Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. Life in Summerhall III

(Rhaegon's POV)

"And how do you expect to test these out?" I said as I wrapped my arms around Tyene, "Hm?"

"Hehe." She said as she was placing a strange liquid in a vial, "Don't worry."

We were in her quarters, where she typically brews her poison. All this time, she's respected my rules of not poisoning anything or anyone within the walls and within my land. And for that, I've rewarded her quite well.

I leaned in and kissed her on the cheek, "Do not be reckless." I said, "I don't want you going overboard on this entire game, alright?"

"What?" She said with a frown, "I'm going to win."

"Hm." I said as I stroked her hair, "If you say so."

"Are you happy?" Tyene asked me

"Happy?" I raised an eyebrow

"Yes." She said as she gave me a smile, "I am."

"I'm glad." I said as I ran my finger across her cheek

"I know it has been hard to deal with us three before you married..." She said as she closed the vial, "And now that you are married, it might get even more difficult. But I ask you, are you happy?"

I sighed, "I am as happy as I could be." I said, "I should be. I have a new brother, whom I have not visited much....I found out that I have a sister whom is near me at all times. I am married now and my wife is currently the happiest woman in the world, her joyous smile warms my smile. And I have you three, such beautiful and strong women. I should be happy...."

"But....?" She asked

"You already know." I said as I pulled away

She turned around, "I do." She said, "And we'll get past this."

"There is a fight coming. The reason why we're standing here right now is because I need to fight for your people." I said as I placed my hands on her hips, gently rubbing it, "All of my attention is on that, Tyene."

She smiled, "Focus on this. Did you not tell the Princess that?" She asked, "You will focus on her, on us."

I nodded, "Yea. But I just want to make her feel at ease." I told her, "Sometimes, I don't know how it came to be like this....to be put such a heavy burden. But I suppose it comes with being a dragonrider and being of Targaryen blood."

I felt some arms around my waist, "Heh." I heard Obara's voice, "Our Father once told us a saying; when a Targaryen is born, the gods flip a coin and the whole world holds their breath to see where it lands. He said it has to do with both Madness and Greatness...both sides of the same coin. Maybe it landed on Greatness when you were born."

"Me?" I said as I looked back at her

"Indeed." She said as she looked up at me, "You are Rhaegon Baratheon, the Rider of Morghul. Currently, who is as Great as you? Nobody."

"It's almost like you're the Aerion of this time." Tyene joked

"No." I said as I looked down, "That man was one of a kind. There was never another one like him. The Dragonknight and The King Who Bore The Sword were different, they tried to be like him, but they ended up becoming their own versions."

"Finally come to understand?" Obara asked, "You finally read some books about the Mighty?"

"When you learn the truth, your eyes will open." I said, "He was something else. He was not human. Anyways, what are you doing here, Obara?"

"I would ask you the same thing, lover." She chuckled

I rolled my eyes, "Would you like to join?"

"Of course." She said

**************

I walked outside as I saw the wings of my Uncle's dragon, Moonfyre, hearing the loud roar as it swooped down.

"Hm....." I said as Moonfyre landed right in front of me

"Nephew!" Viserys said as Moonfyre shook her neck

"Uncle." I said as I stood there

I watched as Viserys dismounted Moonfyre and landed on the ground, making his way towards me with an unusual smile on his face.

"Ah...Look at him..." He said as he reached me and patted my shoulder, "How have you been?"

"Good." I said

"Where is my niece? Where is Myrcella?" He asked as he looked past me

"With the others." I said as I tilted my head, "What brings you here?"

"Ah, just wanted to check in." He said, "You don't mind giving my dragon a bit of feed?"

"Not at all." I said, "Go right ahead."

"Thank you." He said as he wrapped his arms around my neck, "Walk with me."

As he pulled me to the side and we began to walk together, I heard Moonfyre's call as Morghul returned it from the distance.

"What's the matter?" I asked, "Did something happen?"

"No, not at all." He said, "Well...."

"What?" I looked at him

"I heard of what is going on in the Stepstones." He said, "There is some fighting at Bloodstone."

I stopped, "Is that so?"

He looked at me, "Rhaegon." he said as he placed his hand on the handle of his sword, "After several long conversations with both my Brother and your Mother....I have come to understand one thing; You are burdened with something big."

I looked at him, "Is that so?"

"I understand that your arrangement with Dorne, with Oberyn's daughters, is specifically so they can use you as a deterrent for a potential threat." He continued, "And I also understand that there had been rumors about my death. I have looked into it, you might have heard."

"I have." I said, "Lots of heads rolled."

"Indeed." Viserys said, "Which led to Tywin, that cunt, to attempt to push Myrcella for Heir. An internal conflict is the last thing that our Family needs. With the threat in the East, a House divided is not ideal."

I raised an eyebrow, "What are you saying?"

His face hardened, "I love my Niece." He said, "And I am Heir to the Throne. Whether Tywin likes it or not. If he thinks that pushing her to be heir, in turn, putting you ahead of me, would drive me against her, he's wrong. I love her. With everything in my heart."

I nodded, "I'm glad."

"You might be needed at Dorne soon." Viserys told me, "If it comes to that. That said, I do not like how you were insulted by Stannis, your home was attacked and many died here. Because of that, I have come here to offer you my help. Should you go to War, I will make sure Summerhall is protected. No fools should attack the Place of Rebirth when a dragon is present."

I looked at him with surprise, "V-Viserys..." I said, "You don't need to-"

He raised his hand, "You are my nephew, Rhaegon." He said, "Sure, the two of us butt heads almost always but when it comes to it, you are my blood. You are my Sister's son. Your sister, your brother, I love them all. And I have love for you, Nephew. Sure, you piss me off a lot, but I do care for you and your future. Especially when that future is being shared by my beloved Niece."

"I see..." I said

"We are the Blood of The Dragon." Viserys said, "And as much as I dislike even mentioning it, we are kin to the Martells. We descend from Maekar, whose mother was a Martell. And of course, our blood traces back to him. Our Forefather has a history with Dorne as well. Let's rewrite it to a friendly one, don't you think?"

I nodded, "This is quite uncharacteristically of you, Uncle."

"Shut up." He spat, "You always paint me as a villain, Rhaegon."

"I don't." I said with a chuckle, "I always paint you as an obnoxious asshole, though. And I am glad you are no longer insulting my Paramours like you were."

He shrugged, "I suppose so." He said as he extended his arm towards me, "What do you say, Rhaegon? Let's not be divided."

I took his hand and shook it, "Of course." I said with a smile, "Together...."

"We'll be unstoppable."
