Pardoning

Dr. Clay was a well-known scientist around the near lands and was famous to discover some famous Powers that were now used amongst some of the highest individuals. He had once worked under the light residence but soon left for research purposes in the Illusionary clan and he used to keep In touch with Ray for discoveries. But soon after his contact with him. Ray interested the clan and in addition to the order of the shadows to capture him, it was to happen.

Barry kept a hand on Alan's face as he noticed some people entering the office, the door With a slam as two people stepped in, one being Dr. Clay and the second was unknown but his attitude was very aggressive towards him. He grabbed Clay with his shirt and threw him on the table wrecking the furniture and the peace of the room.

"You had one week to capture that boy and what did you do, sent some of your lousy men to catch him only to be defeated and expose us," said the man.

"I'm so...(cough cough) sorry, please spare me and give me the extra time I will get it done for sure" replied Clay.

(A huge blast goes off)

"Damn, I told Hazel to be stealthy", thought Barry while leaving Alan's mouth.

The man in the office at once left the scene to investigate the source of that blast as Clay regained himself from the destruction and stood up cussing the man and his life. But before he could progress further he felt immense pressure behind him as he looked back to see Barry and Alan standing side by side glaring down at him as he tripped. Barry realizes the importance of minimal time grabbed Clay by his collar and demanded answers.

"BARRY, chill put me down ill tell you what you need to know just spare me", requested Clay which was accepted by Barry as he placed him down and waited for him to start spilling.

"Clay explained that he had never intended to betray his comrades. He was compelled to do so when he ventured into researching new abilities and unexpectedly encountered the shadows. Upon meeting their leader, he found himself in mortal danger, but his knowledge proved valuable to them, and he was spared. They enlisted him into the illusionary clan to conduct further research on powers that would benefit their cause. Eventually, many of the shadow commanders departed on an unforeseen quest, and Clay was entrusted with a mission: to capture Alan, along with a team of men, explained Clay.

Alan and Barry stood still while listening to his story but still, they had no mercy in their eyes and were in desperate need of an answer quickly as they didn't know how long Hazel could handle the situation out there.

"But why did you need Alan anyway?", questioned Barry.

Clay confessed his confusion, expressing his struggles to piece together the true purpose of Alan's capture. He admitted that his knowledge of the matter was limited, leaving him in the dark about Alan's intentions. All he knew was that he had been assigned the task of apprehending Alan, and the master had ominously declared, "He will unleash a power so unimaginable that it will ultimately plunge this world into darkness."

Both Alan and Barry had utter looks of confusion as they didn't understand a single word he said but knew it was bad news, however, multiple screams kept coming from outside and they had to act quickly.

Barry once again held Clay by the collar and asked him the whereabouts of Ray looking at the fierce attitude in Barry's eyes he didn't dare to tell a lie and straight went to the point.

"Come follow me", said Clay

Barry at once left him and proceeded to follow him to Ray after some secret walking in the facility they came across a room that was sealed shut, without wasting any time Barry immediately busted open the door only to see Ray crying in the corner of the room.

"Ray!, you okay in there?", asked Barry.

Ray glanced over his shoulder and caught sight of his sole trusted friend, who had arrived to liberate him from his torment. Upon his arrival in this place, he was coerced into collaborating with Dr. Clay in developing new abilities to bolster the clan's misguided cause. Ray adamantly refused, stating that he could never betray his former clan. In response, he was isolated in a room and subjected to a chilling ultimatum: either comply with their demands or risk the life of his sister. Ray found himself on the brink of reluctantly accepting their terms, trapped with no apparent escape. However, at precisely the right moment, Barry appeared to rescue him, thwarting the dire circumstances.

Ray at once got up from his despair and ran towards Barry with gratitude and hugged him at once with tears rolling down his face. Barry calmed him down and reminded him of the promise he made when they were young, that due to Ray having no power at all it was Barry's duty to look out for him and his sister to which he kept his word.

"C'mon, let's go we don't have much time left", said Barry while removing his tears.

They started to march towards the exit and noticed that Dr. Clay was following them behind to which Barry stopped and interrogated him about it.

"Please don't do this to me I was once your ally, I was forced to do this please I beg of you take me back home I don't have anyone I'm all alone in this with no one to assist or console me please help me Barry", said Clay while tearing up and begging Barry.

Barry didn't respond and instead grabbed his hands to make him stand up on his feet and then indicated to him to follow. They made their way to the exit and reached behind the door.

"Okay, Guys this is gonna get rough, Alan you stay with me as we would have to take care of the enemies while the two docs stay hidden", ordered Barry to which all three nodded.

And with that, a huge explosion went out as the door was blasted off and the ground with a lot of Enemies took its image with Hazel and Shelby taking care of it.

Barry taking advantage of his speed immediately knocked some of them out with a single punch while Alan also contributed through his wind ability and knocked out a few of those men, The ground started to clear up, but something wild was to come in their path as they felt an oppressing aura Head their way.

"Buckle up everybody, This is gonna be tough"
