Jenna Brooks's POV

"The first step in becoming a queen is acting like a queen!" Jeanette exclaimed as she stumped her foot on the ground twice.

It was recess and Stig, Jeanette and I were in the auditorium. She had called Stig and me earlier to give us lessons on how to be 'royal.' I felt like she was taking this whole prom thing more seriously than I did. 

Stig and I were seated on plastic chairs while she stood in front of us and demonstrated with a specter in her hand. 

"Okay, seriously, what's the specter for?!" I asked.

"Don't ruin this moment for me, Jenna." 

Jeanette walked to the center of the room and then, her expression suddenly grew serious. "My point is, if you wanna win prom king and queen, you'd have to be willing to go all the way. I don't think you're willing. Think you're ready to go all the way?" she said, her tone going down a little between creepy and fun.

"I don't know what you're talking about."
