"Don't be stubborn just listen to my explanation first!"

Vera pursed her lips in annoyance until the waitress came and placed their orders on the table.

Vera casually picked up the macaroon on the tray and gave William a death glare.

"Didn't you say you didn't want to eat?" quipped William.

"You can't skimp on food, it's a sin! What are you going to say? I am full and sleepy!"

William took a deep breath, then smiled and looked deeply into Vera's eyes.

Luckily the cafe was quiet, and the distance from one table to another was quite far, so even if they were arguing, it wouldn't bother other diners.

"Do you still remember about the ex who is still close to me, now that's Tiara! Tiara is really mad at me! So, when I told her that I was close to you, and was serious with you, Tiara got angry!"

Vera just glared at the man in front of her.

"Well then, I've been talking slowly to her that I already love you!"
