Olympian

"Surprise… don't think I've forgotten. We need to talk, but first you guys need to go back to Olympus." He replied.

Hera was shocked into silence, around her the other Olympians warily held their weapons and looked at Blake.

The young man glanced at the surrounding gods and goddesses unconcerned. He flicked the blood off of his sword before it disappeared in a flash of light. The body of Typhon was slowly being absorbed into Blake.

"Interesting, I've somehow managed to absorb a bit of Typhon's power, is that normal?" Blake asked.

Hera continued to blink owlishly at the man. Poseidon approached Blake, Hestia appeared in a pillar of fire.

"Our champion…" Hestia said softly.

"Umm, Hi?"

"There's no time, we must aid my son and the other demigods." Poseidon said.

"If they're the ones fighting back in New York then they're getting pushed back towards the Empire State Building." Blake responded.

Poseidon frowned, "Then let us hope that it is not too late and they've held our father off long enough."

Blake shrugged before disappearing in a flash of light. The other gods seemed shocked that the apparent mortal could travel like a god.

"Hera you have some explaining to do." Athena said as she stood next to her stepmother.

Hera sighed, "I have a lot of that to do it seems."

[Scene Break] (POV Restored)

I teleported away before my annoyance got the better of me. I had kept my calm as I spoke to the Olympians but just seeing them had for some reason made me want to go nuclear. They didn't seem that hard pressed to go save their kids, many were just standing around. I had chosen to go after Typhon first as he was the biggest factor in keeping the Olympians from stepping in to defend their home and protect their children. Once he had been dealt with I had thought that they would all immediately show some concern about the other battle. I was wrong, I was beginning to think that I may have to forcibly reform the old deities. They had seemed more concerned with anything but helping their offspring. Only Poseidon had said anything about helping his kids. Then again he only had one, and that kid was the one leading the other children in the defense of their castle so to speak.

I reappeared in the middle of a street strewn with the bodies of dead demigods and piles of gold dust. My anger spiked at the sight of children laying in pools of their own blood. They shouldn't have been fighting in the first place. I looked up at the Empire State Building, lighting and strong winds buffeted the skyscraper illuminating its shape. I could feel power coming from the sky above. I walked into the silent building a looked around. In the lobby more dead bodies and piles of dust. I wanted to kill something, my temper flared when I spotted a young girl no older than thirteen laying in a mangled mess of blood and gore. She was breathing hard fighting to stay alive despite her many wounds. I stepped over to the injured girl and took a knee next to her. Her wide panicked eyes met mine. I made my choice then and there, she wouldn't be dying. Not today, there would be no more death.

"I can save you, would you like that?" I asked her.

She gasped in air, her head nodding as best she could with how badly hurt she was. I reached down and gently lifted her arm. Closing my eyes I focused on my skill and reversed the damage to her body. The young girl winced in pain as her body rebuilt itself. A moment later she was whole once more and I helped her to her feet. She reached for her sword but I stopped her.

"You can go rest now, you don't need to fight anymore. I'll take it from here."

"B-but, my friends. They need me."

"I'll help them all, look away for a moment. I'll need to take my true form to help everyone else."

Her eyes widened, "My lor-"

"Please none of that, just to get some rest."

She nodded frantically and ran off outside. I straightened up and took a deep breath. Something I had learned about my true form was that in my true form I had near limitless MP. Technically my pool didn't change, only the recovery rate increased to an outrageous number. I could refill my entire pool, which was already massive, in seconds. The down side was that I couldn't physically attack in my true form and had to rely on my 'magic'. But that wasn't important at the moment. There was nothing physical in what I was about to do. I shifted out of my 'mortal' form and burst into pure energy. The building groaned around me as my power filled every corner. The bursts of power in the sky stopped as my energy reached beyond the building. I could sense everybody in the streets around me. Every demigod, both who fought for and against the Olympians. I focused on the skill I said I wasn't going to use and sighed. Exhaling I let the skill do its work as I burst from my core and washed over the city. My MP drained and replenished dozens of times but I knew it had worked. Around me revived demigods gasped as life returned to their bodies. I could hear the notification sounds as the Skill leveled up multiple times.

I released the skill when I didn't feel anymore bodies. Letting out another deep breath I retook my human form and looked around at the dazed demigods looking at each other before their eyes went over to me. There were mutterings of confusion before the girl I had saved earlier ran up to who looked like an older version of her and jumped into her arms. The girl was bawling her eyes out and I internally grinned at the reunion she had with who I assumed was a relative of some sort.

Before anyone could come up to me and start asking questions I teleported to where I felt the surges of power. I arrived just in time to see a dark haired boy block a strike from an older blond with a scar going down his cheek. A quick Observe told me that these two were Percy Jackson and Luke Castellan. I remembered reading about a prophecy in the book I had skimmed through.

'Fuck that, I'm taking the wheel here. No one else is dying except maybe Kronos.'

I quickly drew Dark Sister and jumped into action. Percy was sent flying back as Luke kicked him in the chest. I caught the kid and lowered him gently to the ground.

"Relax kid, I'll take it from here."

"Wha- but… Who are you?"

"Trying to figure that out myself, James Blake though."

"Annabeth… she's injured."

I could tell this Annabeth meant something to him, I looked over to where a girl was laying off to the side clutching a bleeding wound. Around her were different demigods and other strange looking creatures that looked like half goats and walking trees.

"Go take care of her then, I'll deal with Kronos."

Percy looked conflicted, he looked over to Luke then back to me. I grinned and set my sword on fire. Percy gaped at the black flames dancing on the pattern forged steel.

"You dare interfere with- URK"

Kronos was cut off when I flashed in front of him and delivered a crushing blow to his family jewels. I winced at the whine that escaped his mouth as the Titan lord doubled over and puked.

"Bu- but he's invulnerable. He has the curse of Achilles."

I turned to look at who had spoken, "Impenetrable skin or not, you're still going to feel it when thousands of pounds crash into you."

The Satyr gulped before returning to tend to Percy and Annabeth. I looked back to Kronos who was still gasping for air. I cast a more through Observe on the Titan and frowned.

Luke Castellan lvl. 467

HP: 9,527,865/10,000,000

MP: 5,000,000/5,000,000

Status: Possessed by Kronos

Allegiance: Titans

Bio: Luke was the demigod son of Hermes. Disillusioned by the negligence of the gods he turned his back on Olympus and swore to make them pay for the suffering his fellow demigods underwent. He holds a grudge against his father for the current state of his mother. Kronos has groomed Luke to be his vessel after failing to secure the son of Poseidon.

This wasn't the first time I had seen someone possessed. There was Marton back in the previous world. The same distinct yellowish gold eyes glared at me hatefully and I grinned.

"I finally found you, you dumb fuck."

Confusion crossed the possessed teens face.

"I don't know you mortal."

"Pull the other one you prick. I'll make you remember me."

With that I thrust out my hand and launched a ball of flames at the Titan. Kronos dodged the flame and started swinging his sword wildly trying to land a hit. My grin grew wider when I realized that I was significantly stronger than Kronos. Parrying a diagonal slash I used my powers to blast Kronos backwards. Finding my water control skill I cast it on the Titan lord and watched as the Titan of Time fell to his knees. The gods all flashed in just as I began to pull my power into myself.

The Olympians had various looks of shock on their faces when I began to walk forward to the restrained Titan. I reached out with my senses and found a loose bit of the Titan. With a pull I began to rip the Titan away from Luke who screamed in pain as I forcibly tore Kronos away from his body. Hermes ran forward but was stopped by Hera. A glowing ball of golden light solidified in my hand.

"What is this?! What have you done to me!" The ball screamed.

I answered honestly, "not really sure, what I do know is that you won't be manipulating or possessing anyone ever again."

With that I tossed the golden ball into my mouth and began to chew. Kronos screamed as I chewed his soul and absorbed his energy.

"Hmm, tastes like lemon."

Behind me the gods and goddess gaped as I devoured the Titan Lord. There was a ping and a brief flash of light which I ignored in favor of turning around to face the gods.

The remaining Olympians looked at me as if I had grown a second head.

"What?"

"What have you done to Kronos?" Hera asked.

"I think I ate him… poetic don't you think?"

"You ate… the King of the Titans?" Asked a young woman with a little too much makeup on.

I nodded, "Is that going to be a problem?"

There was another flash of light as three old women appeared in the room. They smirked at me, or at least I think they did, kind of hard to tell when all three began to speak at once in a voice that echoed through the room.

"Hail Lord Corvinus, King of Olympus. God of Time, Sky and Thunder, Wielder of the Void Flame, Lord of Dragons and Wolves."

"What the fuck."

The Three Fates disappeared in a flash of light before I could lash out at them. The remaining Olympians gaped at me in shock and confusion. I couldn't help but to share their thoughts as I felt the rush of power that was my absorption of several domains. The throne that used to belong to Zeus in the center of the throne room of Olympus shattered and a new throne emerged from the ground. The new seat was blackened marble, two hourglasses made up the armrests while the back rest was a mural of a large dragon which looked suspiciously like Tiamat. At the base of the throne more carvings appeared depicting my many feats which included the time I razed the vampire Coven and my many battles.

"Hera… we need to have a serious discussion."
