A bet!

"Here bro!".

A guy in his twenties showed his hand with a cheerful smile while expecting a high-five from the guy sitting beside him. But got a dejected look when he was rejected.

Brown curly hair and cute big eyes. He looked girlish rather than handsome. Wearing black shorts and a hoody t-shirt in the warm weather, they were sitting on the Pc gaming chair.

In the room that had more than five professional gaming chairs only three were acquainted by three young man in their early twenties.

It looked like they just took a short break after playing for a while.

"Eric, don't behave childishly!" his twin brother Wayne scolded him for asking for a high-five from Ed.  

Alan Ed Reynard famous for being a successful and youngest president of the Arch VIST company and also famous for being indifferent to everyone.

He despises it when anyone touches him even if accidently.

He also founded G-science, a secret group to do research on human genes to help himself with his mysterious disease and others like him.

Both Wayne and Eric are a member of his secret group.

Wayne Loxley and Eric Loxley are the son of the Loxley family that have a very big business in real states. They both are a third generation hires to their grandpa company.  

Eric, who acts childishly and different than his brother with same face, pouted after being scolded by his brother.

"Any way, I had a fun time winning against that arrogant player in a dual match of Forbidden stars". Eric giggled forgetting his brother nag.

'Forbidden stars' is a game launched two years ago by the Arch VIST enterprises and now it has become the most famous game of the country.

Ed Reynard's father was the one to develop the game and now his one and only son have taken over the company.

Wayne scoffed, "It's been one year and you are still trying to win against that so called arrogant player! More than that, rather then you winning the match it appears that the 'Frost lord' left in the middle of the game".

Eric frowned and bashed his hand against the desk, "Humph, think what you want, I am going to meet him tomorrow".

"Meet him and tomorrow? Didn't Frost lord always refused to meet? And why are you so sure its 'him' and not 'her'?" Wayne with a smirk questioned.

His words made Eric daze off in his thought while at the same time Reynard was staying silent and hearing their conversation.

Sitting with his arms crossed he was staring them with his sapphire eyes that looked like gems. Subtle fingers brushing through his shiny black hair. He looked aloof and a little interested in the player 'Frost lord'.   

"Huh… girls can never be this good at playing. I bet it must be a guy. And since I had a bet with him, he will eventually come to meet me outside the Onlon university campus café"

Ed scoffed looking at him and shrugged his shoulder. It appeared that Ed was thinking differently than Eric and looked pretty dissatisfied with his words.

Getting such response, Eric bucked his neck back, "What? Do you have some problem with me?".

Ed nodded, "your words are really annoying".

He again scoffed and gave a mocking chuckle whereas Wayne nodded, his eyes squinted and lips pursed. He was showing his satisfaction with Ed words.

Looking at both of them who find him annoying, Eric childishly frowned and clenched his teeth, "What, are you asking trouble from me, huh?"

"Who was that so called person always calling women annoying and who was that weird and annoyed person to find beautiful and sexy women as bothersome". Eric drew his eyebrows up and harrumphed.

Of course, it was the two men sitting either side of Eric. They both whenever got the chance complained how scheming women were.

"This and that matter are different? We found them irritating because they always try to cling on us but it doesn't mean they are not good at other things," Wayne stood for the girls but after seeing Eric frown and disbelief face, he gave up, "forget it, do whatever you want".

"Well anyway, I have passed him the message to meet us tomorrow. Since he has lost the bet then he would definitely come to meet us to keep his word and at that time just check whether it's a 'he' or 'she'. Ok!" Eric grinned.

"Sure thing!" Ed said while nodding.

That was surprising because Ed was never interested in meeting someone on his own accord.

Both the brothers were looking at him as if he was some kind of alien that learnt to speak suddenly. Those stares of the two brothers were bothersome, so he quickly changed the topic.

Moving his rolling seat right and left while resting his head on the seat back, Ed said while looking away from there stunned gazes, "Did you exported the recent research subject?".
