Issue #4

Jack didn't return to the Avengers Tower. Instead, he went to the Institute. It was early evening so classes were over which meant that Jack could visit Emma without worry. But when he flew through her window, he saw 5 identical girls all wearing blouses and skirts.

"Hey, ladies. I'm guessing Emma is busy," Jack asked while trying to be as natural as possible when he was just caught sneaking into someone's room.

The girls all spoke at the same time "Yes, Dad. Mum is having a teacher..."

"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Jack quickly interrupted them. "Why are you calling me 'Dad'?"

"Well if Mum is Mum, then her husband must be Dad. Or do you prefer 'Daddy'?" they asked

"We aren't married yet! And I'm only 25! I'm way too young to be a father of teens," Jack refuted

"But that means you will be married eventually. And we have also been shown how much you take care of kids so the kids of your future wife should be taken care of even more so. So it shouldn't matter if we call you that in private if that's the case," they defended themselves

Jack wanted to argue with them but knew that if he continued, not only would he not get his way but he also might piss off Emma by refusing so much. He decided to talk about something else.

"It's only been a few hours but you girls are already calling her Mum?"

"We connected psychically and spent some time together that way. After getting to know each other, it was only natural that we call the woman we got our DNA from Mum," they casually answered

Jack nodded in understanding. He had also been able to bond with Emma during their sessions while training together. If they had just a few sessions of getting to know each other, he might have gotten closer with her sooner.

"Well, it's good that you ladies are getting along? What do you think of the school from what you saw?"

"Too many kids!" Irma/Mindee commented

"Room is too small compared to Mum's," Sophie complained

"Food is not as good as what Mum showed us," Esme added on

Jack laughed at all the girls in front of him. In just a few hours, Emma had already made them spoiled like herself.

'I should give props to the woman. She is capable of corrupting everyone she meets.'

{Thanks, darling but I'm sure that I can do better.} Emma said through a telepathic link

Unknown when she had started listening in on him, Jack was surprised. After recovering, he immediately started trying to flirt with her. He continued to talk with the girls while also dividing his mind to have a conversation with Emma.

{I'm sure you can as well, beautiful. And your telepathic skills are as strong as ever. I didn't even sense you.}

{That's because you've been slacking. But it seems like your control has gotten much better. To be able to hold two conversations simultaneously is impressive.} Emma gave him a compliment

{That's actually a new power I picked up. I have [Cyber Mind] like Sebastian's pet Tessa did.}

{Oh. That will have plenty of uses for someone who is capable of having infinite powers. You will be able to use multiple of them simultaneously and flawlessly.} Emma immediately saw the benefits of his power

{Hmm. How much longer is your meeting?} Jack asked as he truly wanted to spend time with Emma in person

{Tsk. Don't even. Katherine started a food fight so now we have to go through 'proper expectations of teachers' course with Xavier.}

{That's too bad. Should I wait here tonight or head back to my place?}

{If you were expecting sex, you should head back to your place. I want to be with the girls during their first night here.} Emma was ready to reject him instantly

{Already choosing the kids over me haha. I was actually just planning to have a date night with a kiss goodnight at the end. But I get that the girls need you tonight. We can catch up another time.}

Emma was so glad to hear that Jack was being understanding.

'Even though he acts like a horn-dog most of the time, he is still the sweet kid I first me.'

{Oh. So you were interested in me before I came back from Limbo?}

Having her own thoughts be read by Jack, Emma, who was about to offer Jack a few hours of mental sex, immediately changed her mind out of embarrassment.

{Tsk. In your dreams child. I saw the traits I found attractive in a man in you but I was in no way attracted to a child. Anyway, I need to pay attention to this meeting. Let's have a date this weekend.} Emma countered Jack

{Hmm. Sounds good to me. I will get a reservation at that French place you like in Manhattan. Saturday or Friday?}

{Saturday is better. I don't want to be tired from dealing with children and want the entire day with you.}

{Hmm. Sounds like a plan. I'll see you Saturday, my beautiful wife.}

Jack and Emma quickly ended the connection. He also finished talking with the girls at around the same time. After bidding them goodbye, Jack was out the window once more and flying toward Avengers Tower.

Once he was back, Jack went back to his apartment and began cooking himself a few pizzas for dinner. When he saw the Pet Avengers arrive, he also made some food for them as well. They had meatloaf for dinner.

Once he was all done cooking and eating, Jack decided to check in with both of his avatars.

{Where are you both?}

Qilip held a man by his throat before snapping it. All around him were over 20 dead bodies and several crates of assault rifles.

{I'm still in the house} Qilip replied

Troy was standing on top of a skyscraper and looking at the city beneath him. The bodies of two gargoyles were underneath his feet.

{Same. Watching Step-Brothers. Super funny!} Troy lied through his teeth

{Got it. Make sure you get to sleep early} Jack did not expose them. They were extensions of him so he knew how they would act if they were told to stay in the house when they were sure they wouldn't get caught.

Jack made sure not to let them know that he could always tell their location or other parts of the power. He wanted to keep trump card in case either one of them ever tried to foolishly rebel.
