The Baby's First Mission?

Courtney had no idea what was happening to her. All of a sudden her mouth felt dry, her head hurt, and she was having a really hard time forming coherent thoughts. 

Is this what people felt like whenever they saw her parents? This sucked! 

No wonder everybody wanted to kill them all the time!

"You, umm... feeling alright?"

"H-Huh? Why do you ask??"

"Your face is like... really red." The young man nodded.

Courtney pulled out her phone camera and realized that the handsome stranger was right. She looked like a blood clot with black lipstick. 

"I'm probably just a little hot because I just left workouts." she lied. 

Suddenly the man's eyes showed a glint of recognition. "Ohhhh, you're that track girl. Andrea, right?"

'Oh my god, he knows my name...' (Courtney has once again forgotten that over half the campus knows her name.)

'Hm? Did you say something, sweetheart?' A feminine voice asked.
