In this period of time, every country was under a great deal of stress. There would be a fight every other day in major cities.
If it was just that, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. But the damage caused by their fights was akin to having the city bombarded with missiles! The military could only follow behind them to clean up their butts. All the damage was reported as terrorist attacks.
During this time, a small city with over 300,000 civilians had been completely destroyed in the battle between the vampire half-demons and the Church.
If they had not managed to keep their cool, England would have really disregarded everything and directly called for nuclear attacks!
