A contract
Her lips parted and their face become excited.
"I will try my best to help him but before that, we need a laboratory to start the preparation," Cynthia said, there was a different light on her face as she talked about work with strangers, she has only met twice or thrice.
The twins exchanged glances.
There existed a laboratory called G-science that not many people knew who the investor was.
And the investor was no one else but Ed and he also worked their randomly to find clues to cure himself.
But the twins dared not talk about the laboratory with a girl they do not know much about. They waited for Ed to make his mind.
"Well, I do have one under my name," he said and pushed the file toward her, "if you want to work there to help me, please sign these papers".
So, what does this file piled up with papers consisted?
Cynthia swallowed and keenly stared it without opening it and then threw a glance at Ed, "What's this for?".
"Just in case you betray us and leak our important information. We can't be careless. So, sign it. If you leak the information about us, we can sue you," Ed said it throwing away his fake pathetic look to make Cynthia feel bad for him.
The twins didn't have any idea about what was in that contract since Ed didn't tell them about it before hand.
And when did he ready such a contract?
They were perplexed but curious too.
"You know about me, too. Why should I be the only one to sign the contract?" she frowned since it felt unfair.
"You can make one for yourself and I will sign it but now since you agreed to help me, please sign it".
Cynthia felt weird. Why did he suddenly wished for her to sign it? What was inside. She grabbed the file and was about to read it when his words stopped her.
"I am really desperate and I think that you might change your mind later, so I want you to sign it quickly," once again that pathetic look tingled her heart.
She felt really bad for him and unintentionally started to think about how hard his life had been until now.
She read the first page, it was ok and not so bad and there were more than 23 pages to read. Even an intelligent person like her was feeling, too, lazy to read all of them.
She let out a sigh through her parted lips and like an uneducated girl, she signed just after reading the first page with a ridiculous thought.
Let it be. I feel, too, tired just by seeing this many pages… gosh! Even if I have to breach the contract later, I can just hand over the money and I guess that will be ok, right?
She just signed with a thought that if she feels uncomfortable later, she will breach the contract since she was not short of money but she didn't give any attention to the amount she has to pay for breaching the contract.
A sly smile left his parted lips in secret.
His startled eyes when she signed the contract without reading another page become warm and wicked.
He didn't expect her to be this off guard but his excitement level was skyrocketing once she signed it. Now it felt like she was in his palm of hand but he should hide his fangs until the time comes.
Hah… I suddenly got her under my control. Did God show mercy to me?
Ed happiness was uncontrollable so to hide it from Cynthia, he got up after taking the file and looked at the twins seriously.
"Let's get going," then he dropped his gaze at Cynthia, "we will contact you soon, Miss Cynthia".
Cynthia was dumbfounded. How come this clingy man who wasn't leaving her alone suddenly left by himself and with a serious look.
She thought for a while but rather then thinking anymore, she looked at her watch and left for her classes for which she was running late.

"You are Cynthia, right?" Rena asked.
Sitting elegantly in the classroom of her juniors once the class ended, she waited for everyone to leave and stopped Cynthia before she could leave the room.
Now what trouble was waiting for her next?
