Jessica's Day

Alex just smiled faintly at Jessica who was writhing on her bed. The girl was sleeping so soundly that Alex couldn't bear to wake her up even though the sun was directly above their heads.

 How broken Alex's heart is seeing Jessica's condition is so weak.

 Alex was silent for a thousand languages, when Jessica started to open her eyes. The man just continued to watch Jessica from the chair where she was sitting.

 "Al, have you been here long?" asked Jessica as soon as she opened her eyes.

 "It's been quite a while, I was waiting for you, wondering, are you sleeping or fainted?!"

 "After all, it was really nice to be able to sleep in my own room, before I couldn't sleep well in other places."

 Alex just smiled faintly then nodded slowly and approached Jessica who was now sitting on her bed.

 "Now you don't have to be afraid anymore, you can sleep well, you can eat in peace, you don't have to be afraid anymore, Jess," said Alex softly.
