How can she not realize after letting out a secret no one knows until now?

She herself become cautious against them after telling them and pursed her lips, "I know that very well but Mr. Ed is 21 years old and as I remember it correctly all the pregnant woman were saved 19 years ago so…".

She was curious to know what was Ed real case.

"So, was Mrs. Cress was also kidnapped and experimented on… 19 years ago and you are the end result of that? Gosh! We know and have checked each one who was kidnapped but never knew that the Cress family was also involved," Eric sounded surprised.

Since they didn't get to know that the cress family was also involved, they were sure that Mr. Cress did his best to hide his baby daughter who was born healthy from bad eyes.

Cynthia didn't reply his question just like they didn't utter anything on Ed topic and it appeared that they were not going to say anything despite asking her for many things.

"Anyway, he is also a successful experimented child just as me, isn't it?" she asked pointing at Ed while looking at Wayne.

All she could hear was her and their voice since the café was unusually silent without any other customer and she just realized it after no one spoke or answered her on that sensitive question and sat with a depressed look.

The silence was apparent. And it was also obvious that it must be their work that the café had no other customer then them or how else could they had been able to talk on such a sensitive matter so freely.

Since she didn't get any reply, she understood that Ed has a heavy flaw and relented from asking anymore questions.

Her lips parted to erase the silence when Ed kept his warm hand over hers and said with the saddest look he could give.

"I can't… h-have skin ship," his eyelids dropped as he uttered those hard words but Cynthia found it weird after all his hands were still clinging on hers.

What a nice actor I am! She will definitely be fooled by my sad face and accept to help me.

Since the sad face was just a façade he created to lure Cynthia, he praised himself of his nice acting but the twins were feeling sad for him for real after seeing how sad their friend was.

But how can Ed even feel sad after getting to touch and feel others warmth after spending his life like a saint for 21 years and feeling the enormous pain of his disease. 

Cynthia found his words unreliable.

"But you are touching me now and even before…," she was reminded of the passionate kiss as she said and swallowed.

"All thanks to you, Cynthia," he held her hand with his both hand and thanked her looking like a cute and innocent child but Cynthia could only feel disgusted by that expression of his.

Since she couldn't understand what he meant by those words, she asked again, "What's the meaning of this?".

Her gaze first approached Ed and then Wayne who was like the translator of all these mysterious word Ed was talking.

"You have experienced it yourself, too. When we were inside the car of the researchers and were searching for the child, Ed started to have panic attack after accidently having a slight touch by me but he soon got cured when he ki… touched you," he said and kept himself from uttering the word kiss after sensing the dangerous vibe from Cynthia.

It does remind her of how crazy Ed was acting in the car and a little earlier she even called him mentally unstable.

She was quickly filled with guilt for uttering such words in front of a guy who was really…

She swallowed and calmed her guilty sense.

Who knows whether they were telling her the truth or not? Maybe they were lying to her.

Her guilty sense calmed down after thinking those reasonable things.

Ed could see what was going inside her head after judging her expressions but he didn't want her to feel less guilty.

Only when she feels bad for him and for saying those words, can he ride her emotions easily.

"If you don't believe me then I can touch them to show you the truth," his voice sounded very innocent.

There was no way Cynthia was going to believe him that easily but if he does touch someone else for her and gets hurt then she will feel more guilty.

As he raised his hand and started to take it toward Eric who was in front of him, his hand trembled and throat become dry.  

Cynthia could feel his heavy and fast breath in that eerie silence.
