Alex's hug

"Where's Jessica?" Rey asked quietly.

Sean just stared blankly at Rey without answering the man's question.

"Sean?" Rey insisted.

"On the second floor, the farthest room on the left." replied Sean slowly.

Rey rushed in and looked for the stairs.

"He's on the second floor!" Rey shouted when he saw Alex and William who were still looking on the first floor.

Alex and William immediately followed Rey up the stairs.

Rey ran towards the room that Sean told him. And, once he went inside, he could only stare at the doorway seeing how bad Jessica was.

The girl's frail body, pale face, and the IV tube attached to her wrist.

Jessica who noticed Rey's presence, turned to stare sadly at the man, tears just flowing from her sad eyes.

Jessica tried to move her weak body to get out of bed. He walked over to Rey to ask the man for help, but his body was too weak so he fell on the floor along with the IV pole he used as a handle.
