(Rhaegon's POV)
"Rhaegon." I heard a voice call out for me
I opened my eyes to see Nymeria staring down at me.
"Hm?" I said as I rubbed my eyes, "What's wrong?"
I looked to my side, finding that Myrcella was not in bed with me.
"The Princess is reading under your tree." Nymeria said as she crawled beside me, "My sisters are with her. Just you and me here."
I blinked as she touched my chest, "Oh." I said as I looked up at her, "What do you want to do?"
She patted my cheek, "I think you know."
I smiled, "You're beginning to be overzealous." I said as I held her by her waist, "Do not be jealous."
"I'm not." She said as she leaned in closer
"Here I thought you'd be different than most women." I said softly as she kissed me on the nose
"How so? Because I'm a fighter?" She asked softly, "I'm still a woman. My heart aches for you, still. I want you."
"You have me." I said softly, "But what you want, I cannot give it to you. Not now, at least."
"I know." She said, "But I still want you."
I ran my hand up her back, gently rubbing it as she pressed herself against me.
"I'm doing a decent job in keeping my women happy." I said with a smile, "I'm not neglecting any of you. And you know my wife is my priority, right?"
"Am I not your favorite?" She whispered
I kissed her on the cheek, "Hm..." I said, "Maybe."
"You told me I was." She said with a smile
"Well, don't ask me that, then." I said, "But you know what the deal was. Don't think I've forgotten about you, okay?"
She laid her head against my chest, "My Father has written to me." She said as she nuzzled up, "Tensions are high in the Stepstones. There could be a battle breaking out."
"Is that so?" I asked, "Why haven't I been told about this?"
"I'm telling you now." She told me
"Well...." I said, "Yeah, I suppose so."
"What will our future entail, Rhaegon?" she asked me, "I understand that we got ourselves into this. But how will this play out?"
"I don't know, Nymeria." I said, "I'm just going along with the waves caused. We need to overcome this conflict. It's going to happen, you know that. I....I need to be ready."
"Have you had those dreams again?" She asked
I nodded, "I have." I said, "But I had this more significant one. It was strange."
"How so?" She asked softly
"I..." I started, "I saw him."
"Him? The Three-Eyed Raven?" She said
"No. Zaldrizes Jaes." I said, "The Dragon God."
She pulled up and looked at me, "What?" She said, "The thing that Three-Eyed Raven said? The one in the East?"
I nodded, "Yea." I said, "I saw him in my dream. He spoke to me. It felt real. It's like he managed a connection with me, it was stronger than what Bloodraven did. It was like I was in his grasp, in his dominion."
"I see...." She said, "What is he like?"
"He was imposing.....he had a single green dragon eye....his cloak emitted what looked like a black mist." I said as I thought back on the dream, "And he felt....he gave off an incredibly dangerous feeling, a powerful aura."
"Do you think he'll arrive?" she asked me, "Are you afraid?"
"Afraid?" I asked, "I don't even know what he is, why should I be afraid? No. I am not afraid.....not of him."
"Perhaps you are a fool." She chuckled, "Only fools lack fear. You should be, if everything has been orchestrated to be put on your shoulders, for you to deal with the matter. Why else would this Bloodraven do everything for you to face this threat?"
"Because he was afraid." I said,
"Not me."
***************
"Rhaegon!" Myrcella said as I walked up to her under the tree, "You just woke up?"
Nymeria was walking behind me, "Yes, let's say that." She said with a chuckle
It was about an hour or so after Nymeria and I shared an intimate moment.
Obara frowned, "You...." She said, "You waited until the Princess left his bed? How rude of you, Sister."
"Smart of me." Nymeria chuckled
"You little shit..." Tyene said
I sighed, "Don't start with the fighting." I said as I stood in front of Myrcella, who sat, "Come."
I offered her my hand.
She looked at me, she was holding a book in her lap. Her hair was flowing in the wind, some of it getting on her beautiful face. Every since moving in here, Myrcella's face has been filled with nothing but joy, displaying nothing but a sweet and genuine smile.
"What is it?" She said as she moved the hair out of her face, "Did I do something?"
I chuckled, "No." I said, "Come."
She set the book aside, which Obara grabbed and gave her a smile.
"Go on, Princess." Obara said, "We already had our time with him. You deserve more of him at this time."
Myrcella took my hand I gently pulled her up, "Okay...." She said
I patted her cheek and gently tucked her hair behind her ear, "Are you comfortable here?" I asked softly
She nodded, "Yes..." She said with a smile
"Good." I said as placed my hand on her chin, "That's what I want. Right here, all of us. Let's make a promise."
Nymeria looked at me, "A promise?"
Tyene stood up and patted her pants, "What kind of promise?"
"Myrcella is my wife." I said, "To prevent insult to her and her Family.....she will bear my child first. After all this is over, I promise that if any of you want the same, it is up to her when."
Myrcella blinked, "Eh?"
"You're my Wife." I told her, "I'll not only do my duty to this realm, but my duty to you. As your husband. So tell me, when will it be acceptable?"
"Acceptable..." She said softly, "W-Well...Rhaegon, I don't want to intrude."
"Intrude?" Tyene said, "You're the Princess and his wife, we're intruding. You are certainly lucky, Princess, to be given this much consideration from him."
"I...." Myrcella said softly, "W-Well...I....I suppose that it's okay after I have my child....it does not matter much to me."
"So it's settled." Nymeria looked at me, "I'm next."
"Whoa!" Tyene said, "Says who?!"
"Take it easy." I told her
Obara scowled, "No, she's right. Says who?" She said, "You don't get to decide that, Nymeria."
"The Princess decides." Nymeria said, "And she likes me more."
"You little-" Tyene started
"Don't fight, please." Myrcella said
I rolled my eyes, "They're always like this." I said, "They'll deal with it with their games."
"Yea." Obara said, "We'll decide it like this; whoever kills the most bandits by the end of this month wins."
"K-Killing?" Myrcella looked at me
I sighed, "Don't protest." I said as I pulled her away, "They won't listen. They're going to go around looking for bandits now."
As the Sand Snakes began arguing amongst themselves, I placed my hand on Myrcella's waist as we faced Summerhall.
"I guess this is it..." She said with a smile, "Our Future...."
I nodded, "Yea..."
"Thank you." She said softly, "For this."
"No, Thank you." I said, "And I'm sorry, in advance. For dealing with any inconveniences. But I suppose there's no use in worrying about things now."
"I'll just enjoy my time with you, okay?"
