The whole Romeo Juliet thing

It was none other than Cheryl.

I was surprised and happy to see her here.

"Why are you standing here?" Jungkook asked.

"It's Cheryl." I said. Then I felt guilty.

"How will I face her? I have to talk to her." I said and walked to her.

"Cheryl." I called out.

"Oh, you. What you want?" She asked with some attitude.

"Just listen to me this once. Please."

"I'm not ready to listen to you. You betrayed me."

"I didn't betray you. I didn't like him. He's just a friend." I said and convinced her. But she wasn't ready to listen anything.

"That day Mark chased me. I pulled him out of nowhere and we went to the basement. Mark came there and I asked Jungkook to just act as my boyfriend to save myself from him. Mark didn't believe so Jungkook kissed me. After that only I knew you like him. This is not planned. Please believe me." Tears flowed as I said.

"Huh.. you want me to believe this? I'm not a fool. Such a lame reason. Why not find something nice?" She pushed me and walked.

What did ever do? Why do I even deserve this? I don't know what to do now. Everything's messed up with her and me.

"Y/n." Jungkook came over.

I hugged him and cried.

"Why doesn't she understand me?" I said crying.

"She'll understand soon. I'll help you out." He said.

He broke the hug and cupped my face. He wiped my tears with his thumb and looked at me.

"Look at me. I'm here for you. I'll help you get her back. I promise."

I nodded and hugged him.

"Now let's go. I have a spot to show you." He said and grabbed my hand.

"Where is it?" I asked wiping my tears.

"Surprise!" He said smiling.

We entered a backyard kinda place. It was filled with different flowers and a fountain in the middle.

People sitting outside and the kids playing around.

It basically looked like a small park.

"This is so amazing." I said.

"Come." He pulled me again.

He took me to a place where there were no one. It was so peaceful and a great place to enjoy nature.

We sat down on a bench.

"This is so relaxing." I said. He nodded.

An old couple walked past us. They held hands with each other. They really liked each other. They couldn't stop looking at each other.

"They're so cute." I said looking at them.

"How do you say?" He asked.

"They still love each other no matter what age. It would be nice to be with someone until you die. Love someone until you die. Do everything for them and live with them and for them until you die." I said and thought who would be my soul mate.

"So who's that guy?"

"I don't know. I haven't really thought about it."

"What about you? Have you found your ideal type girl?"

"I guess. Not sure yet. I myself don't know if I like her or not."

"Really?! You at least have an option. So who's this girl your talking about?"

"I'm not telling that." He said smiling.

"Someone's blushing so much for asking her name." I said pinching his cheek.

"Stop." He said feeling shy.

"I've heard people say that our soulmate is always with us. But we may not know it."

We just sat there and looked at the place. It was so refreshing.

*ring ring

My phone rang and it was Tae oppa.

"Hi oppa." I said happily.

"Y/n, are you ok? Jin hyung told me you had fever."

"Oppa I'm fine. Don't need to worry."

"You're still a kid. You don't what comes through a fever."

"*sigh* oppa. Really I'm fine now. If you want ask Jungkook." I said and handed him the phone.

"Hey hyung. How are things going?" He asked.

"How is she? Is she really ok? Check her temperature now and tell me." He was too loud that I could hear him.

He put his hand on my forehead and checked.

"Her temperature is normal hyung. And she looks fine too."

"Ok. Take care of her." He said and cut the phone.

"Oppa.." Jung suh came.

"Oppa, Jung hyun oppa called you." She said.

We got up and left to see his brother.

"Hyung, this is y/n. Jin hyung's cousin. Y/n, my brother." He introduced.

We shook hands.

"Kook I would like you to meet someone." As he said a girl came. She looked familiar.

"Y/n?!" She was shocked. I wasn't quiet sure who it was. But I guess it must be her.

"Eun-Jung?" I asked doubtful. She nodded her head.

I hugged her immediately.

"It's been so long." She said. I agreed with that. It was quiet a long time.

"You guys know each other?" Jung-hyun asked.

"Yes. She is Jin oppa's and Myra's friend. Obviously I know her. She used to visit us." I said.

"You didn't tell me you knew y/n. I missed her so much while I was overseas." She said. I was really happy that I saw her.

"Jungkook!!" She hugged him.

"When did you come noona?" He asked.

"Yesterday. How's everything going?"

"Great. It's all well."

"So, how about your personal life? Got anyone or still single?"

"As of now, no one." He said.

He laughed shyly.

"Ok. I have something to tell." His brother said. We listened eagerly.

"Im getting married." He said.

Jungkook was so shocked and happy.

"Well, who's the lucky girl to marry oppa?" I asked.

Eun-Jung showed her hand with a ring on it.

"You.... you already proposed?" I asked out of curiosity. He nodded.

"I'm so happy for you." I hugged them both.

"You're really getting married? I can't believe. I mean, congrats." Jungkook hugged his brother.

"Have you told your parents first?" I asked.

"Not yet."

"Then do that first." I said and they went.

"It's so amazing. I can't believe." He said.

"Get ready to become an uncle, kookie." I said pinching his cheeks.

We sat down in the reception kinda place. I still couldn't figure out whether it's a hotel or a house.

"Is this a hotel or a house?" I asked out of curiosity.

"It's our house."

"I'm definitely gonna kill you soon." He laughed.

Jung hyun and Eun Jung were coming with jungkook's father.

They stopped in front of us.

"What've you done Hyun? I wanted to get you married to another company's daughter and you're here with someone." His father said angrily.

"She's not someone Appa. She's my fiancé now and my friend. I love her a lot." He said.

"So what? Do you want your life to be good or our business to be good? We need share with their company and they'll help us with our company's development."

Jungkook got up. I stopped him.

"I'll talk it out." I said and headed to them.

"Sir, sorry for interrupting and eavesdropping. But sir, his future is important." I said.

"Sir, can I know how you met your wife? Did they force you to marry her or you liked her, so you married her?"

"I liked her so much. No one forced me. It was my life so I get to choose who I want in my life." He said.

"Sir, the same way, even your son doesn't need to be forced to marry. It's his future and he's a grownup now. He can choose his life partner. He can develop himself or his skills and bring your company in a high position.

"Sir, he wants to spend his life with someone he loves. He will probably hate his life if you get him married to someone he might not like. Sir, Juliet died after hearing what happened to Romeo. They had such a good chemistry. But they couldn't get together. Her family lost her. That was the only thing they got in return."

"Now, the main question is, do you want your son's future to be good or your company's future?"

"You've really brought some sense to me. Now I say, my sons and daughter future is important than anything. And thanks for bringing up the light in me. Kook, you've got such a great friend." He said, smiled at me and left.

"Y/n, thanks a lot for making my father accept. You've done such a big thing." Oppa said.

"Thanks a lot y/n. But I still can't believe you both are single." Eun Jung said.

"It's ok. I did what I could do as a friend."

"Kook, I can't really believe you're friends with y/n. You both have the same taste in movies." Jung hyun said.

"We don't have the same taste." Jungkook said.

"Yeah I agree." I said.

"I mean, Who doesn't love Romeo Juliet?" Jungkook asked.

"Exactly. It's one of the best romantic movie. It's so amazing." I said.

"It's like one of the best. It's so emotional when Juliet dies as Romeo died."

"Love should be like that." We both said at the same time. We looked at each other.

"Ok. Now I get what you said. I'll just leave." I said and walked.

Jungkook's POV

I was impressed by y/n's speech to dad. Even I could've never thought like that.

"Thanks a lot y/n. But I still can't believe you both are single." Eun Jung said.

"Kook, I can't really believe you're friends with y/n. You both have the same taste in movies." Hyung said.

"We don't have the same taste." I said firmly. It's true we do love romantic movies but it doesn't need to be the same one.

"Yeah." Y/n too agreed on that.

"I mean who doesn't love Romeo Juliet?" I asked.

We started describing it.

"Love should be like that." We both said at the same time and looked at each other.

Ok, hyung was right. We did have in fact.

"Ok. Now I get what you said. I'll just take a leave." She said and left.

That was really awkward though.

"I'll also leave." I said and went behind her.

"Stop." I said. She stood there and looked at me.

"Isn't it a good love story?" She asked.

"Heck yes. It's obviously one of the best." I said.

"What about titanic?" We again said at the same time. And laughed.

"But Romeo Juliet is kinda my favourite. I've seen their plays on tv but I want to see it live." She said.

"Anyways let's get going." We walked.

Y/n's POV

We really did have the same taste. Finally someone who liked movies as the same as mine.

"Is someone else joining us?" I asked.

"Yeah. The other members and a few other friends from my old school." He said.

He's really energetic. He's really a happy person. Very enjoying and a lot interactive. I'm happy to have him.

I just looked at him. The ways he tried to make me accompanied while Tae oppa wasn't there, how he comforted me, made me happy.

"What are you looking at?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said and smiled.
