Chapter 36. Two Mountains of tears

"The marines are waiting just by the calm belt. They probably want to make sure that you guys aren't with us!" A kuja pirate said worriedly.

"It seemed like fleet admiral Sengoku sent a few ships just to make sure that we didn't follow them." Law said.

"Do you think they already know?" Gaga asked as she stood beside him.

"Well they haven't discover us yet, that's the important part. We can still escape." Ronaldino said as he learned with his back against the railing while inspecting his gun.

"You'll have to sail away and return at another time!" Marigold finally came forwards and spoke.

Although the the marines couldn't be spotted with he naked eye since they are to far away. They trusted Ace's words.

"I have another solution, everyone, get on top of their ship." Ace commanded.

Everyone jumped on top of the Perfume Yuda.

This made Marigold's eye twitch a bit. Who allowed them to come aboard?

"And what? Will you just Abondon your ship?" Sandersonia complained.

"Her name is Black Pearl. And she ate a devil fruit!" Ace said as he raised his hand towards his ship.

The ship turned into a black stone and flew on top of his ring and settled there.

All the Kuja pirates dropped their jaws.

"Captain still does that huh, he never gets bored of the same trick." Yennow commented as his eyes were slowly inspecting every part of the Perfume Yuda, or rather, every part of the Kuja pirates.

"It ate a devil fruit?!!" Marigold and Sandersonia looked at each other, not comprehending what's going on.

"I heard about weapons eating devil fruit before!' a pink haired Kuja pirate commented.

"But a ship? That's a first." She continued.

Marigold and Sandersonia hurried to the captains cabin and knocked. They wanted to see if their Captain would allow the Demon Ace Pirates to hide on their ship.

"Do you think that it'll be fine to hide here?" Nami asked Gaga.

"Ahh Nami, look at them, they're staring at us, do you think they'll.... Spank us as punishment for boarding their ship?" Gaga whispered back to Nami in excitement.

Nami finally understood that even Gaga wasn't normal in the head.

Earlier she believed that only her and Gaga was normal but now she realised what was wrong with Gaga. Gaga idolizes Amazon Lily warriors.

After a while, Marigold and Sandersonia came out of Hancock's cabin.

"You guys can hide inside our ship, as for you." Sandersonia said a she pointed at Ace.

"You can go meet the Empress inside her cabin." Sandersonia said, with a slight threat lingering in her voice.

"Captain wait a second. Buddy, don't forget to speak well of me when you enter there. Tell the Empress that I'm her biggest fan! No tell her that if she wants to, I'm willing to jump ships any second! Ah! I mean, no, tell her that I love her!" Gaga hurriedly said to her captain with hearts in her eyes.

"Tsk." Ace found her annoying and pushed her away.

The Demon Ace pirates hurriedly went inside the ship.

As for Ace he went to the captains cabin and knocked.

'Hopefully there's food inside there, I'm hungry.' Ace thought.

No one answered so he knocked again.

Finally he got enough of the waiting and simply entered the cabin.

When he stepped inside he felt the fragrance of something flowery, sweet but also smokey.

It smelled nice.

Stepping inside and closing the door he found a big bed in the center of the big cabin. It was covered by drapes that covered the bed, making it look like a chamber.

The rest of the room was cousy. There was on area where she had a desk and chair. There were letters on top of the desk .

One side had a wardrobe.

Hancock seemed to be on top of her bed, as her shadow could be seen through the covers.

"Enter my chamber."

Ace stepped forward and his hands pulled the drapes, and he finally saw Hancock sitting on her bed.

"What the heck is wrong with your brain?" Ace accidentally spit out when he saw Hancock sitting on her bed without covering her torso.

Two mountains were standing proudly looking right at his face.

"Why the heck are ya naked. But nice boobies."

"Your rudeness never ceases to amaze me." Hancock spoke coldly.

"Thanks." He said, missing her point.

"So what's up, with the boobs?" Ace asked. Was she trying to seduce him?

He'll never fall for it!

'Ehem, you shouldn't for it either!' Ace thought as he warned his little brain.

This might be a trick so that sha can use her devil fruit on him and turn him into stone.

Then she'll go out and turn his Nakama into stone and give them away to the Marines.

Hancock turned away from Ace, showing her back.

Ace was surprised by the big tattoo that she has.

"This is the hoof of the soaring dragon! The crest of the Celestial Dragons!" Hancock said. Her tone laced with sadness.

"It's burnt into he flesh of of those enslaves by the world nobles. Which signifies that one is less than a human. " She said.

Ace became silent as he listened. He could hear how vulnerable she sounded right now.

She then explained how she and her two sisters had been enslaved by the world Noble long ago when they boarded a Kuja ship for the first time. And how the first man she had seen was the embodiment of terror.

They were tortured and trained to be perfect slaves. Four gruesome, horror filled years before they could escape thanks to a pirate that freed slaves.

They were given their devil fruits for entertainment, which later helped them survive.

"If you had not concealed us to the Marines before, there would be no place left for me and my sisters. Not even Amazon Lily knows of this secret." She admitted.

"Our secret must never be discovered, NOBODY CAN EVER KNOW ABOUT OUR PAST!" She said as she hugged her knees. Ace could definitely hear the emotion in her voice now.

"..."

"I am too afraid to let down my guard with anybody. The fear is too great, I can not face it!" *Hic* she admitted as she started crying.

It was the tears of a 8 year old that had lost all hope, and had fallen into the abyss.

After a a few minutes of crying, Hancock finally found the courage to continue.

"And now, for the first time in my life, I saw someome that dared to stand up to those nobles. To think there would be such a foolish man in this world, that dares to kill one them!"

"A man to challenge "heavens" without regard for his own life, a man so foolish!" She cried.

"... My ambition..." Ace started, making Hancock curiously look back at him.

Her tears that had fallen down her face leaving trails of tears down her chest and stomach, from her red eyes.

"Is to become the worlds strongest." He spoke with certainty.

Her eyes widened.

"I'm going to be a force in this world that no one dares to cross, so that those I love and care for, can live peacefully under my flag. And so that I can sail the seas without worry." Ace said as he smiled.

"You're indeed a foolish man. You'll have to cross those four monsters and then the world government to do that."

"I'm confident that I'll be able to do it." Ace said.

"Fufufu I think I like your foolishness!" She said in a chuckle.

It seemed like she had a big load of weight dropped from her shoulders, as if she was carrying the world on them.

Also, in the Canon, she got enslaved at 12, but in this story she got enslaved at 8. She'll be 4 years younger.

So she's 22 at this point in the story. You might've guessed it, Hancock will be in love with mc! But don't worry, this story won't have much romance and there'll be no lemon scenes.
