"What video?" Rey shouted in disbelief.
For now, he could only hope what his ears heard was wrong. Lusi might have said something else, but because he was thinking about Jessica recently, he heard the girl's name come out of Lusi's mouth.
"Why are you so surprised, Rey?" Lusi looked at Rey confused.
"It's not that I'm surprised, I wasn't paying attention earlier, so I don't understand what you're talking about."
Lusi took a deep breath, even though he looked strange, she didn't want to think badly of Rey.
"To prove to Vera that Alex is straight, Jessica agreed to give a video when they were kissing," Lusi spoke again.
"So?"
"Then, Jessica give us the evidence."
"Are you sure the video is genuine? Now that the era is sophisticated, it can be engineered."
Lusi shook her head quickly.
"From what I've seen it feels so real! Hot and soulful."
Rey smiled sarcastically. For him, Jessica couldn't want to be touched by another man, let alone someone she had not known for a long time like Alex.
"How come you don't seem to believe it that much? Alex is her boyfriend, so isn't it natural for them to kiss?"
"It's not an unnatural problem, the problem is Jessica! I've known Jessica for a long time, I don't think she's the type of woman a man wants to touch."
"Love! When you're in love, even rigid people can change! Besides, you two aren't as close as they used to be, so who knows what Jessica is like now!"
Lusi's words seemed to slap Rey so hard. The fact that he and Jessica are no longer close, makes his feelings chaotic.
"That's fine, Rey! Why do you have to worry about something like that?! It's better, let's talk about something else, about us. When are you going to introduce me to your family?"
Rey looked gently into Lusi's eyes. He doesn't know what reason he should give the girl to stop discussing the problem of meeting with the family.
"That family meeting doesn't mean how long our relationship is, but how serious our relationship is!" Lusi whispered.
"We'll find the right time, okay. For now, be patient."

Jessica was busy washing vegetables when Rey entered the kitchen. The man walked slowly to the refrigerator and took a can of drink from there.
"Wake up, drink water first, don't drink soda right away," said Jessica slowly.
The girl looked away from Rey, and returned to the vegetables she was washing.
"What do you want to cook?" Rey asked casually.
"Chicken soup, fried bakwan, as well as making soy sauce."
Rey approached Jessica, then sat not far from the girl.
"Last night Lusi told me something about the video!" Rey started.
Jessica just smiled cynically at Rey's words.
"I didn't know you had changed."
Jessica stopped her activities and turned her body to look Rey's eyes straight.
"I changed?" Jessica asked.
"I thought you were an innocent girl who wouldn't let anyone touch you before the wedding, but I was wrong!"
Jessica was silent, she held back all the curses that tried to break the walls of her politeness.
"Yeah, you're wrong! I didn't know that all this time you had thought like that of me! Well, I'm not as pure and innocent as that Rey! All this time, it was you who never wanted to, touch me! But it's okay, I understand. Well, something like that wouldn't work without love, would it?!" snapped Jessica.
"Do you love Alex?"
"Yeah!"
The two of them looked at each other with meaningful gazes, but the atmosphere immediately turned awkward when someone entered the kitchen.
"Ops, seriously, what are you talking about?" William leaned against the wall next to the refrigerator, then looked at Jessica and Rey with inquiring eyes.
"What the hell!" Rey snapped, then left the kitchen.
"What I wrong with him? Angry early in the morning!" William grumbled while taking a can of soda from the refrigerator.
"Wake up drinking water first, don't just soda!"
William showed a wide grin, then took a sip of the soda in his hand.
"White water is tasteless! No taste!" said William.
"What has tasted is unhealthy!"
"I'm fine!"
"Yes, healthy now, just try it like that, in the future, you will boast that you are healthy, or not!" said Jessica without turning to William. Her hands were still busy washing the vegetables in front of her.
"You're reminding me, are you praying that I'm not well? I'm confused!" said William annoyed.
Jessica glanced briefly at William then chuckled softly.
"Just help me to cook!"
"That's a woman's job!"
"Vera is sick, she'll get better soon if you cook. Besides, let's finish the cooking quickly." seduced Jessica.
"What hurts? Come on, I'm here to help! But don't ask me to season it, this poisonous car will go bad!"
"No, you just need to help cut the vegetables and make the soy sauce. Later, I'll leave the rest."
William nodded slowly. He then washed his hands, sat down at the table with a cutting board and knife in front of him.
"You cut this all, keep putting it here!"
Jessica showed what William had to do, after which he was immediately busy washing the chicken and cutting it.
"Jess," called William in a low voice.
"Yeah?" said the girl without looking up.
"I accidentally overheard your conversation with Rey earlier! Instead of me being confused and trying to find out what happened, it's better if you tell me directly!"
Jessica immediately froze hearing the words William said. Her fault for carelessly talking. She should have remembered that they were not alone in this place.
"What's your relationship with Rey?!" demanded William.
Jessica was silent for a long time. William did not try to keep pushing Jessica. He was sure that Jessica would tell him what happened. Maybe she was so shocked that she didn't know what to say to him.
"If you're not ready to talk, that's fine. I won't force you! Only, you know it's like family here, right? I don't want your relationship with Lusi, Vera, or the others to be affected."
William said it still while cutting carrots on the cutting board.
With a trembling body, Jessica turned and looked at William.
"William..." called Jessica quietly.
"What?" William stopped his activities then turned to Jessica.
He is ready to know and accept whatever their relationship is. After all, it is their business. In his eyes, both Rey and Jessica are his best friends.
"William," called Jessica again.
"What?" said William again.
"You cut the carrots wrong. You should just cut them into rounds or cut them into cubes. Why did you cut them into rectangles?"
"Damn it! Jessica! I thought you wanted to tell me! I was mentally prepared though! Gosh, what did your mother crave for? It's so annoying! I'm going to give it up, I want to cut it into cubes."
