Goblins

"OUCH!! What the HELL?! GET OFF!!" I screamed at the ugly thing.

The goblin snarled and sniffed my hair. It pulled out a knife and the man kneels down next to me.

"Don't move or he will kill you." The man whispers calmly.

I whimper, uncertain if I should lesson or not. It's too late, the goblin has me by my hair. Five more came out of the darkness that surrounded us to pin me down. My anxiety rises and I start to squirm. The man starts to rubbing my face.

"Don't move and they will hurt you. The more you struggle the more they will hurt you." He told me as I continued squirming.

He was right, the more I moved, the goblins nails dug into my arms and six more goblins came out on both sides of me to hold down my legs. I whimper the more they dug their nails into my skin. I continue to whimper and look up to the man. He hushes me softly, I can't believe that he is letting four foot goblins pin me down. He touches my cheek again gingerly as he strokes his fingers across my face to move my hair out of the way.

"Good girl", he said as I started to calm down.

The goblin holding my hair pulls the knife up to it. Before I knew it, my hair falls to the ground and more goblins came out. Baby goblins comes running out of the bushes and picked up my hair. My HAIR, THE GOBLIN IS CUTTING MY HAIR. I start to panic, breathing heavily and struggling to get away. The goblins pinning me down start to take their knives out. The man grabbed my jaw.

"No, they will kill you. Lay still", he said calmly with a stern tone.

Out of shock I lesson to him. The goblin continues to cut my hair as the others put their knives away.

The goblin finished cutting my hair. God, I hope that I'm not bald. The goblins that were pinning me down let go. The one that was cutting my hair jumped off. They were trying to guide the baby goblins back into the darkness. The baby goblins didn't want to leave my hair behind and dragged it on the ground like ribbons. The man still had his hand on my jaw and his grip tightens while he watches the goblins disappear.

I glared at him hard, wanting him to let go. To answer my questions. He looks down at me.

"Oh don't give me that bloody look. You almost got yourself killed and thanks to me, you're not dead." He said and grabbed my throat.

"Who goes out into the damn woods during the night without a weapon to protect themself girl! Why even last a weakling like you be out here all alone, hm? You're not cut out for this shit, unless you start listening to me. You won't even last a damn day without me, you hear me." He said, then let go of my neck.

I gasp for air while coughing a bit. I try to sit up, but my arms and legs hurt. I look over and see there were scratch marks left on my arms and legs. Some nails were left behind in my skin. I grunt as I continue to sit up, the man grabbed my shoulders and sat me up. He picked me up to do so and placed me down hard, I whimpered in pain.

"Ouch, you didn't have to be so rough." I mumble under my breath towards him.

He grabbed my chin and tilted my head up and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Well, then someone should learn to obey or defend herself." He smirked and let go.

"Get up", he demanded and I shutter.

I'm barely able to move with a whimper. I look up to him shaking nervously.

"Get Up!" He shouts and I stumble back.

"First tell me your name." I said shaking, wanting answers.

He leans down in front of my face, so close that I can feel his breath tickle my face.

He whispers,  "We are not alone…"
