2 The Shady man

    "Thank you", I stutter shyly.

I look around for the wolf and he was gone. The man helped me back onto my feet.

            "My pleasure ", he said with a soft tone.

" Miss, you should not be out here wondering alone." He said

"But I wasn't alone. I was following a friend." I said shakily while following the man now.

Damn, now I have to worry about keeping up with this guy instead of the wolf. I wonder where the wolf went. 

"Yeah, a friend that left you out here to die. Don't you ever think twice girl?" He said as he suddenly stopped.

I bumped into him, watching my feet instead of where I was going. He hushed me and I looked up to see yellow eyes watching us from all around…

    He pulled out his sword, while I hid behind him. There were whispers in the darkness. 

    "Stay behind me, do you have a weapon?" He asked calmly.

    "Uh..uh.." I stuter as he sighs.

    "Okay, what little girl like you not armed with a weapon?" He demanded under his breath.

I sigh, then I heard something jump out at me. It was a goblin that was missing an ear. In the moonlight the skin looked like it was stone. His eyes flashed red and a huge grin spread across it's face. It jumped at my face and grabs my hair, as I scream in pain.
