialises behind Clara and Team RWBY.

Town...

"If you're not leaving, why did the two of you bring it back?" Barnable asked, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

"It's a reminder. Besides, I might leave tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the day after that." The Doctor said.

Time passes. Jared lifted his hand up and summoned Mjolnir, ready to fight against the enemies that posed a threat against him and the Doctor. The fanboy knew the magic hammer is the last thing around keeping him young for the next six hundred years. Metal Cybermen beam in and start shooting. The villagers scream and run as the Papal troops and Silents fight back.

"I believe! My blooming courage." Jared said, his iPhone 15 Pro Max near his ear and continuing his call with Hibiki Tachibana to sing with her.

"Shakin' hands." Hibiki said, her voice coming out of the iPhone's speaker.

"I beg to differ on those beliefs."

"Shakin' hands."

"Come..."

"..now..."

"...and to the sky before me. I'll cut through it with an 'Even so!'"

Clara's flat...

It was not a happy meal.

"Merry Christmas, everyone. Merry Christmas, everyone." A toy penguin said.

"Other fish in the sea, that's what I'm saying." Linda said.

"Linda, I don't think Clara wants to talk about it." Clara's dad said.

"I've got a suggestion, that's all. I've got a list of suggestions."

"Linda."

"Why did Jared leave us?" Yang asked.

"He was keeping us safe." Blake said.

"He could have asked for our help." Yang said, letting out a lot of tears.

"What are we supposed to do?" Weiss asked. "Die on that planet?"

"No. I think he really wanted to keep us safe." Ruby said, sadly.

"I know." Clara's grandmother said, looking down at the Christmas crackers.

"They're classy." Linda said.

"They don't have jokes."

"Exactly."

"They've got poems."

"They're more dramatic crackers."

"I like the jokes."

"Tell us a joke, Gran. You know loads of jokes." Clara said, looking at her grandmother.

"I think we're probably talking about my list now." Linda said.

"Probably not."

"Tell us how you met Dad. The thing about the pigeon." Clara's dad said.

"I saw him on a pier on a rainy day." Clara's grandmother said.

"No, no, not that one. The one about the pigeon."

"I'd seen him before, lots of times, but he just looked so beautiful standing there."

"The pigeon in the restaurant. You remember?"

"I wanted everything to stop. I wanted nothing to change ever again." Clara's grandmother said, as her granddaughter and Team RWBY started crying. "If he could just keep standing there, so beautiful. A long time ago." Clara starts hugging her grandmother. "Don't hug me so tight, dear. You'll break something."

"Oh, that's nice. Crying at Christmas." Linda said, scoffing.

"Sorry." Clara said, sadly.

"I hope you and your friends made a wish." Clara's grandmother said, and the sound of a time rotor was heard.

Clara and Team RWBY get up and run out to the kitchen window to see the Tardis appearing.

"Clara? What's wrong, Clara?" Clara's dad asked.

"Everybody just stay put." Clara said, grabbing a cracker from the table and leaving with Team RWBY.

Tardis...

The fanboy meanwhile stopped by Stormcage again to have River Song suppress the last six hundred years of Trenzalore. He knows that his mind and body cannot handle that much memory in his head. So he only wanted to have his memory up to his first day at Trenzalore where he is still aware of what's to come in terms of Time of the Doctor. Jared then permanently cuts his access to the Dark Dimension and teleports away from River Song as that book helped him remain young.

The Doctor and Jared are not inside the console room. A woman is.

"You can fly the Tardis?" Clara asked, looking at Tasha.

"Flying the Tardis was always easy. It was flying the Doctor and Jared I never quite mastered. Only you, Team RWBY, have known how to fly Jared." Tasha said, looking at Team RWBY.

"That is true." Blake said.

"We are his family." Weiss said.

"We don't see the Doctor and Jared here." Yang said, crossing her arms.

"What happened to them?" Ruby asked.

Town...

Everything is in flames as people run to and fro.

"What are we supposed to do?" Clara asked.

"The Doctor shouldn't die alone. And Jared used his vortex manipulator. Clara, he teleported to me and suggested picking you and Team RWBY up. Go to them." Tasha said.

Tower...

The Doctor is working on a wooden dog, "Barnable?"

"Clara. And Team RWBY." Clara said, while a venerable Doctor with thin grey hair drops the toy and looks around in his chair. "Hello, Doctor."

"Were you always so young?" The Doctor asked.

"Nah, that was you." Clara said, sadly.

"Ah." The Doctor said, kissing Clara's hand.

Town...

"Seek the Doctor and Jared." A Dalek said.

Tower...

"Merry Christmas." Clara said.

"Merry Christmas." The Doctor said.

"Merry Christmas Doctor, Clara, and Team RWBY." Jared said, trying to pull the cracker with the Doctor and Clara, but the Time Lord's hand isn't strong enough. "You're fine, Raggedy Man. Everything's going to be okay. There's no need to worry."

Clara and Jared help the Doctor make the cracker go bang.

"Is there a joke in this one?" Yang asked.

Clara reads the slip of paper, "Extract from Thoughts on a Clock by Eric Ritchie junior."

"Yang's right. Is it a knock knock one? Those are the best." The Doctor said.

"I don't think so." Clara said, lying her head down on the Doctor's shoulder.

"Go on, Clara. Read it." Weiss said, frowning.

"'And now it's time for one last bow, like all your other selves. Eleven's hour is over now. The clock is striking twelve's.'" Clara said, reading the slip of paper.

"I don't get it." The Doctor said, sadly.

"Doctor! Jared! The Doctor and Jared will be brought!" A Dalek said, over the speaker.

A huge Dalek Mothership hovers over the village.

"The Daleks demand the Doctor and Jared." The Dalek said, over the speaker.

A young man runs in, "They're here. The Daleks, we can't stop them. They want the both of you."

"Oh, all right, Barnable. Are you Barnable?" The Doctor asked, looking at the young man.

"No, Doctor." The young man said.

"You're Ronald, aren't you? Don't worry. The Doctor and I have got a plan. Off you go to safety or warn the others." Jared said, as the young man leaves to the sounds of explosions outside. "I don't have a plan and neither does the Doctor. But people love it when we say that."

"Doctor, Jared, what are you going to do?" Ruby asked, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

"I don't know. Do what you usually do, Little Red. Talk very fast. Hope something good happens as a result. Take the credit like you usually do with Weiss, Blake, and Yang. That's how it normally goes."

"Jared..." Clara said, looking at Jared.

"Not this time, my Impossible Girl. This is it. The final adventure. Our last hurrah."

"No!" Clara said, worried.

"Yup. We saw the future, Clara. This is how it ends."

"Change it."

"Ha." The Doctor said.

"Like Tasha said, Doctor, change the future with Jared."

"We could have once, when there were Time Lords. Not any more." The Doctor said, letting out a sigh.

Town...

The Daleks are by the Tardis.

"Locate the Doctor and Jared." A Dalek said.

(Jared's POV)

Tower...

"No. Clara, Team RWBY, don't follow us. The five of you are going to stay here. Promise me you will." I said, looking between Clara and Team RWBY.

"Why?" Clara asked.

"The Doctor and I will be keeping you all safe. It's our last victory. Allow us that, okay? Give me that, girls." I said, wiping away Clara's tears. "Thank you all for everything. And goodbye. I will always love you girls."

I dropped the photo of Team RWBY with a caption of 'New Friends' at the top right and tottered off up the stairs with the Doctor.

"The trouble with Daleks is, they take so long to say anything. I will probably die of boredom before they shoot us." The Doctor said, looking at me.

"The Doctor and Jared are required!" A Dalek said, over the speaker.

Clara goes to the crack in the wall, "Listen to me, you lot. Listen! Help them. Help them change the future. Do it. Do something."

"Doctor! Jared!"

"You've been asking a question, and it's time someone told you you've been getting it wrong. That Time Lord. His name, his name is the Doctor. All the name he needs. Everything you need to know about him. And Jared, he's not from this universe. He was thrown right into it and he has been helping us as an ally of justice. He loves us all, and Team RWBY helps keep him grounded. And if you love them, and you should, help them. Help them." Clara said, finally turning away, then the crack snaps shut.

Clara runs outside with Team RWBY to join the villagers and the Daleks, who are looking up at the Doctor and I in the bell chamber.

Bell chamber...

"Sorry I'm a bit slow. And Jared used up all of his magic and his Aura level is low. We may not be at our best right now." The Doctor said, frowning.

"You are dying, Doctor, Jared." The Dalek said, over the speaker.

"Yes, we're dying. Jared prolonged his death for so long by having adventures here with me and trying to save Remnant with Team RWBY. You've been trying to kill us for centuries, and here we are, I'm dying of old age. And Jared is strong enough that he could fight the entire universe on his own. He can't do it forever without me."

"I really can't. On Remnant, I'm basically on a standstill against Salem. Over here, I'm supposed to die in Trenzalore. If you want something done, do it yourself." I said, looking up at the Dalek spaceship.

"The two of you will die, and the Time Lords will never return." The Dalek said, over the speaker.

"You still can't work up the courage to shoot us, can you? You're still worried we've got something up our sleeves. Well, you knock yourselves out, boys. We've got nothing this time." The Doctor said.

Flying Daleks fire at the troops on the ground, making the townsfolk scream. Then the crack opens in the sky and golden regeneration energy enters the Doctor's mouth. His eyes widen in surprise and his hands begin to glow. Another crack opens in the sky by the Law of Cycles and pink feathers are falling down towards the town of Christmas, one landing on my hand. It reveals itself to be a small drill, Simon's drill from Gurren Lagann.

"You will die now, Doctor, Jared. This is the end of the both of you." The Dalek said, and the two cracks disappeared. "The rules of regeneration are known. Doctor, you have expended all your lives."

"Sorry, what did you say? Did you mention the rules? Now, listen. Bit of advice. Tell me the truth if you think you know it. Lay down the law if you're feeling brave. But, Daleks, never, ever tell me the rules!" The Doctor yelled.

"Emergency! Emergency! The Doctor is regenerating! The Storyteller has Gurren Lagann!" The Dalek said, over the speaker.

The Tower clock strikes twelve.

"I'm doing it...for myself. If it helps put smiles on people's faces... Helps them live their lives together. Then that's my role in this world! Jin told me to take care of you in his place, you know. Jin never wanted to die... He just wanted to connect with you! He did it because you showed him a path!" Rex said, hearing his voice in my head.

"And how many people died because of it?! You'd forgive him, just like that?!" Malos exclaimed, his voice in my head.

"Forgiving isn't that easy. But that's just the world we live in! We need to find a way forward, within that world!"

"Shulk, it is time for you to choose. Does this world belong to Zanza? Or does it belong to you?" Alvis asked, his voice in my head.

"That is something I decided long ago!" Shulk said, his voice in my head.

"That symbol!" Zanza said, his voice in my head.

"Today, we use our power to fell a god, and then seize our destiny!"

"Hurry... The time... is nigh..." The Architect said, his voice in my head.

"All that I am is fading. The memory of a god's existence, born from the chaos of creation. It is vanishing." Zanza said, his voice in my head.

The Doctor is feeling more youthful already, although he doesn't look it.

I looked down at the drill that's a part of Gurren Lagann, "Thank you, Madoka Kaname. Also known as the Law of Cycles."

"The Doctor is regenerating! The Storyteller has Gurren Lagann!" The Dalek said, over the speaker.

"Oh, look at this. Regeneration number thirteen. We're breaking some serious science here, boys. I tell you what, it's going to be a whopper!" The Doctor said, excitedly.

"We evolve the person we were a minute before. We advance a little further with each turn. That's how a drill works! You sit off in your closed off universe, exterminating every other life forms that aren't Daleks! We're not like you at all and we won't be like you! Since the Law of Cycles gifted me this as thanks for everything I've done so far." I said, smiling.

"Exterminate! Exterminate the Doctor and Jared." The Dalek said, over the speaker.

"You think you can stop us now, Daleks? If you want my life, ha, ha, come and get it!" The Doctor said, winding up his arm and firing a big stream of energy out from his hand.

"Eat this! Finishing Move! Super Tengen Toppa." I said, using the multitude of my magic that he had gathered up through my 900 year grounding on Trenzalore to summon Gurren Lagann and be inside it and turn the small drill big.

Town...

"Get inside! Come on, quickly. Get inside, quick." Clara said, frowning.

"It's not safe out here." Weiss said.

"So get inside." Yang said, looking at the survivors.

The Doctor fires off more energy from the other hand.

"GIGA DRILL BREAK!" I said, as the giant drill is heading towards the Dalek fleet. "Mark my words. Daleks. This drill will open a hole in the universe. And that hole will become a path for those that follow after us. Whoever comes after me, Team RWBY, Team JNR, Oscar Pine, Winter Schnee, Emerald Sustrai, Neopolitan, Symphogear, the Puella Magi Holy Quintet, Team Mikazuki Villa, the KMR Triangle, and the survivors of Sword Art Online. The dreams of those who have fallen. Like Pyrrha Nikos, Penny Polendina, Amelia Pond, Rory Williams, River Song, Donna Noble, Rose Tyler, Mel Anna, Kanae Yukino, Gin Minowa, Serena Cadenzavna Eve, and Kanade Amou. The hopes of those who will follow. Such as the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Time-Space Administrative Bureau, the Sanshuu Middle School Hero Club, and the Maple Tree Guild. Those two sets of dreams weave together into a double helix, drilling a path towards tomorrow. That's Tengen Toppa. That's Gurren Lagann."

"Hurry. Get inside." Blake said, frowning.

Clara and Team RWBY get the survivors into the Tower.

"We got them all inside. Thank goodness." Ruby said, smiling.

"Simon's drill has been passed down to me to become my drill is the drill that creates the heavens! The heavens that I will help Pit and Lady Palutena defend time and time again from the Underworld Army. I may have ripped off of this speech from Simon. But I still believe. In the me that I believe in. In humanity. In the future. I believe. My drill is my soul!" I said, launching Lagann into the sky to head towards the Dalek fleet. "I'm not the only one fighting. I wanted to use the power of magic to help others, but that was my conceit. I'm not the only one giving it my all. Everyone else is too! Like Team RWBY, Symphogear, the survivors of Sword Art Online, and the Puella Magi Holy Quintet. You can't save someone with just your own power. That's what the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy are for. They save people with just their own power. Star Lord will have a dance off with Ronan the Accuser and trick him to get the Power Stone. Peter Quill will want to overcome Ronan using the power of friendship. That's why, on that day, after the Angels Take Manhattan, Hibiki told me as Kanade told her this. It was not to give up living. I almost forgot about that after the 2009 Dalek Invasion of Earth. Now I finally understand her words! It took me until here and now at Trenzalore to realize that. It's not out of survivor's guilt by the Fall of Beacon and the Year That Never Was that I want to save others. It's because that was Hibiki and Kanade's dream! And ever since then, I've been carrying on in both of their places! Kanade may be gone from this universe and Hibiki is still alive back on Earth. Even so! I'll cut through all of you! The shortest route, as fast as possible! Straight ahead! In a straight line!"

I used my mana to launch illusions of the fists of Gungnir for the burning remains of flying Daleks to tumble to the ground.

Bell chamber...

"Love from Gallifrey and the Law of Cycles, boys!" The Doctor said, launching a final blast from his head up to the Dalek Mothership.

Mega KaBOOM! and the shockwave rips open the remaining Daleks on the ground. It even rocks the Tardis as it travels out of the town and through the countryside. Then silence falls.

Tardis / City street...

"Hello? Hello?" Future Clara asked, over the TARDIS phone's speaker.

"It's us." I said, sitting down next to the Doctor.

"Yes, it's you. I know it's you, Jared. But what do you mean by us?"

"It's me, Clara. The Doctor. I'm here with Jared." The Doctor said, grabbing my hand.

"What do you mean, the Doctor?" Clara asked.

"Clara, we're phoning you from Trenzalore." I said, letting out a sigh.

"I don't..."

"From before I changed. I mean it's all still to happen for me. It's coming. Oh, it's a-coming." The Doctor said, as he squeezed my hand.

I know Clara is going to replace the Tardis police phone back on its hook with Team RWBY behind her.

"Not long now. I can feel it." The Doctor said.

"Why? Why would both of you do this?" Future Clara asked.

"Because I think it's going to be a whopper, Jared knows it's going to be a whopper, and I think you might be scared. And however scared you are, Clara, the man you and Jared are with right now, the man we hope you are with, believe me, he is more scared than anything you can imagine right now and he, he needs you."

"He does need you, Clara. He seriously needs you. I have gone through the missing of my Raggedy Man ages ago." I said, happily.

"So who is it?" The 12th Doctor asked.

"Who are you talking to?" Future me asked.

"Is that the Doctor and Jared?" The Doctor asked.

"Is that the Doctor and Jared?" The 12th Doctor asked.

"Yes." Future Clara said, sadly.

"He sounds old. My future self sounds old. Please tell me I didn't get old. Anything but old. I was young. Oh, is he grey?" The Doctor asked.

"Yes."

"Clara, please, hey, for me, help him. Like I know Jared will help him." The Doctor said.

"I know I will help him. He's still you, Raggedy Man. It took me time to accept that you years ago. It took me a bit longer this time around due to actually experiencing it in person." I said, happily.

"I know, Jared. You are a sentimental idiot over us. Go on. Clara. And don't be afraid. Goodbye, Clara. Miss ya." The Doctor said, looking at me.

(Open POV)

Town...

"Where'd they go?" Ruby asked.

"I don't know." Weiss said, her hand on her hip.

Later, Clara and Team RWBY lead the people out to survey the wreckage.

"They could be anywhere." Blake said.

"Yeah." Yang said, scoffing.

"Doctor? Jared?" Clara asked, seeing the Tardis' external emergency telephone hanging off its hook and replacing it, then goes inside with Team RWBY.

Tardis...

The Doctor's village clothes are scattered on the floor, and a nearly empty bowl of fish fingers and custard is on the console. There are footsteps on the stairs. Her bow-tied young Doctor and her fanboy smiles at her.

"Doctor! Jared!" Clara said, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

"Hello." The Doctor said, sadly.

"Doctor, you're young again. You and Jared are okay. You didn't even change your face."

"Ha! It's started. I can't stop it now. This is just the reset. A whole new regeneration cycle. Ooo." The Doctor said, finishing his custard. "Taking a bit longer. Just breaking it in. Oh. Oh. Gah."

"Don't worry, Raggedy Man. I got it." Jared said, starting the TARDIS' engines.

"It all just disappears, doesn't it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. Any moment now, he's a-coming." The Doctor said.

"Who's coming?" Clara asked.

"The Doctor."

"But you, you are the Doctor."

"Yep, and I always will be." The Doctor said, as his hands were glowing. "But times change, and so must I."

"What's going on?" Ruby asked.

"The Doctor is acting crazy." Weiss said, looking at the Doctor.

The Doctor sees a young Amy Pond run up the stairs, laughing, "Amelia?"

"Who's Amelia?" Clara asked.

"The first face this face saw. And Jared was the second face this face saw." The Doctor said.

"Amelia was one of my best friends. God, I miss her." Jared said, letting out a sigh.

"I know you do, Jared." Blake said.

"We will always remember Amy in our hearts." Yang said.

"We all change, when you think about it. We're all different people all through our lives. And that's okay, that's good, you've got to keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me." The Doctor said, seeing a vision of a red-haired woman with black painted fingernails walk down the stairs to him.

"Raggedy Man. Good night." Amy said, as she and the Doctor touched each other's cheeks, and she disappeared.

The Doctor removes his bow tie and drops it on the floor. His face is in pain.

"No, no." Clara said, sadly.

"Hey..." The Doctor said, looking at Clara.

"Please don't change."

The Doctor jerks backwards as Matt Smith and then forwards as Peter Capaldi. Tall, grey haired, piercing blue eyes and a Scottish burr. The new Doctor, Clara, Team RWBY and Jared stare into each other's eyes, then the Time Lord jerks back and forward again.

"Kidneys! I've got new kidneys. I don't like the colour." The Doctor said, annoyed.

"You don't like the color of your kidneys?" Weiss asked.

The Tardis starts lurching from side to side.

"What's happening?" Ruby asked.

"We're probably crashing. Oh!" The Doctor said.

"Not probably! We are crashing!" Jared said, angrily.

"Into what?" Clara asked.

"Stay calm." The Doctor said, pressing buttons on the TARDIS console before looking at Clara, Team RWBY, and Jared. "Just one question. Do any of you happen to know how to fly this thing?"
