Chapter 8: The Heart of Jelousy
Angelina answered him and left what she was doing and go inside the room.
"Come and sit down here we have a discussion."
Then Angelina went to sat down on the bed behind her husband
"Angelina you see I think you supposed to have your own shop. At least if you have your own shop you will also be making money as well so what do you think?" Asked Mr. Jack.
"Yes, I love it."
"Alright I suggested that you should go and visit your mother for a while and told them that we like you to do freedom anything they have they should support you. And when they are ready I will also send the almost am capable of."
"Well that is a good suggestion but they can also send their support while am still leaving here."
"No, if you stay here they won't be serious, said Mr. Jack.
"Ok I heard you when should I go and visit them."
"First week of next month."
"Ok, let me go and check the food am cooking." She said and went to the kitchen.
The following month Angelina arrange her baby clothes and her clothes and packed them in a travelling bag. She back her baby and carried the traveling bag and Left.
She went to stay with her mother as they had planned.
Few days after, she was on the main road waiting for a bus she wanted to take to her friend house. She left her baby with her mum at home.
Then a white Toyota Corolla pass by her side. The man driving the car drove backwards when she saw Angelina.
He went to packed beside Angelina and he wine down the glass.
"Angelina how are you doing?" He said.
"Fine Chima."
"It has been a long while we departed."
"Yes, how is work?"
"Fine."
"Where are you going? let me drop you."
She told her the location she want to go. And she went inside his car.
Chima had dated her when they are in secondary school.
Chima said as he was still driving,
"Angelina you are even more beautiful more than when you were in school then."
"Thank you."
"Beauty, if not for my phone that got lost we could have been still dating."
"Well that is pass tense."
"Anyway if you don't mind I like both of us
to continue with our relationship and I will make sure I take care of you with much money in my hand."
Angelina laugh and said "Chima Chima don't worry about that I have already engaged."
"Ok, anyway I wish you best of luck in your marriage."
"Thank you."
"Please stop me here." And he packed the car and collected her number.
Angelina step down from the car and went straight to her friend house.

Angelina freedom was done after two months when she got to her mother's house. Her husband, mother and many of her relatives supported her financially on the expenses of the freedom.
A week after her freedom, she decided it was time to go back to her husband's house.
Upon arriving home, she entered the sitting room to find her husband and a strange woman sitting together on a chair, watching a movie.
Surprised, Angelina questioned who the woman was and where she had come from.
"She's our new housemaid," Mr. Jack explained.
"She's been helping with the cooking and housework while you were away."
"A housemaid dressed like that?" Angelina asked, skeptical.
"Haha, what's wrong with her attire?"
"She's wearing revealing clothes that would attract men, and she doesn't even cover her hair. If I had stayed longer at my mother's house, you might have been tempted by her. I'm not even sure if she's already been to bed with you."
"Angel, don't think like that. You know I'd never cheat on you."
"You're a man, and it's hard for a man to resist temptation when he's alone with a woman who isn't his relative."
"You're right, but not all men are the same. Trust me, I would never cheat on you."
"Okay, I hear you. But I want this so-called housemaid out of my house now."
"Alright, Jennifer, please leave. I'll settle your payment later; I'll send the money to your account."
"Alright, sir," Jennifer replied, showing respect as she left.
"What money were you going to pay her with?" Angelina inquired.
"I was going to pay her for the work she's done. She was even cooking in the kitchen when you arrived."
"I'll take over the cooking. Where's your mother?"
"She has gone back to Ghana."
"Okay," Angelina said, making her way to the kitchen.

Angelina went out and came back with foodstuffs which she had went to buy in the market.
She entered the sitting room and saw her husband coming out of the room wearing only a singlet and boxers.
She Ignores his greeting, and dropped the groceries and headed for the bedroom, but Mr. Jack stopped her.
"Take a moment to relax; the room is too hot right now," he suggested.
"Leave me alone!" she snapped, pushing past him into the bedroom.
There, she discovered Jennifer, half-naked in their bed.
What? In my room? No wonder you didn't want me to enter the room. So you are lying that she was your house maid."
"Am sorry dear it was work of the devil"
"Which devil's work are you saying."
And she went straight to Jenifer who had went to hide herself under the bed and draw her out of the bed then she began to bit her.
"You this idiot you have come to scatter my family I will make sure I kill you today."
As she was bitten her, Mr. Jack went closer to her wife he try to stopped her.
"Please, stop! Don't hurt her!"
In a fit of rage, Angelina slapped her husband three times.
"Let me deal with her first, then I'll come back to you." Jennifer seized the opportunity to flee the house, with Angelina in hot pursuit.
It was eight in the evening, Angelina was on the bed thinking deeply about all this, because she had been worrying when she saw Jennifer in the sitting room with her husband.
Few minutes after, she slept off.

Angelina was Growing suspicious of her husband's behavior, then she went to visit her friend and told her what was bordering her about her husband.
Then her friend gave her a tiny camera to keep an eye on Mr. Jack.
Returning home, Angelina carefully attached the camera to one of his shirts.
The following day, Mr. Jack put on the shirt and left for work, unaware of the hidden camera. Angelina watched the footage intently, hoping to uncover the truth.
